LiteratureRe: Hurtful Pleasures by true2(m): 8:45pm On Nov 06, 2012
senbonzakura_kageyoshi: I put one foot forward. Then another. Then the previous one. Then the other. With each step I took, my heart seemed o beat louder in my chest, like a performance of a star gangan drum player. I could now see the door. It loomed large ahead of me despite the fact that it was still quite a few steps away. It was not a very big door. Actually it was quite regular sized but with the way I was feeling, everything seemed to be much bigger than before.

I put another foot forward. Just a few more steps and I would be there.

“Stop!” yelled a voice in my head. “Go back! Go back now! You can’t go through with this.”

“No, no, no, no,” a different voice, this one gentle and soothing and not sounding as insistent as the previous one countered. “Go on. You know you want it. You know you can’t do without it.

I stopped. Was it so bad that I couldn’t do without It?

“Yes,” aid the first voice. “It’s that bad. Now turn around and go back to the sitting room. Watch TV. It will take your mind off it. Just don’ try to go through with this.”

The other voice laughed softly. “We both know you’re not going back. We both know that you can’t resist. Why not save our time and go get it over with already?”

And like a robot, I found myself walking the rest of the distance to the door. Now I was a the door, a door I have stood before so many times but I’ve never felt as guilty standing before it as now. I wanted to go back, goodness knew I did. But I felt like I had been programmed and nothing I tried or did wuld prevent me from doing what I came here to do.

My hand stretched towards the door but just before it made contact, I snatched it back. What was I thinking? How could I even consider it? After how much pain it had caused me the previous time. And here I was, about to make the same mistake again. I can’t, I thought. I can’t do this.

But my body was thinking differently and before I could turn around and head down the corridor, my hand reached out to the door and, before I could snatch it back again, pushed it open.
The lights inside the room had been switched off but rays of light from the corridor illuminated the room, if only slightly. It was however enough for me to see him lying on the bed, sleeping like a baby and I sighed softly. He looked so angelic in his sleep and I couldn’t help smiling, a sad smile though. Would he want me to do this? How would he react if he even knew what I was thinking? What would he think of me thereafter? My mind was in turmoil and I just stood there in the doorway looking into the room, unable to decide whether to go on or go back.

“Go back!” the first voice cried. “Go back now! It’s for the best. It’s for your own good.”

“You’ve come this far,” the second voice said. “You might as well go the whole way. What you came for is right there for the taking. Why turn back now?”

I nearly groaned at my indecision. Why could something so wonderful cause so much pain and confusion? A small chill came over me and I wrapped my dressing gown tighter around me.

Then I saw “it” and I knew there was no going back. The only way I would be leaving the room was after I’ve had it inside me. I stepped into the room and pushed the door shut behind me. It made a small creaking sound as it slowly swung shut but I didn’t hear the final “click” meaning it didn’t shut completely. Consequently, the ray of the light from the corridor was now diminished to a thin line but still it was enough to keep me seeing it and I was filled with an intense, burning desire. I had seen it before, while he was taking a bath and even then I had been consumed with longing. I had to pull on all my reserves of self control to get what I had come to get in his room and leave without doing anything else.

I crossed the distance to the bed quickly but quietly. It helped that a soft rug covered the floor and muffled my steps. I stood beside the bed and looked down at him. He was breathing softly, still sleeping, and still looking as angelic as ever. A pang in my heart that hurt told me to have second thoughts. But I had made up my mind and there was no going back now. I sat gently on the bed and felt my heart freeze as the sheets rustled under me. He didn’t move and I breathed easier. I sat there for a few seconds. Then I moved closer to him. Then closer….then even closer……now were almost but not quite touching and I could hear his breathing loud and clear. It was so close to me now, loomed so large and real that I couldn’t wait any longer. I reached out my hand to touch it….hold it….nearly now…..almost touching it……

“Nice try,” a male voice said. “But I’m still awake.”

My hand froze over my target, the thin box of chocolates on the table at the other side of the bed, practically right beside the bed. Crap, I thought. How did I ever think I would lean over him to get the chocolates and he wouldn’t wake up? He slept like he didn’t sleep. The slightest movement and my husband would be up like a shot and I realized the venture was a failure from the start. He probably knew when I stepped into the room and just pretended to still be asleep. The cunning man!

“You probably saw it while I was in the bathroom,” he said, swiping the chocolates out of my reach. “I’m surprised you didn’t take it then. How many times do I have to remind that the dentist said you should stay away from chocolates and sweets of any kind? The last time you snuck one, you were here beside me wailing like a bush baby. Now you want to sneak another one. I’m not prepared to console anybody o!”

