obonujoker: Lol... Wetin he won for Utd when he wab win for Portugal 😬 Ronaldo won trophies with Portugal, something great players like Eusebio, Figo, Rui Costa amongst many others did do. Bruno and co should take up the challenge now, Ronaldo said this would be is last tournament, so won't hold back Portugal National team in the next Euros and in 2030.. |

LordAdam16: i am a fan of ronaldo but age has caught up to him he still has the leap and he is still the greatest finisher but he is not that dynamic anymore
i don't even think he had a bad game yesterday it is just that in a wc knockout game, the coach should be able to try different approaches and cr7 made that impossible
i firmly believe the game would have gone to extra time if ronaldo had been subbed off at the 60-70 minute mark
would portugal win? maybe not but at least everyone would have played a role and there will be an acceptance that the team did all it could
instead the game winner against croatia never played a minute of a game that was 0-0 in the 90th minute that makes no sense how many minutes of this world cup did trincao and ramos play?
let me put it simply portugal's wc campaign was a disaster for several reasons i'm not saying it is all on ronaldo personally, i think mendes not being fit played a bigger role in their underwhelming performance and a different coach could have made cr7 stubbornness a moot point
i'm only saying ronaldo's stubbornness made it impossible for them to explore all the many different ways the team could have played
the next coach should sit with the portuguese fa and tie cr7's call-up to willingness to not have veto power over when he starts or is substituted at this point, it is better to lose without ronaldo than to lose with ronaldo yes, we're finally here otherwise, in two years, he will still be demanding he plays 90 minutes against france in the euros at 43 while getting walloped 5-0
-Lord Ronaldo is retired now and won't affect the other players going forward, time for Bruno Fernandes and co to rise and win trophies for Portugal... |

Tinubu and him cronies will loot Naija dry before leaving office in 2031 (if the incoming rubber stamped National Assembly did not amend the constitution to allow him remain in office). |

I guess Carrick didn't rate Hackney that good to push for his signing, i just hope it won't be another case of us missing out on a good player for cheap and then pay crazy money to sign him from Everton years later. |

Okay Mateus Fernandes is worth £80m and United should rap this deal up. He will be priced at £150m if his was an English Player. If will are able to get Tonali too for less than £100m and a proper DM then we will win EPL next season... |

afrodoc: It is true.
After getting Ederson I don’t think we should get both Fernandes and Scott.
Fernandes and a more defensive midfielder would make more sense. I guess this also put Tonali out of the picture, unless we will ditch Fernandes for Tonali and get a proper DM.. |

dreamxhaser: The thing is most players you think are elites are just above average at best. The difference is a good manager, system, and motivation (if the players are ready to give their all to the club).
Some players you think are elite under pep might flop and become mid under Amorim. We have seen examples here at united where players we thought were finished suddenly became better because Carricks system suits them and they were more motivated.
A squad that is made of above average players, with two or three elite players like bruno are capable of winning anything as long as the system suits them, and they are motivated. Well said, Anderson might even struggle at a big club. He is no doubt a good Midfielder, but no where near that valuation. English clubs are just excessively greedy. |

Illimitable: Man Utd have had 12 months to sort out their abysmal midfield. They should be throwing everything at Anderson. He’s worth more than £120m.
When Arsenal signed Rice 3 years ago for £105m, Rice wasn’t this “Anderson” good. We have seen players like Caicedo and Enzo Fernandes with £100m+ fees many years ago. Why is INEOS reluctant to pay the top dollar for an amazing player? Anderson prefers Mancity to us, plus he is no where near what Nottenham Forest are asking. City already had a £124m which include add-on rejected for him, United shouldn't be throwing that kind of money on a players who prefers joining our noisy neighbour.. |

patrickmuf: He wouldn't be a bad choice to be honest.
As for the midfield, we should be going all out for Tonali because it seems City are going to get Anderson. Tonali should be the next midfield signing after Ederson, again weyre Newcastle United will probably price him out of United reach. Will United pay in excess of £100m for him? Another good option is Mateus Fernandes but looks like relegated Westham United is also pricing him too high... |

Leyqute: Hope we won’t be saying the same thing about Anderson a year from now.
I’m always cautious about paying hefty sums for players who haven’t replicated the same level of performance for years. Nobody can truly predict whether a new signing will succeed or not, see Mancity and Grealish. But United should not rush into signing players because they played well last season, even Fergie got it wrong with f signing like Pobosky, Veron, Kleberson and Djemba Djemba etc because of their performance at major tournaments. Fernandes of Westham looks like a solid one, haven't real watch Tonali that much but i hear he is a very good DM too. My fav DM Bruno G sadly may be too old for the Ineos project, but at 29 he can still play a major role and i would be happy if we sign him.. |

Atiku really f'd up big time. He should have supported Obi in ADC. E be like say you don pick HoR ticket under NDC? If Obi had remained in ADC, the party would still be in a sponsored crises today. People in Govt are doing whatever to stop him to contesting, i believe the reason they have failed to cause chaos in NDC is because Seriake Dickson is the the owner and Chairman. |
