People like this kind of topic about Bia... In nairaland, yet pretend about it. This topic should be taken down as it goes against rule 9. If not, then, let the law makers (MODs) know they are law breakers and have no right to ban anyone who posts Bia.... topics. Say no to favouritism!
PoliticsRe: A Biafra Protest In Lagos Is A Receipe For Chaos by Truth4eva: 6:27pm On Nov 28, 2015

A Biafran protest in Lagos affects Yorubas because it is their land and it will disturb their peace. They have a right to complain and warn us of the consequences of our actions.
What about the peaceful biafran protests that have been done in other countries in the world? Did they affect the peace there also? Yorubas are not the only people living in Lagos, and we will not protest because of them. The peaceful protest will be for biafrans living in Lagos. Biafrans protested in Abuja and nothing happened. Lagos will not be an exception.

Please yorubas, biafrans don't need your advice as regards issues relating to biafra. We can take care of our headache. If yorubas or hausas/fulanis talk of seceding from nigeria, nobody will raise an eyebrow. Immediately the name 'Biafra' is mentioned, all hell is let loose. I can't understand why.

Yorubas.....what a people. SMH. Your cowardly disease will take a long time before it is cured i.e if it will be cured at all.
PoliticsRe: Igbos Need To Redirect Their Protests To Their Leaders by Truth4eva: 6:08am On Nov 28, 2015
You can hide my post from now till eternity. Why do some nigerians hate to be told the truth about Nigeria? As I have written before, the amalgamation was to last for 100 years (1914-2014). After that, any region that wants to secede is free to do so. Nigeria has expired and biafrans want to go. As long as nigerians shy away from the truth, nigeria will not go forward. Truth is bitter, yet must be spoken.

the first time I heard a boy named onyema tell me he is not ibo, I was dumbfounded. He said he is delta ibo. I told him there was no difference, but he disagreed. Same stance is taken by my girlfriend whose mum is also delta ibo.
Noted! Are you satisfied now?

the ibos in that region are not silly. They know they have a lot to gain in a Niger delta or Nigeria than biafra. Besides, they've always dissociated themselves from SE ibos.
I know that you are not quite sure about what you have written here. You based it on speculations or what you see people write on Nairaland or in the dailies. Time will tell whether they are biafrans or not.

There will be referendum because you want it or what? Ethnic nationalities in the SS since 1967 have said NO TO BIAFRA. They've said it at every fora and some lost their lives in the process(eg Boro). So what referendum do you need or who will force it? Perhaps there should also be Biafran referendum in Ibadan, Osogbo, kano, Borno, Zamfara etc. Bros, like I said, you will be surprised with the popular acceptance Biafra will get if you guys stop the attach SS by force in your map. Personally, I wish you guys well in the agitation but SS is not a party to it.

Even if Oil fall to One Kobo, it still won't change our position... Beside, we have gas grin
I don't know why you feel agitated whenever 'Biafra' is mentioned. Wait till a referendum is to be conducted, then we shall know the areas that will part of it. Stay cool.

the only referendum will be done in ibo land, nothing more. Or do you think such will take place in SS? stop dreaming.
Absolutely. The five known states and part of Delta and Rivers who are Igbos.

I believe that this thread is meant for "intellectuals". That said, the Oil in question is 98% on the soil of South South ethnic groups that have said they(we) are not signatories to Biafran arrangement. I believe that Biafra will be actualise without a single opposition if you stop dragging SS into your Biafran map. Let it be for Igbos and watch the popular support it will get across board. Thanks
A referendum will confirm your perceptions. You should know that Biafra is not all about oil. Afterall the price of oil keeps dropping day by day.

that is why I said, true federalism cannot be implemented yet. We must invest in other regions albeit with the oyel money to make the sustainable, once that is achieved, regions van decide to come together as a federation or we all go our separate ways, to agitate for federalism or seccesion today without the above done will never be accepted by the north who are mostly parasitic on the nations economy thanks to their lack of interest in agriculture and avarice to oyel money
Have we not depended on oil for about 55years? How much longer will nigerians wait before true federalism is actualised? Even Buhari is talking about using gas for national development, instead of diversification of economy. This resource, alongside crude oil is exploited from a paricular region or some states in Nigeria and used to finance all states. Some Nigerians don't want to hear about true federalism but will always look up to the central government for funds. Truth be told that nigeria cannot practise true federalism, no matter how long funds are given to states for economic growth through the exploitation of oil and gas.
PoliticsRe: Biafra Protests Hit Asaba, Delta State by Truth4eva: 2:21pm On Nov 24, 2015
As long as those people protesting even in their few numbers are united, they will achieve their goal. One will chase 1000 but two will chase 10000. How many will one hundred chase? God loves people who are united to achieve a just cause. God bless Biafra.

