We live in a time when you get rusticated, fired or penalized for speaking against homosexuality publicly.

In the western world, you have to be careful what you put up on Facebook or what you utter on the pulpit.

More and more Christians are discriminated against for their stand.

Let me cite just a few examples:

Manny Pacquiao lost his endorsement with Nike for speaking out against homosexuality.

A student was suspended from school just for saying to his friend, "I'm Christian and, to me, being homosexual is wrong."

A street preacher in Cumbria, England, was arrested by a homosexual police officer after he listed homosexuality among a number of sins referred to in the Bible. He was locked up for seven hours and charged with causing “harassment, alarm or distress,”

Christian bakers who have refused baking cakes for homosexual couples have been sued for standing by their faith.

Kim Davis who defied court order by denying marriage licenses to gay couples was jailed for contempt of court.

Felix Ngole, 38, a second-year masters student at Sheffield University was expelled from his course when he shared a Facebook post saying "I stand with Kim Davis."

A pastor lost his job as a director of a public health department following an outrage by the LGBT community because he called homosexuality a sin at the church where he was associate pastor.

*Why is it that when people mock Jesus and insult the Christian faith, no one is jailed for it (rather they are celebrated) but once you speak up against homosexuality, wahala go burst?

A Spanish company, Durmet, has created Smarttress, a mattress that help keep tabs on unfaithful partners. The infidelity-detecting mattress is embedded with ultrasonic sensors that can capture even the slightest ‘suspicious movement’ in bed.



The Lover Detection System is a clever name they’ve given to the 24 ultrasonic sensors incorporated into the mattress, which can sense when the mattress receives abnormally high amounts of pressure.

The sensors transfer this information to a mobile app, and the dedicated software generate a 3D map that shows exactly which areas of the mattress are receiving more pressure, all in real time.

The company said they came up with the idea after they came across a statistics that said Spaniards are the most unfaithful people in Europe.

Truth hurts. Lynxx told the truth, people called for his head and his Instagram post on pre-marital sex was brought down.Why? It's only a glimpse of the state of our present world. Smh. Really sad.

Jesus taught us to always teach the truth in love. When we share this truth, we don't place our selves as better than others or holier than thou. We simply share what God has revealed to us through the Bible, in love.

The truth is I have not arrived, neither have I obtained. No. I still press on everyday to know Jesus better. I am no judge just a messenger.

Our world is a place where nobody wants to be told that what he or she is doing is wrong. Within themselves they know this must be wrong (conscience) but they just don't like it being thrown at their faces.

People want to eat their cakes and have it but it's totally impossible.There is a natural law that works in every man. It is the law of sowing and reaping. Every decision we make in life has a consequence, good or bad.

Still wondering what I am getting at? Let me expatiate.

I so agree with Lynxx when he said that sex plays a major role in so many life issues and marriage problems today. From heartbreaks, cheating, abortions, adultery, pregnancies, stds, guilt, betrayals and so on.

It is clear that God designed sex to be only within the bounds of marriage but that instruction has always been violated. In fact, sex topic is the touchiest topic you can raise.

But what you may not know is that when God says 'don't do this', He is actually protecting you from hurt, heartbreaks and negativity. When God gave His Word, He didn't impose it on man. Man had to make a choice to obey it or not. That's freewill.

But over and over again, man goes against this instruction. 'My body, my life', they say and what they forget is that their decision to go against God's injunction will only bring forth a cycle of destruction. Pre-marital sex does have spiritual and physical consequences really.

That's why many are going through what they are going through now because of the seeds they've sown in the past relationships. How do you expect a woman who slept with another woman's husband in the past to end up having a happy marriage and vice versa?

The law of sowing and reaping. You sow, you reap. It's a natural law, meaning that as long as you sow a seed, good or bad, you must be ready to reap the results. If we keep this truth in our hearts, we will be careful what we do.

If only we could obey God concerning sex, believe me when I say that all of these heartbreaks, suicide, pain etc will be avoided. God's Word is for our own good. To keep us safe.

But man wants to be free to indulge in the flesh. They want to be free drink and get drunk, have sex, have 'fun', whatever it is they want to do and damn the consequences. God becomes their worst enemy because He told them the truth. His only crime is love!

