Has there been any black Friday? Most sellers just inflated the prices and later slashed to normal prices. You can even get most of these prices in physical shops and some at cheaper prices

Redmi 9A, Redmi 8A and 2/32GB variant of Redmi 9C, 3/64GB variant of Redmi 9C is in the region of 53k at least.

The camera is good for the price.
Do you know any recommended seller, my budget is within that redmi 9c

DanTheGeek:

For starters, the UI/UX needs an upgrade. He can continue like this and still be making money because he has overcome the chicken and egg problem but for modern web apps in this decade to thrive, a nice UI/UX is necessary. I understand NL was built in 2007 an era where the CSS industry was still very young but this is 2020, Seun needs to up his game seriously or another better looking forum will take its place in the not too distant future.
Many users here are not tech savvy and simplicity is cute. Though there might be some things that need adjustment or an upgrade, but Nairaland is fine the way it is bro

Religion / Re: Sexual Temptations And The Movie Industry by treasuremi1(m): 7:34am On Aug 31, 2020
0temSapien:
Dirty minds will always churn out dirty imaginations. I've watched wrestlings, boxings, UFC, kissing scenes in movies, crime scenes, magic scenes, etc for years, right from childhood till date, but none of these things have influenced my decisions till date. The writer thinks that entertainment is doing us harm when it really isn't. It is part of life as a human. We all know by commonsense that what we are watching is scripted, so we don't stupidly act them out. Except maybe little kids, and that's why we have the 'PGs' and instructions before watching any movie.

As regards calling people into ministry or not. Here in Nigeria we already have bunches of criminals in the name pastors who said that they are called to ministry. They can all speak in tongues but none of them can cure Corona Virus. We don't really need more people in the ministry. What we need is more people to speak out against religious scandals and scams. Also people are needed to voice out their minds against our 'thiefing' politicians. We should stop carrying foreign religion upon our heads to hawk as if we knew anything about their religions and gods prior to the time they colonised our grandparents and ancestors and imposed their religion on us.

This is my 2kobo. cool
I beg to defer sir. The writer proves that sexual scenes in movies consequently cause pollution of minds. The heart does not necessarily need to be dirty before it gets polluted. Your heart grows on what you feed it. This article is not about pastors and their ministries. That's another thing entirely. Sexual sins us on the increase in our society and the reason is not far fetched: WE PRACTICE WHAT WE FEED OUR MINDS ON.
The writer is advocating that we can watch Christian movies to help our heart from being polluted

Health / Re: Understanding Cataracts: Causes, Signs, Prevention And Treatment by treasuremi1(m): 7:21pm On Aug 23, 2020
LimAnc:

Your mums cataract surgery is highly dependent on the control of the glaucoma.
The major aim of glaucoma treatment I to prevent tunnel vision or even comlet loss of vision. This is dependent on the time of presentation of the patient and compliance to prescribed treatments.
The glaucoma is said to be deep and as I said earlier; she can't see with the said eye. She didn't complain before now, but the ophthalmologist said it's been there for about a year. We have since been compliant with the prescribed drugs. We have an appointment on 29th of this month.
Just curious if there will be on operation on both eyes for both glaucoma and cataract or only on the other eye that has been infected with only cataract Thanks
Health / Re: Understanding Cataracts: Causes, Signs, Prevention And Treatment by treasuremi1(m): 6:14pm On Aug 23, 2020
God bless you OP. Timely and educative. My mum couldn't see with one of her eyes and she was diagnosed of glaucoma. The ophthalmologist said it's due to cataract and further tests showed that cataract has spread to the other eye though she can see clearly with that. She's diabetic and above 60.
The doctor prescribed some drugs, eye drops and said we should come back end of this month for further test and possible prep for surgery.
We went to Babcock teaching hospital where someone recommended that has one of the best facilities in Lagos and Ogun state.
1. Will she be operated to treat the glaucoma and remove the cataract from the other eye?
*I went through the thread and you mentioned something like optic/artificial lens.
2. Will that be used for my mum if the glaucoma can not be treated?
Thanks.
Religion / Re: Can I Do A Side Job As A Man Of God? by treasuremi1(m): 4:42pm On Jul 17, 2020
Actually, this forum is not the best place to get a convincing answer. As a young man of God, what is most important is God's divine guidance. God can never be wrong and you need to seek God's guidance in situations like this. God does not leave His children without the guidance from the Holy Spirit.
On the situation at hand, don't expect any spiritual father to tell you to have or not have a side job. God who is leading you into the ministry has the blueprint and plan in His hand if you can trust Him enough to guide you.
I am in a full time ministry and it's not a sin to have a side job. But what is most important is what God is saying.

The A30 Samsung beats RN8 considering the strengths of both devices. However, cost of replacement of Samsung should really be considered. I will go for Samsung though
