TheGreat342: What advice do you need exactly? It seems everything was clearly spelt out. Like as been said on this forum countless times, if you know someone in the US, have the i20 mailed to them so they then mail it to you in Nigeria. If not, just go ahead and pay for the stuff. I personally recommend using a courrier service that allows you to track your package. By the way, congrats! |

Having been declared dead in Australia, why was his corpse taken back to India? Why didn't they take his corpse to Nigeria? 6 Likes 2 Shares |
Religion / Re: "Do I Have To Confess My Adultery To My Spouse?"- Christian Perspective by triplecare(m): 2:03pm On Jun 04, 2017 |
Thanks, OP, finally a true Christian. I read on the last thread how many supposed Christians were advising the adulterous woman not to confess claiming that God has forgiven her hence no need to confess to her husband. Are you guys even serious, this just opened my eyes to why religion is a big problem in Nigeria and perhaps Africa as a whole. We simply use religion to perpetrate evil. You broke the vow you made to the man to love him and him only before God and man, and you couldn't keep that vow, yet you want to continue to live with him dishonesty. I am not even a religious fellow yet I know that every single day you live with him is a lie, every smile to him is a lie, every kind gesture you extend to him is a lie since you have broken your marriage vows. In the western world, many pagans/atheists have confessed their infidelity to their partners, because they couldn't live with it but BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS here are saying God has forgiven her and hence, she doesn't need to ask for forgiveness from her husband. So when let's assume the husband finds out on his own, what will she tell him? That she has prayed for forgiveness and God has forgiven her? If you don't confess to him, you have not truly repented, you will only kill your conscience, and soon you will find yourself committing adultery again and again, until you won't feel bad about it again. That voice in your head telling you to confess is the voice of God, the one telling you otherwise is that of the devil. People have been forgiven for weightier offenses, marriages have been broken because of lighter issues so don't just assume. I am not saying it is going to be easy, but as a good human being, it has to be done. NB: On the oyinbo people thread, the Christians advised her to confess to her husband On our Nigerian thread, most Christians are advising her to hide her dishonesty to save her marriage Doesn't this tell you something about our kind of religionism? 18 Likes 1 Share |
Family / Re: I Cheated On My Husband And I Want To Confess To Him by triplecare(m): 3:08am On Jun 04, 2017 |
The question shouldn't even be whether she should confess or not because she has to confess. The issue is how should she go about it? She sinned against God and her husband but only confessed to God - because we can't see God. You will continue to be a fraud until you confess to your husband. I can't even believe religious folks are trying to justify this using the Bible. See if know you're truly repentant, you must be ready to face the consequences, if not you're just looking for people to make you feel better, you won't until you do the right thing which is to confess to him. Whether he forgives you or not, whether the marriage remains or not, is up to him, maybe he will send you packing OR maybe he will resent you for some time, maybe he will respect you for coming out. BUT...if he finds out from another source... |

2SWT: Must everything be about money? ..in your world? This is one of the reasons we don't grow in this country. Don't let money take control of your reasoning ability. I am certain even Adesua would be interested to know what people think. If I am successful, I would want to know what I am doing right, and not get soaked up in the success. Feedbacks like this if taken in good faith can help her grow/improve on herself. It can also help us understand our society better. Just state your opinion and move on. Just so you know I am making money for myself as well? I am. Thanks 19 Likes |
Celebrities / Adesua Etomi - Does She Have The Pretty Privilege? by triplecare(m): 9:28pm On May 20, 2017 |
I have only ever seen her in Wedding Party and I didn't think she killed her role - her acting didn't meet the hype. I even felt Banky W who is new to acting played his role better than she did her role - and the same thing goes for other casts; Beverly Nyanya, Ikechukwu, to exclude the veterans Many times we hear of beauty being a curse, but in her case, is it a privilege?. Is Adesua Etomi really a great actress or is she getting a pass because she is pretty? PS: I am just sourcing objective opinions, not hating.

Loretta is one very very funny babe. Imagine she says the world has changed! Everythin is monetised including relationships!!!!!!!! Lol. So tell me what do you call someone who monetises relationship/sex? Call a spade a spade sis....such a person is an ASHEE. I have a girl who doesn't demand a dime from me. She believes she's not my responsibility until we married. Now that is a non-ashee. I still buy things for her once in a while though but I'm never pressured into thinking my gifts are the things keeping her with me. Any lady who doesn't and can't do this is a SEMI-ASHEE to euphemise 11 Likes |

According to this thread ,who is a prostitute? 1. A woman who has more than 1 lover at a particular time. 2. A woman who considers financial gains as a factor before going into relationships. 3. A woman who cheats on her lover. 4. A woman who has sexual intercourse with a man for the purpose of receiving money, gifts, favour, promotion etc in return. Going by this simple definitions, not all women are prostitutes but MANY are. 6 Likes |
Romance / Re: How Do I Tell My Best Friend I Have Feelings For Her by triplecare(m): 11:12pm On Dec 01, 2013 |
Telling ur friend u like her is one of the hardest things to do, but watching another person ask her out and date her will you hurt forever. Which would you prefer? Your friend feeling you're not bold enough to ask her out OR Your friend feeling you found her attractive enough to ask her out. I guess d latter is better. Even if she says NO, trust me you'd be happy you tried. And it doesn't have to affect your friendship if she is mature enough 1 Like |