At the end of the day, when it boomerangs on them they turn around and ask why does God hate me so much. Why is God punishing me? If God is a God of love, why does He allow this to happen to me?

Again, the law of sowing and reaping.

Why blame God when you are only reaping what you had sown. He gave you His commands and showed you the right path, the path of life but you in your infinite wisdom won't obey because 'you don't want to be caged'. Lol. It's funny how myopic man can be. In thinking he is wise, he proves himself time and time again that he is a fool.

Save yourself from this cycle of destruction and do the needful. Obey God. It's not by force o! God wants men who would serve Him with all their heart that's why He gave us the will to choose. Only remember that whatever decision you'd make has a result.

He is God, the Creator. Every invention has a manual on how to operate successfully. God has given us that manual but not many want to use it. Why would things not go wrong?

I found this story rather interesting. Please read.

For the past 75 years, there has been a rumor that a tiny bridal shop in Mexico has an odd-looking mannequin which is believed to be a perfectly preserved corpse.

In March 25th, 1930 when the bridal mannequin was placed at the window of La Popular, locals became suspicious of it due to the intricate details of the doll. From the individual wrinkles in the hands, to the real human hair, to the mesmerizing gaze of her glass eyes, it was almost as if the figure was a real person frozen in time.

Eventually, people began to notice the similarities between the mannequin, nicknamed La Pascualita, and the daughter of La Popular's proprietor, Pascuala Esparza. According to legend, Esparza's daughter had tragically passed away on her wedding day, victim of a Black Widow spider bite. Locals whispered that the beautiful figure in the window was, in fact, the embalmed body of Esparza's daughter which her mother denied of course.

Today, Pascualita still sits in the window of the bridal shop and according to rumors , of all the employees working at the bridal shop, only two are allowed to change her clothing behind closed doors.

“Every time I go near Pascualita my hands break out in a sweat," said one shop worker. "Her hands are very realistic and she even has varicose veins on her legs. I believe she’s a real person.”

Other workers say they've come to the shop in the morning only to find Pascualita has changed positions on her own, or complained that she would "watch" them with an unsettling gaze as they tended to the store.
75 years later, some have come to revere La Pascualita as a saint, leaving candles and offering prayers in front of the window. Some ask for good fortune, but most come to her seeking guidance in matters of love. Many brides even let Pascualita decide on their gowns for them, simply choosing whatever dress she's wearing at the time they visit.

Within the bridal shop are tales of supernatural fiddling abound, with whispers of disembodied voices, mysterious cold spots, and even the occasional darting shadow seen from the corner of a visitor's eye.


So, is the strange mannequin really the preserved corpse of an ill-fated bride? Skeptics say no, pointing to the difficult upkeep when it comes to stopping a corpse from decaying. Others say yes, after all, is it not strange for a store to keep the same mannequin for nearly eight decades, and shroud its undressing in secrecy?

Till date, nobody has been able to prove this mannequin is an actual corpse.

Lie #3 Sex equals love.
It's true, at least for many, that sex equals an emotional tie of some sort—one that might seem like love. But here's a news flash: many treat sex as more of a physical thing than an emotional one. Sex is meant to be the ultimate expression of the ultimate commitment, marriage. Love comes first, marriage second, sex third.

Lie #4 Having sex is just like any other sin
God definitely forgives sexual sin the same way he forgives all sin. But the reason the Bible pays close attention to sexual sin is that sex affects people like no other sin does (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Most sins involve mainly your actions, but premarital sex involves your heart, mind, and body as well. That kind of internal damage is very hard to get beyond.

Lie #5 Everybody's doing it.
So not true. In every school, every town, every state there are plenty of cool, happy people who have chosen to follow God's plan and save sex for marriage. And they're also saving themselves all kinds of heartache. So not only are they cool; they're very, very smart.

Rape, domestic violence can leave a life long scar and it's important how u handle it so that it doesn't take over the rest of ur life.

After hearing how Joyce Meyer was abused by her father, it’s natural to want to know how she handled it. How does one deal with abuse? So, I got these tips from Joyce Meyer herself and I hope it helps.

