People here acknowledged the improvement in the team performance during the previous pre-season games, and said we may need 2 or 3 new player to make the team even better. But seem the board is not ready to meet Carrick demand. I have no worries going into the new season, Carrick qualified us for CL without Santos, Tielemans and Trashford so i am looking forward to same or a better achievement next season. Carrick should sha be bold and unbiased when selecting his team on match days..

Carrick and the coaching staff have to get the boys up to speed before we take on Hull City.

You might be right about Tielemans fitness because he joined the team late in pre-season, but all the players except Lammens had a terrible game today. Cunha and Santos were largely missing in the game, you would wonder if it is same team that played PSG and Leeds with high intensity and good passing. Guess we will find out the level of deficiency after the Hull City game...

Lack of Signings or "Deficiencies" is no excuse for the shambles we displayed today... That team should have been more than enough to dispatch that AC Milan team, taking that manner of humbling from Scamorim is unacceptable.

I don't think our team is good enough to beat Burnley or Wolves, we might need 11 new players to do well next season.

I think Berrada has responded to Carrick's comments - he advised that the club is looking to bring in the right players and not just for the sake of making signings.

Hopefully we don't get to a point in the season where lack of adequate transfer activity would come back to hunt us.

The resources on ground should be enough to dispatch the likes of Hull convincingly.

14 home wins and 10 away would give 72 points atleast . An additional 8 should be enough for a credible title challenge.

We should be looking to ensure that the Hull game is part of the minimum 10 games we win away from home.

If only Mount's leg wasn't make of glass, he really offered pace and energy partnering Santos in midfield. But las Las Carrick selections will play a big part in how well the team plays next season.

We beat Hull convincingly and nobody remembers what happened today.

The Dorgu LW experiment is getting my attention a little bit more as it appears he would be getting a sizeable amount of minutes this season in that role.

That Fella has no business starting as a LW against lowly teams and Carrick should be aware.

I still dey observe because e be like say na there i go get issues with the coach.

He has had private convo on player signings with the board, he has opening ask and part of his demand is a LW. Na nitrogen/board i go get problem with if the board does not do the needful. That said, i also believe the current players is more than good enough to do well this season, provided Carrick is not biased with his team selections...

Carrick will shoot himself in the foot if he is not brave enough to make hard decision, but Bruno is not a liability. He will do his part by providing assist for our forwards. We need a good striker to challenge Sesko and again our forward players must be at their very best this season.

United is not playing to win but rather to find deficiencies, Carrick is passing a message to nitrogen people to sign more players before season starts...

Milan Management and fans won't accept that suffer mantra, his 343 system can only work long term in a small team without much pressure to win trophies.

Let's keep the discussions here focused on the club at least for now. We are on an upward trajectory; we shouldn't be distracted...

Sebi we are asking for the board to sign players now, and even requesting Carrick to do same either through private or public means. When season start and we demand good football and result like any true fan would, some people will be telling us the players are not good enough. They will even say we don't want the Club to sign new players, new players in October, November when transfer window has already closed.
I believe United will cook well this season, i am impressed with the team performance in pre-season games played so far. Still hoping for more signings before season start.

Carrick should put more pressure on the board privately to sign players, season go soon start and several signings still needed.