I groaned and chucked a pillow at him. He dodged it and laughed.

“You should really lay off the chocolates honey; they could make you really fat.”

“Ah, come on,” I replied. “I’ve had chocolates since forever. How come I never got fat?”

“You may get fat now,” he countered. “Then you’ll be like Mrs. Biola.” Mrs. Biola was our extremely fat neighbor that my husband had once joked looked like rhino on two feet.
I flung the other pillow at him and play-angrily stalked out of the room.

“You’ll thank me for this later,” he called from behind me. “If you’re feeling munchy, I think there’s a box of salted crackers in the kitchen!”

Crap, I thought. I hate crackers! I was about taking the stairs down to the sitting room to continue watching TV when I remembered. My sister had visited earlier in the day and had bought my ten year old son, Francis, a box of chocolates. I was quite sure he hadn’t touched it. Now if I could just borrow a piece...

So instead of taking the stairs, I turned and headed for Francis’ room at the other end of the corridor. I was very nearly at his door when my husband’s voice came again.

“Don’t even bother!”

I turned around to see him wafting Francis’ box of chocolates in the air. How in the world had he known I would think of that?

“Looking for this?” he asked.

“Er….erm…er, no, I just wanted to check if he is asleep,” I stuttered out.

“Ehn, I know. Please take all the time you want.”

I groaned again.

“Out of pillows to throw?” he asked.

One of my soft rubber slippers sailed through the air and hit the rapidly closed door. From where I stood, I could hear him laughing.

Crap, I thought for the third time in probably as many minutes. I’ll have to buy my personal stash. No chocolates tonight. Have to be the crackers then. They’re not that bad anyways…….

inurmind: Its hilarious to note that the people who tried to defend Jesus had to misquote the bible.

J12 said jesus went to hell: J12 pls where in the bible does it say that? Even ur fellow christian, frosbel can explain to that once u die u stay dead, until ur ressurection that is.

@True? said jesus sacrificed his seed. Lol.... So Jesu Christi was castrated when he died or what? Please do not twist the bible to suit your peculiar imagination. Even I as an atheist has never done that. Nothing of such was mentioned in the bible which u claim to have all answers.

Please christians stop twisting the bible. Its pretty lame and annoying.
Or do u want ur sky daddy to strike u with thunder for being blasphemous?
Oops! I forgot, he is ever merciful and u are ever sinful.
Sky daddy? You have no fear of God. As to the seed, when a man dies, his seed dies with him. If you do not believe in God, why are you posting on this thread?
I do not claim to have all the answers, but I have one reguarding you...you are in a world of trouble.
LiteratureSo...your Family And Friends Said..."you Should Write A Book." by true2(op): 4:03pm On Nov 06, 2012
New writers spend too much time writing, and not enough time learning how to write.
Spend 100% of your time learning English spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
There are ten million rules to writing, and as many tricks…learn them.
Read one good book a week. Take the stories apart, and learn how the authors constructed their work.
Every story I have read on this forum are works, if properly constructed would sell.
Take this to heart; “Poor writing, does not sell.” Agents and Publishers will not make corrections in your work.
Don’t fool yourself into thinking because you have a great story it will be read. If your story is not built correctly, no one will read beyond the third sentence.

Would you just jump into an airplane, and take off without first learning how to fly?

plaetton: Big lie. You do not serve god out of love. What love? Have you finished loving your fellow human beings and the creatures of the earth?
chrstians always claim that the ways of god are a mystery to man.
How can you then claim to love god, who just happens to be a mystery?

Whether you admit it or not, you believe or serve your notion of god simply out of fear what you might not get from him, or what he might do to you.
God is not a mystery. Those who serve him do not do it out of fear, nor for what they can get. You are correct, I do not love Gods creations more than the creator. Who are you to call me a lier? Who are you to tell me what I know? You who know nothing about me. You puff, and brag about things you know nothing about. You puff, and you puff for the admiration of those you follow. It is the fool who follows the foolish.

cyrexx: is that all you can do for your rebuttal to my post?

Are you throwing the white flag already and running away before we even get started? Maybe you are expecting a hookline-and-sinker approach of your place of worship from us. Sorry to be dissapointed. We are rational thinkers, not gullible and fearful accepters of hogwash called religion.

The so-called soldiers of christ knows nothing of the origin of their christianity and will always run away when their faith is challenged and questioned, yet they will always want to push their faith on everyone and pronounce "doom" on those that question their faith.

