I have watched this wasrels just insult everyone as if they were force-fed with scorpion and cobra milkshake from cradle.

They descend like locust to unleash insults and they walk away feeling fulfilled. They come back to demand for cooperation, a right or a privilege utterly discouraged from their hateful past.

When rejected they become angry and start their cycle again. It has been like that for over 70 years. With this new brood of vipers, the cycle of venomous hate and consequence seem assured. May God help Nigeria

Politics / How Not To Stop Jagaban; Episodes 1-1000 by TruthAdvocate: 9:53pm On Apr 19, 2023
JAGABAN means leader of bwarriors. Since 1999, he has been fighting and winning battles

EPISODE 1 1999 . Despite his selfless role in NADECO, there was a gang up against him gubernatorial primaries. He won and became the Gov.

EPISODE 2. 2003 OBJ/PDP fought AD in SW and captured all SW. Only Jagaban survived.

EPISODE 3 2004 Jagaban led the battle for the creation of more Local Councils. OBJ used Fed might. He won at the Supreme Court.

EPISODE4 2007. OBJ/PDP organized what was descibed by the Supreme court as a flawed election. Even Yaradua the winner acknowledged that it was terrible. Hence FG initiated the Uwais Panel. Jagaban won and Fashola became governor

EPISODE 5 2011. Jagaban supported GEJ to become president. The Cabal wanted to cage him through a trial at Code of Conduct Tribunal. That is almost 5 years after leaving office. He won

EPISODE 6 2015. Jagaban aligned with PMB as opposition to PDP led FG. and for the first time in the history of Nigeria, the opposition won.

EPISODE 7 2015-2019. He became the target of sectarian hatred. He was made the co-chair of the Presidential Campaign Council for PMB. According to reports PMB made sure Asiwaju was in charge of the campaign “Even though we have only 40 days, this campaign is going to tax us all, because we intend to touch all corners of our great and vast country,” Buhari said. “But I must also add that, though we will all be deeply involved, I would like to assure the nation that I will do my part without making governance or my work suffer. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, my co-chairman, will be fully in charge, and is going to be on 24-hour vigil.
Sectarian and ethnic elements described Asiwaju and his ethnic group as slaves and Osinbajo they called fake Pastor. Well Asiwaju delivered. PMB won.

EPISODES 7 TO 950. 2019 - 2023
This has been filled with intrigues.
Party Control
EndSARS
Presidential Election
Gubernatorial Election
Jagaban is still the last man standing according to Billionaire Elumelus.

Episodes ahead
Wishful thinking on Interim Government and Stopping Inauguration
Delegitimizing government

He won fan greater battles so these wishful thinking and cynicism are like breezes to the oars of Titanic.

If your goal is just to make things difficult for the in coming administration, consider the impact of that difficulty on struggling masses and yourself - unless you are living abroad permanently. Difficulties created by online and offline actions do not in any significant way affect those at the VERY TOP of the social ladder. Just look at strikes for instance, who lost years in the University. He will start looking for jobs, saving for visa and work permits in foreign countries?

One Tenth of what you use to fight destructively can be used to fight productively and you will get the results that move you closer to your ideal. But when you fight to destroy a system just because you hate those who hold the levers of the system, you will end up creating a treacherous gulf between you and your goal. That was the point Prof Soludo was struggling to make.

Politics / Clamp Down On 486 Exam Miracle Centres After PO Tenure by TruthAdvocate: 7:28pm On Apr 18, 2023
She lamented that the emergence of the miracle centres has made students lazy to study.

“Our children no longer study to pass examinations. Rather, they go to those places where they will be helped to pass examinations,” the commissioner said, adding:

“We have set machinery in motion to ensure that those examination miracle centres are closed down so that our children would imbibe the spirit and culture of success through hard work.”

Politics / Thorns, Weeds And Flowers Vs. Soyinka's Iroko Tree by TruthAdvocate: 7:39pm On Apr 09, 2023
Tweets and and social media posts against Soyinka are like thorns, weeds and flowers. They have no value beyond the topical issue. The flowers among them appear pleasant. They are used for events or planted for decorations. They are never used to build enduring structures.

Those who possess nothing of structural value are the weeds and thorns and flowers. The value of your comment determines where you belong in these 3 categories. Like thorns, weeds and flowers they will fade into obscurity after playing their part for one or two seasons.. Such is life.

Soyinka on the other hand is the real Iroko tree with structural value.
His works are being studied in citadesl of learning and he was conferred with the HIGHEST honour in Literature - FIRST of its kind for an African. (The Nobel Prize)

If your hero or tribesman did not get, it means it was rigged? Same story for over 60 years. NO RACE IS INHERENTLY BETTER THAN ANY OTHER, ONLY OPPORTUNITIES DIFFER due to cross-pollination of civilizations.

If Hitler only concentrated on just making Germany the best for her citizens instead of trying to prove false superiority of the White race,
Germany would probably be the greatest power on earth today.

Soyinka became an Iroko because of his believe in tigritude ( Just do your thing!)

He has made indelible mark in every form of literature. Poem, Prose, Play, Acting and Music. He is a phenomenon that earned his laurel by transcending philosophical boundaries He is not novel, poem or play. He is literature embodied. Hence his well deserved Laurel.

Below are his notable works

The first task before Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration is to ensure that Nigeria is able to leverage on the talents of youths in all nooks and crannies of Nigeria. We have celebrated talents both in the North and in the South.

