This match go sweet die, I pity for people wey go bet

Without doubt if we go head to head man city pass us.

But what I like about my Liverpool is that if you mistakenly let us score 2 goals then bye bye for you.

I am happy de bruyne is not starting because that guy together with Sterling is bad news.

Anyways we got the best forward combination in the epl.

My friend, honour based violence is a serious issue in the UK and there is even a helpline for it as well a number of projects.Tunisia has never really been an extreme muslim country and I have also been there on holiday. It does not mean every single family has the view but its a serious issue that is getting worse by the year. I work with young people and go into schools in every London borough. This has even directly effected some young people my organisation works with. The UK is not an extremist muslim country but many communities and families have extreme muslim views on family honour which are defended fiercely.

This issue is Really Bad, But we are all humans na why such cruelty? embarassed

Londoner,
Thank you so so much for buttressing my point and your post on honour killing. All I could deduce from his posts on the opposite gender was seex, seex and seex. Whether he was joking or not, the posts didn't seem like such.

As a female, I get irritated when I read comments by males objectifying the woman body.

cheesy cheesy I was stating my observation, and like someone said im an 18 year old virgin Gushing with hormones,
I remember back in secondary school when girls in ss2 and ss3 tighten their skirts and start applying subtle makeup to get attention from Boys soo both sexes OBJECTIFY each other , even females objectifying themselves . I dare you to check the Front page and tell me that you wont see a post about a woman dressing seductively to get attention online. i'll wait...... smiley

I lived in the UK for 7 years so I kind of have an idea of how things work there. Even in London, you can get extra pay for living in a bigger city. London wages are higher than manchester wages so you can sometimes save as much as someone living in mancs.

You are right about the higher minimum wage in London compared to the rest of UK.
But the influx of immigrants every year, makes getting SOME jobs difficult, because an employer will rather hire someone willing to take the 7.8 pounds an hour instead of the minimum wage of 9.15 thereby Messing everything up.

It depends on the job though,

The average pay for a family Physician in Canada is around 160k to 300k depending on Province. Most will end up in the mid 250s. Specialists make on the higher end. 300k and up.

While converting to Naira, it's not also easy as it looks. Nigerian Drs do not probably have mortgage payments of $4k/months or car finances of $2k per month

Bro, let's say I got the wrong info from Google, as the picture below shows.

But if you read what I wrote again, I converted Canadian dollar to naira, I did not compare the living conditions for both.
that aside , doctors do have to pay back their student loans which can range from 150,000 and above..

The compulsory payments are the student loans and tax, health insurance utilities e.t.c.

Things such as housing and transportation differs, and like someone stated the white likes to spend.

But if after everything a doctor abroad saves 3k a month from his salary.
That's 3000 x 267. 6= 802,789.26.
800,000 in savings is bigger than the 250,000 average monthly salary in Nigeria don't you think? undecided.

You can definitely save in the UK too. Much would depend on your location within the UK. The tax in the UK and living expenses in Canada is very similar. I lived in Manchester and saved a substantial amount of money even when I worked survival job there. I also had a ghanaian friend that studied and funded himself through his MSc and Phd all from savings earned from his night security job.

Bro in London where I stay the rent is expensive, and like you said it depends on where you stay.
I said if you make exactly what OP makes( converted to pounds) , you won't save as much as him because of the expenses especially rent. I did not say you can't save.

You said you may fulfil your dream of dating an Arabian. Your definition is not correct Honour based violence or killing is not even as far as taking virginity without marriage. Dating the girl alone can be seen as a dishonour to the family.

It's not just the father, often it's the mother, brothers and sisters who order or carry out the killing. There are also males that get harmed too.

Look it up before you find yourself or a girl in pepper soup my dear.

Thanks bro,

Good day everyone, what I'm going to say may be very long but please bear with me.

I recently relocated to London (I created a thread on it with pictures)

https://www.nairaland.com/4846220/im-traveling-london-follow-me

I was happy seeing this post today and let me share MY opinion.

it is normal to get skeptical of Op claims because we are 9ja we know ourselves but since he has not asked for anything or sold an e-book yet this seems legit
I researched his story and figures ...

Yes it is possible to save this much if he really works as hard as he says

Yes it is true that most don't save as much abroad especially whites due to credit card expenses, school loans, housing, car loans, and catching fun e. t. c

Here in the UK, if I make the equivalent of what Op is making I won't be able to save much, because the cost of living is very expensive.
that's why most of you don't hear from your relatives abroad.
so it depends on the place,
it is easier to save in Canada and USA than in UK though the only advantage is that Pounds ( uk currency ) has higher power than the others.

So to fully change some doubters mind please can you take some pictures of Canada and hold a paper of nairaland written on it ( please don't show your face).
though this is optional

and congratulations to your mom her story inspired me.

PS: the average Nigerian doctor makes 250,000 naira a month.
the average doctor in Canada makes $ 28,166.6 Canadian dollars a month

convert
1 CAD= 267.60 Naira
28,166.6 x 267.6 = 7,537,382.16

7.5 million per month that's why Nigerian doctors are coming here

Good to hear you're not that type then (side eye) but when people start mentioning Tuface we all know he is not known for talking to girls but his children with different women.

TroublemakerPro:

Omo ee no easy oooo cry cry
You will see a 15 year old girl looking like mercy Johnson ( Jamaicans, Ghanaians, Somalians and South Africans in church ) and since I'm 18 I Can't shine my teeth at them or na jail straight.

I think I may fulfill my dream of dating an Arabian or Indian .
everyone here are just too open about sex because the age of consent ( legal knacking age) is 16 years and most parents are not strict because believe it or not if you beat any child here na jail straight ooo. shocked

Most people know me as a bad boy in Nigeria but since the people I grew up with were important members in church so I was taught good morals (thankful for that).

But thank God say dem no born me here because 2baba no go reach waitin I go do oooo grin grin

Oga if you read the bolded statement well you won't bring up this point seff smiley

It applies to quite a few circumstances ranging from forced marriage all the way to violence against those involved in a relationship that the family (usually Muslim) disapproves of because they find it dishonourable to the family or culture/religion. In relation to a relationship the op (a Black boy) may pursue with an Asian girl which he hopes will lead to the bedroom but he is possibly opening himself (and especially the girl)to violence from the family or even death.

Many people in the UK have been killed due to "honour based" violence.

Just type in "honour based killings" into YouTube or Google.

Chai oga I no fit lead woman to bed oooo, I'm still a virgin grin grin, I was thinking of dating (possible marrying one).
