Where sense evades you is that, most of the children of your hosts brought up in those places have since migrated to other much better parts of the state, leaving you as landlords in areas where nobody upwardly mobile wants to live. Eventually, government will come there and crush many of those places so as to make way for urban regeneration.

As for your rubbish about your people buying up estates, which ones are you talking about? The problem you people have is when just 2 of your people buy land in an area where 100 other people have existed without noise, the noise of those your 2 people will drown every other sound.