Abuse means misused, used improperly, used up, wasted, to use in such a way as to cause harm or damage or to be treated cruelly. It could be sexual abuse, emotional, physical, verbal or mental abuse and all are damaging. Any time we are misused or used for any purpose other than which God intended us is damaging.

Joyce’s story serves as an inspiration to many who may have been hurt and abused in the past. If you had gone through abuse in the past or you are going through it now, God is able to turn that ugly situation around and use it for your good.

So how do you handle it?

Abuse is something the victims are ashamed of talking about but rather than keep it hidden, start by talking to God about it openly and honestly. Then talk to yourself openly and honestly. You have to get it out to get it over with. Don’t keep it hidden.

The reason why Satan wants you to keep it hidden is because as long as it is hidden , you can never get free from it, at least not completely. It could be something you have done or something done to you that you are ashamed of. Anyone being abused can fully recover.

Joyce is the proof. God healed her sexually and emotionally because naturally someone who went through her kind of traumatic childhood never grows up a normal person. Only God can do this.

In abuse, be determined to survive. Don't give up. Don't give in. Look up to God.

There are more capabilities in us than we can ever begin to imagine but Satan tries to demean us, diminish us, belittle us through people mistreating us. Even though you may have been abused or abandoned, right in the midst of it God has a plan!

So if u are a victim, pls don't bottle up ur emotions. Talk to someone. This is always the first process of your healing. Bottled emotions can make u an angry person. It changes ur attitude and disposition towards urself and others. You may begin to feel that no one cares, no one loves u. But its all psychological bc of d traumatic experience u had on d past.

Make d first step and confide in someone mature. It can become for u a ray of light in a cloudy day.

If he was right, and he was sure he was, he spends nothing less than #30,000 each month on generator fuel. The hard earned money that he would have used for something more profitable if NEPA was doing the job the masses pay them to do. A total waste of money in a country where light should be in constant supply.

'They used to be called NEPA, sounded more like National Epileptic Power Authority, but e be like say they wan rebrand themselves so they changed their name to PHCN (Power Holding Company of Nigeria) yet nothing had changed, just the name. But why Power Holding, why not Power Delivering? Are they not meant to ‘deliver’ the light instead of ‘holding’ it?

To even think of how many families over the years that have been wiped out because of lack of power supply. An entire family annihilated because they inhaled the dangerous carbon monoxide from the generator fumes. Who is to be blamed for this? The government? PHCN? The rich?

How long will the masses suffer while the rich and influential feed off on their misfortunes. They garner everything to their benefit and the masses suffer. It’s a crazy situation with no predictable end.

A white man, possibly on his first visit to Nigeria, experienced blackout at the international airport. The poor guy panicked. He must have thought that there was an earth quake or that the world was coming to an end . But that was simply Nigeria saying welcome! So sure the white guy had never experienced blackout in his life except during hazards. It was so appalling. Another taint to our beloved Nigeria.'

The angry man sat up by the side of his bed and looked out through the window into the bleak darkness outside partially illuminated by the white security light in the frontage and mused,

“Lord , for how long? How long will people keep suffering? When will these blackouts end?”
Right now, all he wanted to do was to relocate to a greener pasture abroad. UK or USA maybe, he wasn’t sure.

He was angry for his children’s comfort, angry that people are burning their hard earned money on fuel, angry that PHCN monthly intimidates them with exorbitant bills strung from useless meters, angry that the government weren’t doing anything about it. Incredulous! He checked his time piece. It was time to switch off the generator.

‘Make the gen rest abeg.’ He’ll just fan the children while they slept for the rest of the night.

Though he was relieved but he couldn’t help but wonder how long the light will last before they relapsed again to another bout of blackout. And if Jesus didn’t respond in an undeniable way, he would file a complaint with the police about the annoying evangelist. But the evangelist relished the wager.

By the third week, there was still no answer. Dahal who dutifully prayed with all sincerity warned Jesus that his time was running out.

At the end of the third week, however, the power of the one true living God struck.
“This power like a current of electricity came into me and began to run very fast,” Dahal remembered. “I was shocked. I was closing my eyes and opening my eyes, and I was very afraid. I kept saying, ‘Who is this? What’s happening to me? What’s inside of me running very fast?’”

It was an experience he had never encountered in his 30 years of worshiping the Hindu pantheon of gods.
