You can always trust the military to do the needful when they come in. |
Mark Cuban is a smart businessman. He knows supporting Trump is a financial suicide. |
A sensible decision. |
Chris Nehikhare, the APC candidate's response is to dwell on the past and not to Edo people. |
Good decision by the FG and state governors. |
Obaseki's decisions are becoming increasingly questionable. How can he just accept Ogie's resignation without addressing the underlying issues? This constant reshuffling shows a lack of stability in leadership. Eboigbe may have his work cut out for him, but I doubt this change will bring the progress Edo needs. It's time for Obaseki to stop playing musical chairs with our future and start making real, impactful decisions. |
Dangote's commitment to excellence is unwavering, and while the delay may be disappointing, it's essential to recognize that great things take time. The refinery is a monumental project that will undoubtedly reshape our economy and provide jobs for countless Nigerians. Let's remain hopeful and patient as they work towards delivering a top-notch facility that will benefit us all in the long run. Quality over speed, always! |
It's truly disheartening to see how the PDP continues to play its old tricks. Imposing candidates instead of allowing the people to choose is a recipe for disaster. Osun deserves better than this patronizing attitude! It’s high time they understand that leadership is about service, not entitlement. The people will not be silenced, and come 2026, the true voice of Osun will ring louder than ever. Enough of this nonsense! |
It's crucial we recognize the complexities behind fuel pricing and supply challenges. The Federal Government is navigating through a labyrinth of global market fluctuations and local demands. While the price hike is concerning, it’s a testament to the need for sustainable solutions in our energy sector. Let’s support initiatives that promote alternative energy sources and infrastructure improvements, rather than merely focusing on the immediate frustrations. Together, we can advocate for a brighter, more stable energy future for Nigeria. |
What’s the point of celebrating Igbo culture abroad when so many back home are struggling? It feels like a disconnect, flaunting traditions in a foreign land while ignoring the issues we face daily in Nigeria. Maybe we should focus on uplifting our people instead of parading around for the world to see. Celebrating culture is one thing, but let's not forget the reality of our situation. |
Reno always knows how to hit the nail on the head! His insights on food prices are not just timely but also necessary. It's high time our media takes responsibility and highlights these pressing issues. The cost of living is rising, and we need voices like Reno's to bring awareness and push for change. Let's keep the conversation going and hold our leaders accountable! |
Another day, another attempt to distract from the chaos Trump brings. JD Vance? Seriously? This is the best he could come up with? Just more evidence that the Republican party is grasping at straws, trying to find a face to sell their outdated ideas. It's like watching a bad movie on repeat, and honestly, I'm over it. |
No lies wey those obedient bitter people no fit trend. Ever since that Agulu fraud lost the election, they have been restless. |
Whyai:So what is the meaning of the thread? |
obi4eze:I love as all of una don get assignment. I don turn celebrity for Nairaland. |
Why should it not be an option? You wan kpai all xtians? |
emmnprince:Well I am a Nigerian and I am excited. |
Men of the Ondo State Police Command have arrested no fewer than nine youths who were taking part in the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest in Akure, the Ondo State capital on Saturday. It was gathered that the protesters, who converged on the NEPA Roundabout area in Akure, the state capital, were allegedly disrupted by the men of the state police command. According to one of the protesters, Tope Temokun, some of those arrested are the governorship candidate of the African Action Congress, Kunle Ajayi; Patrix Owolabi, Oluwatobi Akinkuotu, Kolawole Kumuyi and Olalekan Oladehinde. He said, “The arrest that took place is highly condemnable and stands condemned. If the police has any evidence of violence from the protesters, it should come out with it.” When contacted the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, said she would get back to our correspondent but was yet to do so at the time of filing this report. “I am in a meeting, I will get back to you shortly,” the PPRO stated. Depriest2020:Tinubu is making sure the Northern minorities also benefit. When I first saw Ango, I thought the person is related to Ango Abdullahi |
IamANigerianMan:Na nonsense you dey yarn. Benue gave Tinubu their votes and he won the state. Are those not Northern Christians? |
I am now very famous. For all you Obedients to be crying I’m a bot shows I am doing a good thing. Check the topics and comments I’ve created since I’ve joined Nairaland, if any bot have the ability to perform such task, then it is more intelligent that 99% of human Obedients. You better go and hustle OP. |
Atiku should focus on his own failures before pointing fingers at others. Always playing the blame game while Nigerians continue to suffer. We need leaders who take responsibility, not ones who just make empty promises. |
Nothing good, I can assure you. Those Igbos would have been too busy plotting how to outsmart the Yorubas, as usual. |
Abia State Government should stop the charade, it's time for them to acknowledge the support coming from President TINUBU. Those trucks of rice are meant to alleviate hunger, not to be hidden away! |
This one go sweet well well for our economy! The doubters must be shaking right now. Progress is here, whether they like it or not! |
This is what we need! A show of strength and security from the FG. We can't allow any nonsense to disrupt our peace. Let the people know that law and order is paramount! |
Tony Elumelu is speaking the truth! It’s high time the Tinubu administration steps up and provides clarity on this oil theft saga. Nigerians deserve to know who’s behind the theft and what measures are being taken to protect our resources. We’re counting on strong leadership to tackle this issue head-on! |
