At this point it is best to infer that the club has no plans to splash the cash as nothing points to that however, it will be quite sad if they finally do but opt to strengthen any other position but the center of our midfield (DM)

If they can’t listen to a man with 5 Ballon d’Or awards, who then can they listen to? Or they think one can just wake up and gather 5 Ballon d’Or, 5 UCLs and score 800 goals amongst others. Even Manchester United as a club doesn’t have up to 5 UCL titles.

Hate him, dislike him, castigate him all you want. Cristiano Ronaldo’s numbers speak for him. And it takes an elite football mentality to achieve that.

Ronaldo won his first Ballon d’Or at 23, and these ones approaching 25, 26, 27 are still crying for breast milk claiming potential.

The disciplinary level at this club is awful. It always about potential potential potential and years just go by with nothing to show for it. Martial has gone from 19 to 26 and we’re still talking potential.

If these guys don’t have the mentality required to play for Manchester United, get rid of them or enforce the level of discipline they need, not want.

Has his presence hindered the development of others? I think not.

I expected the likes of Rashford, Greenwood and Martial to look up to Ronaldo and get inspired instead Martial wants out because he doesn't want to work his socks off whilst Rashford and Greenwood are hell bent on outshining Ronaldo that's why selfishness has become a mainstay in their games. If I was the coach, I'd make it clear that Ronaldo is the leader in attack and whenever he is on the pitch, they have to play with him or get benched (Poch should do same in PSG)...

I make bold to say that Ronaldo and Messi are still the two best players around with Lewandowski the only player who has stepped up his game to match them as they age.

It irks me to see Ronaldo pressing whilst Greenwood and Rashford will be jogging around. Ronaldo's interview clearly points to what we have echoed here overtime, these young players are overpaid so have little or no motivation to work harder. Imagine someone with the output of Bowen earning as much as Salah and more than Jota, isn't that crazy?

Right from when Ole was here, almost everyone agreed we needed midfielders as a matter of urgency. Ole bought VDB and benched him. Aregbe is doing the same. Meanwhile, our midfield is still in a coma
