The MERRYBET LEAGUE 2016 has officially started.

Today marks the beginning of Week 1.
All game selections on your betslip must end before 25th Sept, 2016 11:59pm.
All bets slips must be dropped today between 1pm & 6pm.

MERRYBET-PfP LEAGUE 2016.(FINAL AMENDMENT)

- The league will start on Monday, 19th Sept. 2016 and will run for 13 weeks ONLY.
- The week used will run from a Monday to Sunday every week.
- Each participant is entitled to one slot per week.
- Any slot unused cannot be carried over to another week.
- There will be no rounding-up of ODDS. (2 decimal places will be used eg. 5.98, 2.53)
- Any slot within each week will expire on Sunday 11:59PM on each week.
- Each participant in the league must make sure that all events/bets within each week on his betslip must END on/before every Sunday 11:59PM
- The league table will be posted every Wednesday within the week.



STEPS TAKEN TO AVOID UNNECESSARY DUPLICATION.
- Each participant MUST post his betslip/game selections (which must contain your bet number)on the thread every Monday in every new week(unless stated otherwise) between 1:00pm & 6:00pm.
- You are advised to follow the usual format when posting your betslip/game selection.
- Please, you are advised to post your betslip, NOT earlier than 1:00PM & NOT later than 6:00PM on a Monday.


PENALTIES
- Failure to post your betslip/game selection btwn the stipulated timeframe(1pm - 6pm).....you will LOSE your slot for that week. No excuse will be tolerated.

- If any other sharp practises from any participant is noticed/reported, you will NOT like the severity of the penalty, so I advise all to desist and stay the true course of this tournament.

Q & A:
Q: I understand that cos of the timeframe of submission, contestants might be asking whether they can choose events that happen on Monday, being 6:00PM is the cut-off time for submitting betslips/numbers.

A: YES. They can choose events that happen on Monday so far the betslips/numbers have been posted and the event/game has not started prior to the posting of the slip within the timeframe.

Q: How would you know if the person submitted his betslip/number within the stipulted timeframe.
A: All Nairaland posts have a timestamp attached to each post and that is what is going to be used.

Q: Can I play smart during the league by trying to beat the measures put in place to avoid cheating.
A: YES, you can play smart if you wish NOT to go the length of the 13 weeks in the league.
