There was a heavy reprisal attack against those Headslammers in Aba in the year 2000. Few of them (like 10) were killed in Onitsha before everything calmed down. Then came the 2006 cartoon riot, Omo I saw hell that period. It was total massacre and annihilation in Onitsha. The truth is that no Newspapers or media could give accurate number of people killed in Onitsha. Hundreds of them were killed at Head bridge why trying to escape East. Their bodies were thrown into the River Niger. Those fishes for River Niger really enjoyed that period oo. Every street in Onitsha then were littered with dead bodies. It spread to Nnewi. Their only mosque at Nnewi then was burnt and some of them killed. So they don't have any mosque again in Nnewi again till date. Some parts of the East like Nsukka also killed some of them. After that Onitsha massacre, they stopped their useless madness and start respecting themselves ever since.