Bunch of schizophrenics.
You join a rebellion you know nothing about. You will have victory; you will eat grapes, sweet fat with honey, and drink wine mixed with blood. Your days will be bright, your joy of victory filled with song. The sun and the moon will darken. The stars will fall from the heavens. The earth will shake beneath the feet of the dead. The dead will curse, and the dead will eat the flesh of the dead. A loud sound as never heard by man will fill the emptiness of space. Out of kindness of the living God, the wicked will be no more, as if they had never existed.
Christianity EtcRe: The Doom Of Atheists!! by true2(m):
I believe in God because he can be proven to be. I am not going to heaven. You know nothing about how to prove there is a God. You know nothing about how to prove the Bible is true. Christians serve God out of love, not fear of death. Your kind say christians kill millions in war. Many say they are christian, the truth is, christians do not go to war, nor do they kill for any reason. Christians do not have to defend God against attacks like yours...he's a big boy, watch how he defends himself. You won't like it. So puff yourself up, and have your day. Say, and do what every you want...it will be short lived.

Te difference between an atheists, and a religionist;

If the atheists is correct, nothing more will happen to the religionist that will happen to
the atheists.
If the religionist is correct…the atheists is in a world of trouble.
Christianity EtcRe: Jehovah's Witnesses; The Ideal Christian! by true2(m): 10:07pm On Nov 04, 2012
I have stated on other threads, I am not a part of, nor believe there is a religion God has approved of. I am a sinner, servant of the God Yahweh, not the smartest thing North or South of Latitude 0, but I make an effort to learn what I comment on…before I open my mouth.

I knew many Jehovah’s Wittiness in the past. Most to my knowledge were good people. I have also known some I think were bad.
Their teachings are 60% in line with the Bible. There are some sections of the Bible that have been changed ( before they printed their own ) they have not corrected.
The main body of Elders claim to get their information of coming events from God, via prayer. This they have claimed since 1877. I find not one of their prophecies has ever come true. This put a red flag up for me. They claim they are known by Gods name, Jehovah’s Wittiness. Gods name is; Yahweh. Yahweh can not be translated into Jehovah in any language. This raised a second red flag for me.
They have his name wrong, and their prophecies have never come true. Outside of those two major things, their teaching is pretty good for those beginning to learn who God is.

I examine religions by this standard; do they have one, or more major false doctrines? If the answer is yes, I know they are not from God.

There are three simple things Satan uses; The lie, sex, and the need for sheep like people to gather with other sheep. He keeps using these three things because they work.
Ask any religion if they are the true religion, and they will shout, “Yes.” They will also say other religions are false. Some now say, “They are all Gods religions.” When people try to find God in a religion, and see red flags, they go to other religions. When they again see red flags, the lose belief in God.
God says the nations will destroy Babylon the Great, the false religions of the world.
God Yahweh says, “Get out of them my people.”
Does your religion have one, or more major red flags?

Medics07: Atheists.. This is for you, you can take this as your devotion, but my intention is not to condemn u people, but to cause you see the light, you destiny, if you dont repent..

''For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all the ungodliness of men, who suppree the truth in unrighteousness. Because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without EXCUSE. Because although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor where thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened, professing to be wise, they became fools,..''Rom 1:18-22''

The Word of the Living God had said it all. But why would someone decide to bite the hand the feds such a one?, why would you turn around to insult and trample the grace of God underfoot?, no wonder the bible says 'a Fool says in his heart there' s no God'. A loving Father sent His son to come and die inorder to reconcile you to Him, you didn't deserved it, but He did it because He loves you, this is the greatest truth in the universe, better believe it before you shall say 'had I known when it must had been too late.' I weap for you, pls give Christ a chance.
I am a servant of God. I am a sinner, and like Jesus said, I could not be good if I wanted to…but like all of Gods servants, I try.

The people you are addressing may be good people, or bad. It is not our position to read them either way…only God can read the heart.

We have been given the assignment to preach the Good News of the Kingdom to those who want to hear it, and if they want, help them become disciples.

Those who do not want to hear it, or have stated their position against God and his laws…we are to kick the dust from our feet, and walk away.

Take mind to this; John 6:44 It is God who chooses who he wants. No one can chose God.
Take care you do not anger God in your effort to convert those he has not chosen.

