Therefore, anyone can be investigated and arrested. No one is a saint. So you guys should stop making it seems as if arresting a journalist is sacrilegious.

Telegram founder was arrested in France. Is that democracy in danger! Rubbish and ingredients. Instead of you guys to ask what he did or wait for the outcome of the investigation/ arrest you're busy talking rubbish. Someone like that cannot be arrested for no reason.

It's rare to get anything out of a divorce in Nigeria apart from custody and child maintenance. Which is very sad.

She must show the benefits of keeping the children together for their mental health and she must show that the husband is not a fit and proper person.

But other than custody and maintenance it is very difficult to get anything out of the courts unless there is an organised family business in which she can show financial contribution or support. Lots of lessons for spouses to learn in the construction of their finances.

I dont understand why the lawyer and social worker feel this way.

Obviously this is a rough piece of advice in the absence of detail which I do not think you should ever provide online or to someone you do not know well.

I don't know if you need details but the girl has really suffered and has finally decided to leave the marriage, after like more than 10 years with 4 children to show. One of the kids is late.
The man is irredeemably recalcitrant!
She's weighing her options.
What can she possibly come out with?
She needs to secure custody, the children'd be no good staying with that man.
She involved social welfare and a lawyer.
But it seems they're not giving her much to hope on.

It is not a law but a rule of interpretation. Any document must be interpreted based on reasonability . A court can question whether a man's duty to his family to provide and care gor his family can be negated by a document when there was no history of animosity.

There was a case in the lagos high court a few years ago when a man willed all his assets to Guru Maharaji. The will was overturned on the ground that the sect had undue influence on him and that his neglect of his family was unreasonable based on his life up till the moment of death.

Morale. If you want to give everything to charity and neglect your family then do it while you are alive.

I've had similar experiences so I know it happens. Many years back I was praying one night and then I got to praying in tongues and someone just came up strongly on my heart and wouldn't go. I later got to know he was the one I was praying for and a passage from the bible was coming to mind so I knew it was for him ( I still recall the Bible passage). This was in the night. As I prayed my phone started ringing that night and I was shocked to see that it was the same person calling me. He was in far away Maiduguri while I was in Kaduna then. I can recall several if such incidences that I could even sometimes tell what I was praying for them about even tho they never told me. And there are scriptures from the bible to back such experiences up. I pray I've such time to spend in prayers again, hustle and bustle of life can make one really miss spending time with God. May God help us

That's how my own girlfriend back in school took some concoctions and was fainting at her female lodge..Her female friends carried her and came to my house that midnight in that state, knocked my door, dropped her with me and disappeared. My room mate saw her situation that night, instead of finding a way we take her to the hospital, the guy grab his phone and put on his shirt and disappeared in the thick of the night. I was left alone crying and she could barely speak, every one has escaped. She survived until 7 am , I got hired a care that took her to the hospital, she was rushed into emergency treated and she survived.
Mannnnn this was in 2009 back in Uni.
I escaped. "Na belle she be wan comot o" The hospital had to do emergency evacuation to safe her life. Since that day big big lesson.

If na belle,her friends did the right thing. Especially if they knew.

Dont know if its a spiritual issue or if They are possessed beings,it happened to me,She woke me up at mid night and told me she will die the following day,my body gather goose bump immediately,I don't know when it will be, she said I should run as fast as I can to take her to any church around,I acted but she seized when people were around,she went dead on her seat, every effort to revive her by everyone around was effortless, she woke up by 1am in midnight from like 2pm on the afternoon. After the joy, that she is back,she lost her senses and madness starts, she ran out of the house while I was bathing a d the next place we got her where about was Akure the 3rd day, she became a wonderer,when she got to her senses ,she gave my number to.someone to call.me, I ran around 7pm at night to Akure I entered Akure at around 2am, I nearly died of accident my father too was lucky we could have died. The madness stayed for a while like 3months before God delivered her completely and she is fine till today.I spent all my savings! But God was faithful everything was restored in double fold,I stood by her I dint run.

On our own case we were married legally by then, co habiting is very bad and deadly,make sure the parent knows you are with their daughter else if unusual happens u can be jailed for what you dint know.