The story of Adekunle a 31 one year old Nigerian is a perfect illustration of what can be achieved through Nigerian youths

Politics / Obidients Saw A Future We Never Saw by TruthAdvocate: 7:12am On Mar 01, 2023
Let's admit. Many of us wrote off Obidient movement. How could it be? A party without structure! 😔
Alas. We were wrong. Structure is not everything.

What was the strategy?
From the upsets giving a party without a structure impressive victory in 12 states just like the parties with structures and also in a statistical with PDP we can now see that another avenue exists to reach the goal.

"Let the Big Guys nock themselves out"
If you look at their analysis, they were not banking on winning in the core north at all. They were not expecting to do better than what they diid. They only want few votes from some minority demographics in the north.

They wanted to add that to a great volume of votes from SS and SE with Lagos. That would have placed them in a solid second position.

The big hope.
PDP must crush APC in the north. This is where the betrayer narrative came in. They did not expect APC to secure 25% of 36+1 states as required.

They expected PDP to garner the highest number of votes without also meeting the 25% requirement.

What Next?
They expected a rerun between PDP and LP.
In this, they stood a chance of securing 25% and the higher number of votes.

What went wrong?
PDP, though won more states in the north but the north gave APC higher number of votes. The betrayer did not happen.

How about rigging?
Who wants to get into a Holier than Thou argument about rigging? Rigging did not play a significant role otherwise Labour stood no chance at all. Let's be honest.

It was just that APC surpassed expectation in the north. You cannot "rig out" a candidate that is sufficiently popular in his community. The votes from Adamawa and SE clear confirm this fact. The victories of PMB in the north prior to 2015 also confirmed it.

They may be gaps but outcomes usually reflect the topography of our political landscape.

Way forward.
Win each day for yourself in your private business or work and Nigeria will be a winner.

If you however choose to fight in the understanding of a political defeat and desperately struggle for victory, you will be wasting your human capital on a mere political adventure.

Politics / Re: 2023 Prediction: You Can Even Do Better by TruthAdvocate: 3:00am On Mar 01, 2023
TruthAdvocate:
The prediction is correct after all.

On the issue of 25% of 2/3 of the States of the Federation and FCT, the law does not intend to elevate and cannot elevate a unit of the Federation to an electoral college there by making the voters within the unit Super delegates of super voters in a democratic process. That will ordinarily violates section 42 of the constitution which prohibits discrimination.

The prediction is correct after all.
Politics / 2023 Prediction: You Can Even Do Better by TruthAdvocate: 11:18pm On Jan 08, 2023
1. The first thing is to know the estimated number of voters

In Nigeria you can fairly estimate that to be 100 million (around 96 million actually see
https://www.statista.com/statistics/1343781/annual-number-of-registered-voters-in-nigeria/)

The second thing to note is voters turnout rate.

This is estimated at 30-35% (see
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2021/02/nigeria-voter-turnout-hovers-around-30-35-inec/amp/.)

Thus, the total voters turnout expected for 2023 will be around 33 million.

Note, each election comes with very strong, emotive reason why we should ordinarily expect 70-90% voters turnout. 2007 was described as do or die. 2011 as fresh air 2015 as change, etc. At the end we are who we are. Only the figures are redistributed but every election cycle remains under 35%.

If you go beyond this, it is allowed in social discussions but not in science where empirical evidence and data counts. And it is actually not worth arguing about because it is purely wishful thinking

The 3rd thing is voters turnout per region.

NW 7. 8 million plus
NC 5. 2 million plus
SS 5. 1 million plus
NE 5. 5 million plus
SW 5.7 million plus
SE 4. 2 million plus
Total 33.5 million

See Nigeria Presidential Elections Results 2019 by BBC.
APC 15,191,847 PDP 11,262,978
Approximately 27 million.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/resources/idt-f0b25208-4a1d-4068-a204-940cbe88d1d3

If we project 33.5million for 2023 it means there will be approximately 6 million new voters. This more than account for any euphoria or hysteria of a new transition.

There is a formidable 3rd force. At this stage so the 33. 5 million will not be split 2 ways as usual. The 3rd force will take significant chunk (some believe it will be the deciding chunk) . So the winning candidate is not likely to get up to 15 million voters.

This is where pollsters talk about the math of the demography. You may be very popular but if the demography that favours you do not have the numbers then the math is not in your favour.

Looking at the voters distribution
Who ever takes 50% of NW (4m) and NE (3m) and either of NC (3m), and SS (3m) will certainly be the winner. the combination gives 10 million votes. He will only need a handful of 3.5 million votes from the remaining 3 geopolitical zones clinch a marginal victory.

What is clear.
The 3rd force holds the balance of power. In a parliamentary system, he will join the either of the top 2 to form a coalition government. In a presidential system, the winner takes all.

As of now only one party has got the math. But governing a nation as complex as Nigeria, we have learnt is not a game of numbers.
Politics / Re: Statement From P&ID Following Tolhe Sham Trial In Abuja by TruthAdvocate: 5:28pm On Sep 29, 2019
It shows how ignorant some Nigerians are. Even if Nigeria is to pay 100 bllion dollars, it does not affect the allowances and salaries of our leaders. It the cost of living that will increase and the standard of living that will fall for the poor man. So an average Nigerian that supports P&ID or restricts itself only to blaming Buhari for the fiasco is just like a parasite supporting locust to attack it's own host.