As to Defending God...do you really think he needs us to do that? Let those who are against him do and say what they want...all people will Identify their heart condition to God, and that is what he wants.
Christianity EtcRe: What Did Jesus Sacrifice? by true2(m): 3:55pm On Nov 04, 2012
Your question is one all Christians should ask. It is a very intelligent question. God says to reason out the scriptures. It is obvious that is what you are doing, reasoning out the scriptures.
Please allow reason to expand on your question. Jesus said, “I have come to die.” Why? As you stated, three days is not much of a death. There has to be more, something over looked.
We know he was a perfect man. He was without the sin mankind inherited from Adam.
The inherited sin is the expansion of your question. For now let us stay with the first part of your question…what was the sacrifice?

As a perfect man without Adams sin, Jesus could have brought forth perfect children without Adams sin. Jesus could have spawned a new human race without Adams sin. In truth, Jesus had in his seed, a perfect un-born human race.
It was this un-born human race that was sacrificed, for our present race. It had to exists in a living perfect body, and die.
That is the reason Jesus was only dead for a short time.
Please read; Genesis 3:14, and 15. This is what the complete Bible is about, The issue, and rebellion of one third of the angels against God Yahweh.

Please do not take what I have written as truth, but go to God, and ask him to give you a clear understanding…he will.

When you understand what God teaches on the death of Jesus, then reason, and prove out, “what was the sin Adam and the women did,
and why Adam named the women Eve after she gave birth to Cain.

When you come to understand this second part of your question, Gods complete written word becomes clear…and indeed, the truth will set you free.
Christianity EtcRe: Be An Atheist For Twelve Days by true2(m): 5:41am On Nov 04, 2012
Hmmm? Lets see. I’m not to smart, so help me reason this out. If I’ve never done it, I can’t really understand how the other guy feels…is that correct?

Here are some things I have never felt;

Murder. I have never killed anyone.

I’m a man so I’ve never been a LovePeddler. In truth I do believe men who sell their bodies are also whores.

I have never turned my back on God.

Have never stood in front of a speeding train, jumped off a cliff, run a car into a tree at 100mph, shot myself in the mouth, and a million other things I have never done…so don’t know how those who have feel.

One think I have done…I have learned Gods word, tested, and reasoned it out. I believe with my every breath in God, his written word, and that I am a sinner. I do not follow any religion of man.
To accept your reasoning (challenge) would be the act of a fool. I know there are many who will follow your reasoning, but before they do, they should ask, “Who’s reasoning are you following?”

Christianity EtcIs Jesus A God, Or God? by true2(op): 3:19am On Nov 04, 2012
Is Jesus, and God, Yahweh ( YHWH ) the same God ? Many religions teach, Jesus, and God Yahweh are the same God.
It is true, Jesus said, “The Father, and I are one.” That is a strong statement.
When a man and women marry, they become, “One Flesh.” That is also a strong statement.
Three thousand people were baptized in Jerusalem in Jesus time. Jesus said, “Father, let these be one with me, as I am one with you.” That is a very strong statement.

Jesus prayed all night…was he praying to himself?
When he was dying, he asked, “Father, why have you forsaken me?” That is a strong statement. Should it not have been, “Self, why have you forsaken yourself?”

English is not an easy language. Each student of English can read the same sentence, and come away with a different meaning.
Example; When Jesus was hanging on the stake, one of the other two hanging near him said, “Lord, when you get to your kingdom, remember me.”
Jesus replied, “I say to you this day you will be with me in Paradise.” Strong statement.

Was Jesus saying, “On this same day you will be with me in Paradise?” or was he saying, “I am telling to today, that you will be with me in Paradise?”

Jesus died the day he said that, and was dead for three days…so Jesus could not be in Paradise with the man that day…do you agree?

Jesus is a God. The Bible says he is a God. Satan is also a God…there are many Gods in the Bible…but, only one who has the power to create…Yahweh.

Jesus said, “The Father is Greater than I.” He also said, “Do not pray to me, but to the Father through me.”

Is Jesus, and Yahweh the same God? Or is the Bible in error?
Christianity EtcRe: The Victory Of Christ’s Sacrifice · PASTOR ANITA by true2(m): 9:55pm On Nov 03, 2012
Jesus did not die for our sins (many.). He died to remove the sin (one) inherited from Adam.
Do not be confused on this matter. It was not the suffering that removed the sin inherited from Adam, but what the act of dying did. Being a perfect human, Jesus carried within him a perfect human race without the sin of Adam. It was this perfect, un-born race that was sacrificed to save this one.

All other sins we do, God will forgive us, but we still pay for what we have done.

If you have a son, or daughter, and you tell them not to climb a tree because the branches are rotted, and the child disobeys, falls and breaks an arm, you will forgive the child if they ask…but the child will still have to deal with the broken arm.
