ebony4life:That Hauwa is NOT a friend, if it was my wedding I would have bounced her. What nonsense! I have been to invite only weddings - when a mutual friend wanted to come to one, I politely explained to her that she couldnt cos it was IV only, she accepted that and the conversation turend to othe matters. Simple! How can you spoil someone's special day like that? ![]() @ ebony4life, - sorry o! my friend LOCKED the hall until she and the groom came from shurch, and she had bouncers to MAKE SURE that uninvited guests couldnt come in. (but she's crazy like dat! ) |

cotton101 " Imagine the beating i received when I finally reported him to his family and my own - he even told me I had dug my own grave that day when he found out. " What? You mean to tell me that you were not even allowed to break up with him? I thank God you finally found the strength. May He continue to strengthen you. |

Ahem! Ladies and Gents, please prepare for a pop quiz! Question 1 – which is the worst thing that you can wish on a loved one? A – break up of relationship B – divorce C – illness and eventual early grave Question 2 – when a person exhibits certain behaviours before marriage, after saying “I do” he is more likely to: A – miraculously do a 180 degree change and become a saint B – continue as he was and even get worse Question 3 – when you hide serious problems from your tight knit family who love you and will support you no matter what: A – something is very wrong and you know it B – everything is just perfect Me, I know the answers I would choose. What about you? |
Ok your wife was very disrespectful! The typical Naija man would have brought out a suitcase at least, whether or not he actually packs it for her. But speaking as a (married) woman, while not condoning her actions, I understand where she is coming from. Before you jump on me NLers, hear me out!!! Now, (1) there is already tension in the house (2) a text came from a woman (a) late at night, (b) calling you teddy bear. (3) You REFUSE to call her there and then to tell her off. (4) You laugh at her when she called the other woman. (5) You did NOT call the other woman to berate her for disrespecting your wife To the typical Naija woman, this = AFFAIR!!!! I will not put up another man’s picture in my house, but I can assure you OP, my husband berra have a good explanation for such a text. Why did your wife call her and put up another man’s picture? Because by refusing to tell off that ashawo (yes she’s a shameless hussy), by refusing to understand when your wife called the woman, you have endorsed ashawo’s actions and have implied to your wife that you are being unfaithful. I don’t know either of you, but I think she needed re-assurance that you love her and you were still faithful. When she didn’t get that re-assurance, she was really hurt and wanted to show you how much you hurt her by hurting you back. If tables were turned and your wife had received the text, how would you feel? I can tell you here and now, the man that will text me and call me a term of endearment will do it only once and not repeat it, because I would have corrected him immediately. Teddy bear Late at night Not even a work related text – but “sleep tight”? Yeye husband snatcher, may she end up in Hell , pteew!!! ![]() And YOU!!! Yes you the OP! - When did you intend to deal with the matter? You think throwing your wife out (whether pregnant or with a child) is “dealing with the matter”? You crossed the line by having dat piece of nonsense as a friend. “She calls you teddy bear” ehn Oshi! What does your birth certificate say? That is the ONLY name by which she and every colleague/client should address you. O boi, not saying your wife is perfect, but if your marriage breaks down, it is partly your fault because you should know when to draw the line and know where your priorities lie. If you want to remain married I suggest both of you learn to communicate and respect each other. BTW – chaircover: you should take a job as a marriage/guidance counsellor or therapist. I’ve read many of your mails and you have a lot of sensible things to say. Please keep it up. |
