This are the apps have installed on my phone so far, pls guys can you identify which of this app consume battery life the most cos I notice my battery doesn't last like before. Also du battery saver suggested I set my screen brightness to automatic, his that ok? I have used greenify to hibernate all the app except NQ Antivirus, Superuser and Du Battery Saver. Thanks and happy independence celebration.

Godvilla: [color=olive]*Copy the apk to a folder on ur device’s SD card, Also make sure you know the path where you have copied it on the SD card.

*Once you have located the required APK in data/app/ on the SD card from root Explorer, tap-and-hold on its icon till u get a menu, and tap ‘Cut’.

*Now press the back button till you reach the internal memory of the device and then browse to /system/app/ and paste the apk.

*Now find the app’s icon in the list of files there and tap-and-hold on it till you get the menu.

*Scroll down in the menu 2 Permissions to bring up the permissions dialog.

*A mount query will pop u, just select Yes 2 grant mount access.

*Make sure everything under ‘READ’ is checked.
Only ‘USER’ is checked under
‘Write’ and nothing is checked under ‘Execute’.
By doing so, u have set the app permission to "rw-r-r"

*REBOOT UR DEVICE AND OPEN BROWSER*[/color]

don't put your fone off and don't turn on USB storage, only USB debugging. make sure you connect pdanet from your PC to phone, but your phone internet data must be on.

milee: Yes, after 3 taping at builder l received a message you are a developer, l went to click USB debunk etc. l connect my phone with USB cable then clicked on run( like l saw in the screen shot) .Then when the next screen came on l tap the enter key on my (window)PC, that is all l got, it just kept writing something's without end and l couldn't see anything happen to my phone or on PC.
Meanwhile, first time l tried data was on on PC. Second time data was off.
l am confused.

you don't need internet connection on your PC but your phone internet data must be on for pdanet to connect with your fone. dis was how I did mine and it worked for me, try it again let's see.

If you have extracted motor chopper and install the pdanet driver on your phone, open the extracted motorchopper and click on run or run.bat if your using windows laptop, click enter key when ask to press any button, after a few minute your phone will reboot and you will have superuser installed. Your phone is rooted. NOTE: make sure your turn on USB debugging on your phone and MAKE SURE YOU DONT TURN ON USB MASS STORAGE. Goodluck

seunpayne: No there wont. However I can't say i'm sure that this version will work on e3. you can try though as this wont spoil your phone but it could spoil your recovery. Check the e3 thread and see if there is a link to get cwm for it.

I already downloaded the recovery.img for e3 on the e3 thread, just wanted to be double sure. Thanks for the reply and keep up the gud work.

Its probably a fake mmc, try to get an original mmc from a reputable store like slot. Enjoy ur gionee and ur weekend.

When you send stuff from your BB or any phone to your e3, pull down the notification bar from the top and accept the transfer. Try it now and give feedback.
