spyder880: Depends on you, if you have the time and knowledge then you can buy and give to the builder. The stress is on the knowledge. But this sometimes saves the builder the hassles of explaining why some faults happened with the construction, he cannot be blamed for faulty materials if the owner is the one that bought.
