Notice the phrase, 'he that has the Son hath life'. It didn't say, 'he that belongs to church hath life'.

The first emphasis is Christ. You must have the life of Christ in you first. You must be born again.

After that, your church identification will make a meaning. But if you are not born again, the church you attend is meaningless.

And I know all Jehovah Witness are not born again. You are all still in the Kingdom of darkness. You are just being religious. You don't know the Jehovah you preach because you don't know Jesus.

The phrase "BORN AGAIN" first occurred when Jesus was talking to a Jewish ruler named "Nicodemus" this man was one of the Jewish religious political group known as "Pharisees" this party and another called "Sadducees" has been rival political groups for centuries until a Roman governor approved only these two as the groups that will continue to produce the Highpriest inside the temple in Jerusalem. Nicodemus and his group were politicians anticipating a time when the promised Christ will come to settle all the troubles affecting their nation.

That's why Jesus didn't waste any time before telling him that he must put on a new personality completely before he can become a coruler with the Christ.

So BORN AGAIN means being baptized of water and spirit {John 3:3-5} just as Jesus became the first BORN AGAIN son of God after his baptism {Matthew 3:16-17} that was the day a prophecy about him was fulfilled that God acknowledged Jesus as His Son publicly, the same will happen to other Christians belonging to that set. Act 2:1-3

Of course being BORN AGAIN is not a criteria to become a beneficiary of God's Kingdom rather whoever wants to rule with Christ must be born again and it's not by man's choice or will only God selects those who will become corulers with Christ even Jesus has no say on that! Matthew 20:20-23

Born again simply means the rebirth of the human spirit. So, it's a spiritual birth. When you get born again, you receive a new spirit or a new heart.

This is why our Lord Jesus said:

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Flesh gives birth to Flesh. But Spirit gives birth to spirit. This is why the Holy Spirit is involved.

The two agencies is the word of God and the Spirit of God. Jesus likened the word of God to water. Thus he said:

John 35: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

As you hear the good news of the gospel and believe that Jesus died for you and that he was raised up on the third day, you are on the pathway to salvation. You are saved the very moment you confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and Saviour.

According to Romans 10:9-10

Try to read it in context. The prophetic discourse started by Jesus pointing to the temple in Jerusalem which he said will be destroyed - Matthew 24.

The disciples wanted to know when this will happen, the signs of his coming and of the end of the world. Then Jesus began to unfold the events one by one.

In verse 9, he said:

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and YE SHALL BE HATED OF ALL NATIONS for my name's sake.

Notice the capitalized phrase - Israel will be hated by ALL NATIONS.

But we haven't yet seen that happen. Israel still has countries that support them. But after the church has been raptured, all nations will be governed by leaders under the influence of demons.

The anti Christ will be revealed and ask everyone to worship the image of the beast that will be set up. Meanwhile, Israel will initially accept him as their long awaited Messiah. They will even sign a 7 year peace treaty according to Daniel's prophecy But after three and a half years he will break the peace treaty and set up the image of the beast in Jerusalem which is in Judah. This is what Jesus referred to when he said:

Matthew 24:15
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand

He further said:

Matthew 24:16-22
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Notice he said that those in Judaea should flee to the mountains. Why did he mention Judaea? Because the city of Jerusalem where the abomination is placed is in Judaea.

You will now understand what Jesus meant when he said, he that endures to the end shall be saved.

He is referring to the Jews who will be persecuted during the great tribulation period. Most of them will be killed as stated in verse 9. But anyone who holds on to his faith even unto death shall be saved.