Eddygourdo:
true, I do agree but this country is blessed with many things other than crude, we just haven't developed many sustainably, we need to start doing that At least for a predefined period. This period should assess the capacity for self sustainace by the different regions with investments made towards these identified areas, we can't implement true federalism now at our current state else all regions will suffer and crumble including igbo land. Thus we must exploit our areas of comparative advantage which exists for all regions and make investments towards them in plan for either full federalism or seccesion
It seems that you do not understand the country you are living in. No state or region will fold its hands and see what it has perspired for being used to sustain another state or region, because some states or regions cannot sustain themselves. This is the truth. Why do you think that the nigerian government does not want to implement diversification of economy or true federalism? Your guess is as good as mine. People don't speak so much about oil because it is used to sustain all states. Once true federalism comes into play, everybody will be vigilant to know which state is a parasite and which is the host. When sustainable states see that the unsustainable ones don't contribute as they should, disuinty and disagreement will set in.
PoliticsRe: Buhari:nigeria To Explore Its Gas Reserves For Development by Truth4eva: 2:01pm On Nov 24, 2015
Buhari, where will the gas that will be used for national development come from?
PoliticsRe: Mature Igbo Minds.. ..... Let's Mingle by Truth4eva: 1:51pm On Nov 24, 2015
Op, I commend you for your good work here. Nevertheless, the earlier we tell ourselves the truth, the better for us. True federalism cannot work in Nigeria. Some states cannot sustain themselves not to talk of bringing a certain percentage to the central government. When this repeats itself severally, these states will depend on other states for survival as if in a pararsitic mode of association. They will become a burden to these other states which can sustain themselves, leading to quarrel, diagreement and disunity. What holds Nigerians together is CRUDE OIL. If it is taken away, one can now see how nigeria looks in reality. If hausas/Fulanis or Yorubas want to secede, nobody lifts an eyebrow. But as soon as Biafrans talk of secession, war will be declared against them. Why? Because of OIL.

So why did u never confront military presidents like d yorubas if u were soooo brave. lmao!!!!!
I don't need to exchange words with you. Hausa/Fulanis will not take it lightly with anyone that pushes them to the wall. Biafrans fight their way out of challenges that want to throw them down. Yorubas, though with few exceptions, will blame someone else who they consider their enemies when challenges come, instead of facing such challenges.
PoliticsRe: Biafra: The State Security Services (SSS) Discontinued Nnamdi Kalu's Case by Truth4eva: 2:49pm On Nov 23, 2015
The truth of the matter is that in any case that is before any court, those that are lying know surely that they do not want justice to prevail, but they cannot go far. This is because the God of justice will always fight for the oppressed and in turn visit the LIARS with the punishment they deserve. Those who spoke for the SSS did not say any meaningful thing but only looking for another court so as to pervert justice. God bless Biafra!

Sorry Yorubas because no matter how long you wish to be biafrans, you can never be. Biafrans are known for bravery and confronting the enemies, when pushed to the wall. This is God's gift to us and not man. Yorubas should reorganise their lives, face the challenges before them and stand for the truth. They should not be busy-bodies or poking their noses into affairs that do not concern them. Jealousy makes one blind even to reality and can kill. God bless Biafra!

Pls can u lecture me on biafra?

Gaining freedom? Were u, d Ibos, in slavery?
Biafra is not about Igbos alone. This is where some people get it wrong. We did not say that we were in slavery, but that we want to be free as we were before the amalgamation which is meant to last for 100 years )1914-2014). UN recognises the right to self determination of indigenous people all over the world, which biafrans are a part of. So what we are doing is justified by the UN, but nigerians see it as 'disturbance'. This is why the nigerian government is doing everything to stop us from exercising our rights but it has failed already.
