Been reading silently and following up with timelines, so I felt to share to encourage others.

Biometrics: July 1st
Approval: July 9th about 3pm
Study gap: 12 years
Program: MSc
No previous visa refusal

Documents submitted:
- Employment letters and payslips for 3 months
- Cover letter (explaining what I do, reason for study and how it would benefit my career, and how I selected the university/country). May not have been required, but I wanted to make my application as clear as possible
- Professional qualification certificates
- University certificate
- CAS email
- IELTS (only because I had it)
- Bank statement

Happy to answer any questions, and I wish the very best of luck to those waiting

Even the sar stuff you're referring to a lot of people have no idea and when I tried doing it they were requesting for an address in the UK to send it to, did u do urs? What's the

Because as we weren't able to do ours maybe we'll learn from your own experience

Did she do SAR(Subject Access Request) to find out what went wrong with her application... Alot of people just reapply for visa without finding out what went wrong

I don't know oh she had delay last year and withdrew too from her thread

What is up with this ukvi visa delay. I have been waiting for a decision for over 4 weeks now. I did a paid mail and I got a response that my application is under consideration and been worked on. Note: there was no NSF mail, no request for additional documents, no request for interview, and yet no response.

Omo some of the people that got interviewed via University of Portsmouth via zoom call … none of you have been able to help your fellow students… just cause your CAS has been withdrawn.

It’s not fair ooo…. I understand the way you people are feeling right now cuz I felt this way in January…

All we need is guideline but everybody has remained mute : almost everybody got their CAS withdrawn and I want to know why …and what the interview was about.

As for the interview I’m not scared of anything my intentions are purely genuine..I want to understand the logic and tackle it before then (I still did ukvi interview)
I just want to know what is projected via the interview
Anyone can help… loosing money without result is not good atall

I swear it’s annoying me …they said is their new compliance rule…like they have been revoking peoples CAS even people that applied for visa already

I haven't been in the best of moods since last night as I got a refusal mail for my Student Visa, from UKVI yesterday, Even though I have accepted my fate and trying to move on, I still feel cheated by UKVI.

I applied in December for January intake but I had to withdraw my visa application in February due to approaching Cas deadline. And now I deferred to September intake

Biometrics - 23rd June
Refusal mail- 2nd of July
Reason for refusal: incorrect bank statement calculation. So the visa officer didn't deduct my global scholarship of £3,000 from my POF, he only removed my tuition deposit and my required funds was below the minimum due to that error. I already applied for an administrative review today and l'd keep you guys updated .

You guys let me tell you something about ukvi every of their act is very intentional, they respond to you when they want to and when they feel like, no amount of paid calls, paid emails or escalation is going to make them make any decisions faster, I was scammed last year although not by someone in nairaland, so if they've decided to put your application on hold just let them do their thing and just keep praying

Someone said she was given visa after 4 months without interview on Facebook, don't know how true though, it's like sometimes they just play gamble with the whole thing

With ukvi two people will submit the same document, get different processing timelines and different results

So the scammer is profpius?

My friend just got her visa today too

During January intake she was scheduled for interview…she withdrew cuz she couldn’t meet up…she chose GCU in Scotland and got her visa today

Priority visa too
Applied on 25th June

With this their rate of silence interview date will come and go and I might not notice

The truth is even now them still dey do am just reduced to 3/4 months, just that seems like they don't abandon the application totally this time around just get all the information they need and keep the person hanging till the Lord touches them to release decision
