Atheism is the most irrational, illogical nonsense. In rejecting the logical reality of God, the atheist has blind faith in a causeless universe where matter, energy, time and space came from literal nothingness. This isn't just blind faith in an unscientific premise, it's belief in magic.

You simply cannot get something from nothing and what's more, atheists think their blind faith in something from nothingness isn't a contradiction. After all, if everything can come from nothingness, then under the "logic" of the atheist, God can come from nothing too. Atheism is self refuting.

However, the theist position isn't to support something from nothingness. Rather, the theist position is that God is eternal and this is in agreement with all the logic of the Prime Mover argument which is backed by scientific principles such as causality. Ultimately there had to be an eternal source at the beginning from which everything else proceeded from. This is simply logic.

Logic agrees with theism, whereas atheism is based on mere fantasising and denial of scientific and logical principles.

Best you can do for your kids is to give them the tools for how to navigate life. Don't worry so much about the religious activities around them, if you teach them how to think they'll hopefully figure it out for themselves. I teach my children how to recognise when they're being scammed as part of a lesson in critical thinking skills. Let me also add that you should try to check things up from questions they ask. Don't be ashamed to tell them you don't know something and say both of you should use computer to check it out, that closes the gap religion usually uses to influence people. For instance if he wonders how water gets into coconut just say you don't know and say you'd check it out and you're ready to learn this with him. No, not just the gospels or Paul's letters. We have records from outside of The Bible such as from ancient historians and writers such as Tactius, Josephus, Pliny, Suetonius, Julius Africanus and many more.

These records asides from affirming that Jesus was a real person, also validate the Biblical account of his life mentioning his trial by Pontius Pilate, his crucifixion, his preaching and even the darkness during his crucifixion.

Many of these ancient writers weren't even Christian, yet they confirmed that Jesus existed.

They have set up these echochambers where they spend years trying to validate each other's beliefs against religion. These delusional people genuinely believe that religion is evil and that if the world "bans religion" that suddenly, there will be world wide peace.

Many will also promote their conspiracy theories and lies as fact, banning anyone who produces evidence to refute them. Many atheists for example will not accept the proven historical existence of Jesus and will ignore all the evidence or lie about it.

The evidence being written records of Jesus from outside The Bible by contemporaries of the time of Jesus. This is what has led to ALL REPUTABLE HISTORIANS to affirm that Jesus did exist.

In fact, as one of the historians in one of the above articles says "those who deny the existence of Jesus are like the deniers of climate change.” In other words, denying that Jesus existed makes you no different to a conspiracy theorist since you're denying the evidence.
