190:I wasn't even aware there was a ban. Gotten them in pharmacies in Lagos, Akure and Abuja recently. Nobody asked me to call my doctor or show a note. I don't know how your area be sha. |
festusfeezy: tank bro, but realy hope no syd effectsBahjallow is right, she might vomit and will have a messed up cycle if it is abused. My friend thought she was pregnant when her period ceased when she abused this drug. Later she thought she had become infertile when she did a pregnancy test. The key thing is use it for emergencies only. |
SniperInADiaper: At least you sound lady like about it ... instead of this girl:Dear Lord that was something |
Here is mine...this past weekend my boyfriend invited me out for dinner with his work colleagues. We had earlier planned to stay indoors and watch a movie , so when he sent me a chat about the dinner because of some new guy who came in from South Africa. I immediately started 2 imagine what I would wear, I finally settled 4 a sheer top,a high waisted fitted pencil skirt and pumps, you know something not too sexy but smart and appealing. I was going to be the only lady there and I didn't want to over do it. So dinner time, the boyfriend came over to pick me with one of his colleagues and a driver. We exchanged pleasantries and as I stretched my right leg to enter the car, that is how I heard PARA! It was the sound of my skirt tearing by the slit, I could feel the breeze blowing my behind and I quickly entered the car but I turned to see if anybody saw what happened. There was this indian guy whose eyes were enlarged, but I hoped that maybe the guy was thinking about something else and didn't see me. it was so embarrassing because I had chosen to wear a g-string because it was a fitted skirt. I was so ashamed I could not even get down from the car and the bf was saying something to the colleague. I had to send his a chat saying I think my skirt tore. I can still remember the look of shock on his face when I shifted to show him. Anyways long story short, he covered up for me when we got to Wakkis. He simply got down 4rm the car, told his colleagues I was going to see a friend nearby and when I reappeared with a gown. He made a joke saying "I see you have done the woman thing and changed" the evening was saved. That didn't stop him from teasing me mercilessly later that I had started buying cheap materials or I was getting too fat Anyways, I would like to know if you have similar embarrassing stories and how were you saved? Or you were not lucky at all? Please share no be only me go don suffer this kind shame now. |
190: i heard postinor 2 is no longer easy to get in medical stores without prescriptionyou can still get postinor 2 at pharmacies. At OP postinor 2 is a very good morning after pill but it is not recommended for frequent use. I know of this government endorsed pill called duofem, very cheap but I hear it works well. You take one everyday at the same time if you sexually active, if you miss a pill you run a pregnancy risk. It is still best to discuss the best form of contraceptive for you with your doctor. |
So Valentine’s Day is around the corner and yeah I know it’s the celebration of love etc but for me it’s an opportunity to dress up and I rarely miss that opportunity! We all know the official colour for Valentine’s is red. Red is a good colour and it is said to be sensual, seductive and appealing to men. Someone even once told me that if a particular product doesn’t sell well, you should repackage it in red and watch how people will pick it up, so in a way adorning yourself with red makes you more attractive. Yes red is the colour of the day, but this does not mean you should go around looking like the blood of Jesus; the key thing is to incorporate red into the outfit and make it work. So I have made up four outfit Ideas that would be perfect for Vals and I thought it will be fun to share. Two are for a date with the special man, one for an outing with the girls and one for the stay at home look. All clothes, shoes and bags were gotten from Jumai.com.ng, they have lovely accessories too but I prefer getting my accessories from glamrus because they have beautiful statement pieces, you can check their facebook page here http://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=322230927878877&refid=46 Look 1 (look below) is all about the red dress and the slight hint of red on the soles and clutch, gives the red feel we are looking for but does not necessarily make us look like a Sango worshipper. Make up: with this look the smokey eye make up would be perfect, it will be tempting to go with the red lips thing but If I was going out on a date for Vals I know I would want soft, sensual and innocent looking kissable full lips, so instead I would go neutral pale colours in matte (Matte lipsticks are the best for kissing). Nails: You can never go wrong with French tips. How Do you get soft kissable lips? Easy just mix a teaspoon of sugar, two tablespoons of honey and few drops of olive oil (you can use Vaseline if there is no olive oil). Scrub your lips gently with the paste, rinse out then apply lip balm before applying the lipstick. If harmattan has finished your lips you need to do the scrub every other day at least a week before vals (men can do it too). Look two (below) is a statement in gold and gold is usually ascribed to goddesses. And yes you can be the Vals goddess by incorporating red accessories. Lovely legs are key for this look so you can perform the sugar scrub on your legs also, then cream with your normal body lotion. Make up: Same as for look 1. Nails: Lace nails will add more glam to this look. Look three (below) is for the night out with the girls if that’s what you want to do, girl fun is key here so going for a soft pink mono strap gown does the trick. Make up: This is where I recommend the bold red lips, you a sexy siren, but remember red lipstick that matches your skin tone. Nails: Red. Look four (below) is the stay home look, this is me right here since I have no date and am not going anywhere. Luckily my sister is back home from school so we will be having Belgian chocolates I saw on dealdey.com, yoghurt, ice cream and then watch a good love movie preferably from Mainframe (if money don finish for cloth na indomie hungry man and coke sha) . My sister would love to watch thunderbolt but we only watch that to remind us men can be horrible when we have a break up, so its Oleku parts one and two for us (movie never gets old). Make up: No make up prefer a facial to pamper myself. Nails: Cracked nail polish. So which vals style are you? And what will you be personally wearing? Any tips I need to know? Please share. Have fun with Vals folks but not too much the next day is a week day.

