if you know you're biafran then leave Nigeria out of your name. you people are so hypocritical that you use Nigerian passports, and still move freely across the country- buying lands wherever suits you. whereas an non Igbo can't be sold land in the SE, now who's being marginalized and segregated?? Culture › Re: Ten Famous Festivals in Nigeria by trapQ: 6:46pm On Aug 26, 2015 |
the writer listed the most famous ones. you should appreciate peoples efforts. a festival need not have historical values. calabar festival is also a source of revenue to the state too. tho very minimal.moreover scholes0: * There is nothing like Onitsha Ivory festival, the proper name is "OFALA"
* Where is the IGUE festival of the Benin/Edo people?
* You didn't even pick at least ONE of the beautiful DURBARS from the northern emirates, and you are picking some random silly carnival from Calabar, that has no historical value....
* There is nothing like Rivers "water festival", what they have is boat "REGATTA", and even the picture is not of the event, but an Asian event.
* New Yam festival is NOT an Igbo festival, various groups in Nigeria celebrate new yam festival. Yorubas call it "IJESU", Igbos call it 'IRIJI"
* The picture of the Sharo/Shadi festival is obviously a picture of something else. See a picture of REAL Nigerian Fulanis celebrating sharo below:
https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5775/20714546320_04863f0b85_b.jpg
* Where is the "IGOGO" Festival of Owo people? it is very popular, but you omitted it. I know you copied directly from wikipedia, and IGOGO was there.
* Where is the ''OLOJO" Festival, of the people of Ile-Ife? That can be pardoned sha, since it is connected to the Ogun festival. read about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olojo_festival |

you need panadol or any other drug that reduces mental retardation. yorubatic: My people let us start agitating for a sophisticated and progressive Odu'a republic. I want us to be as brave as the ibos....if ibos are cowards, they won't be fighting for biafra all these years....
Mind you the rest of nigerians are cowards, not the ibos...it is the British who won the biafran war because British consider Nigeria their property....
Eastern nigeria is British property but biafra is not....Biafra is more or less considered an ibo man property, hence the British refusal to let go....
Nigeria as whole a is British property, and among these slaves of the British, it only the ibos who want freedom, just as it has always been during the slave trade...ibos are not slaves and can never be a slave. ...
I am agitating for my yorubas people to wake up and stop being slaves and O'yes to anything
How many yorubas are agitating for odua republic? How many Hausa / Fulani are agitating for arewastan? How many ijaw is agitating for ijaw republic? Then asked your dunce selves, my people, how many ibos want to be a Nigeria?
My people stop being Dunces of the century ...Join me and musiwa to agitate for our sophisticated and progressive Odu'a republic |

I have the book "richest man in Babylon" benzion72: That is exactly the way I felt when I got Executive trainee job with a bank in 2001. I resumed 24th December, 2001. Here are my unsolicited advise for you. You don't need to pay a dime for it. Get the book The richest man in Babylon. It major advise is to save 10 percent of your income, invest another 10 percent and give a tithe of 10 percent. I will advice you invest 40 percent of your income in anything that will give you financial freedom and landed property is the best for now. You don't need to go to Lekki go to Mowe Ofada redeem. Intact if I were you I will invest little in electronics, phones etc because they change with time. It reminds me of my BlackBerry Bold 1. Brand new one then cost N110,000 today it is less than 10k. That money can get me an hacter of land in Ibadan 8 plot then and today I would have resold it at least 300k per plot 7 years after. Have an alternative plan called plan B. Wish best of luck |