Well said Ooman . No need to apologise about the rubbishing thing, I didn't feel you rubbished God, I only pointed that by rubishing something you don't believe doesn't automatically make you right or smarter. As I said earlier finding God is a journey, my own personal experiences to this point have led me to believe there is a God while yours have led you to conclude there is none. I don't have a problem with that but what I have a problem with is the fact that everybody must accept your own convictions and whosoever doesn't is brainwashed. Just because I like chocolate doesn't mean everybody must take it even if they are allergic to it.About recycling, I pointed that out cos in previous replies, you seem to be bent on saying energy was your bitch and you use it as you please, was just pointing out that it will claim you in the end. And this Exodus 21 thing, slavery didn't pick up because of some bible passage, in my many years of reading Aduboahen and co writings on slavery especially in West Africa and Nigeria this has not been stated as a major influencer of slavery. Please read this link http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/christianity/history/slavery_1.shtml I didn't say slavery was eradicated by christains, loads of people helped to abolish slavery including christains. If you show me a christain that partook in slavery I can show you an atheist who did. If you show me an atheist who detested slavery I can show you a christain who did also. For example William Wilberforce was very instrumental in abolishing slavery in England and was voted against by James Dawkins an atheist. Unfortunately people will die because of Malaria etc that does not mean developed countries don't have death causes. I agree that we should find a way to develop ourselves more as Africans but I totally disagree that it is because of a religion like christainity that is not making us to do so, that is an excuse because I know we are humans, even if your utopian society comes to be, there will still be something that people will talk about is a problem, there will still be oppression, people will still die etc. In your words " I can't help you." because you are strongly convinced that Christainity is a monster and it must be slayed and you are one of the soilders. I am happy that you have chosen a worthy cause but I beg you have mercy on those of us that are delusional and choose to believe in a God. ooman: Sorry if you felt i rubbished someone (Your God), but he is non existing entity so it doesnt matter what we sy about him. |
@ OP I really like your thinking and your passion for Africa but yet there are some places where I think you miss it? I am christain true but I won't base what am writing here on proof that there is a God because I think finding God is a personal journey. I for one was born into christainity lasped into atheism and doubt then back to christainity and that is where I am staying. I am not a science person so most of your theories are lost to me but am a history and human existence person so I will pick points from there. Firstly you rubbishing the existence of a God does not make you automatically smarter, it just means you have elected not be submissive to an idea that you feel will limit you. You keep saying you manipulate energy, you are the master of energy, so when your heart stops and energy recycles you what next my dear are you still master? Then there is something somewhere there in the comments section saying Christainity licensed the slave trade because it is in the bible, darling slavery has existed in Africa and most parts of the world before then, there was even a slave trade called the trans-saharan slave trade before the coming of the Europeans. Has it ever occured to you that this same christainity was also used to stop slavery? Then you said the more you worship God the less successful you become, then you give examples the preachings of prosperity pastors of how Jesus multiplied bread. Leaving out conveniently parts of the bible that clearly states that there is dignity in labour and my personal favourite the parable of Mr Complainer (Parable of talents). The thing is if you want to be succesful and you do not work you are own your own. Even Solomon (history says he exists) the richest man in the Bible made use of his wisdom knowledge and understanding. Again if you want money and financial success, you apply the principles of money and sucesss, if you want the spiritual spiritual success which I believe is where religion comes in you apply the principles of the spiritual. Christainity is not the problem of Africa, Europe before now even used Christainity as an excuse for expansion and development especially during the rise of the Ottoman Empire. The truth is religion used in a certain way can promote growth and Atheism which you proudly defend can also bring in stagnation. Everything is in our hands. If a Religious person is lazy and does not work he reaps the benefits, if the Atheist is lazy and does not work he reaps the benefits and vice versa. |
