Family / Hard Pill To Swallow Abt Broke Or Struggling Guys. by Truvelisback(m): 9:17pm On May 17
Good day, fellas. If you are Broke or a Struggling guy, don't expect these things from People:
1. Love
2. Respect
3. Care
4. Attention
5. Loyality etc.
6. Even your wife may deny you of sex

That's just the ugly truth. Note: It's not applicable to women.

I didn't intentionally got her pregnant.
You should have thought of that before getting her pregnant. You should consider her feelings too. You want to turn her to a single mother and give her difficult in getting married. Why don't you want to marry her? Give a concrete reason.

Family / Re: What's The Hardest Part Of Being A Man ? by Truvelisback(m): 8:15pm On May 17
LiveWire85:
Watching my father daily has made me realize that the hardest thing about being a man is the fact that nobody really cares about you, because they think you ought to be man enough to handle every jab life throws at you.
You are allowed to show zero emotions and no weakness .you are only relevant and seen as man enough when you shoulder everything even if it kills you in silence.

I really pray God strengthens and comforts every good man out there. That's why we have to support them the best way we can.
Money! Money! Money! If you don't have money, just forget it. Sadly, that's just the ugly truth. You are less than a humanbeing if you don't have money as a man. Without money, forget Love, Loyality, attention, care and respect from people, love ones and family members. A woman may be broke and still be normal but not you as a man.

Family / Re: If Igbo Girl Born For You Marrying Her Because Harder Unlike Other Tribes. by Truvelisback(m): 7:55pm On May 17
Bullfallo:
When girls from other tribe born for you marrying them becomes easier. If it’s just introduction and the family will handover her as far as you are genuine and ready to take good care of her. You can bring pride price later when ever you are ready.

But the igbo own. The parents will tell you they are not in charge it’s village people that is in charge. Why should village backward people be in charge of the life of a more civilized person in the city is still something i need to understand.

They will bill the man for the marriage and if he is not ready to pay they will tell him the child is not his own without marriage and they will sell the child at a very tender age or give the child out to apprenticeship to serve a master for 15-20 years.

This people are still operating a barbaric practice. It happened to my Cousin. When he got information that they wanted to give his child out. He rush there to claim the child but they refuse him that the child is not his own because he didn’t pay the bride price.
I get what you are saying. Stay clear from ladies from these tribes if you don't have money: Igbo and Akwa-ibom, to avoid over burden with marital stress.

If you are one then avenge your mum.

For there is a season and time for everything under the sun..

It is obvious you can't get justice legally.
He can, if he reports to the right authority. E.g Domestic Violence authorities. They will deal with him.

We bought this cow today at keffi in Nasarawa state and shared among three of us.

The price shows that things aren't the way it used to be anymore.

For now, this would help my family to avoid buying a kilo for 6k.

Things are indeed crazy out there.
It's more expensive in Lagos. That size would cost you like 600k or even 700k. The one of 450k would be smaller than what you bought.

Nairalanders,

Please don't crucify me yet, just advise me please. Had to utilize a new moniker for this.

I got married last year June and by February 2024, I was transferred to another state for work. I was bored in the city and probably made a mistake. The girl stays in same hotel, and works for a bank, also on a course. So we started talking and one thing led to another. This girl had her phone on audio record the two times we got down and recorded all the audio of the shit we did.

My wife came visiting and of course I defined boundaries the moment wifey was around. A few days back I got high and dozed off, my wife got into my phone saw our chats. Her last chat to me, was regarding the audio. My wife followed through the convo and she sent two 24 minute audios.

Before I could wake, Wifey was already gone from the hotel. And when I checked my phone I saw a long epistle and screen shots of what happened. Now she has called my entire family, friends everybody I know. I am so ashamed of myself.

Is there anything I can do to have her back.
Can she ever forgive me.

I feel so bad having betrayed her.
Where do you work?
How did your wife know that you were in an hotel?

Simple: A mother beats up her daughter because she was drunk i.e her mother was drunk. If it the sentence had said "A mother beats up her daughter because her daughter was drunk", the daughter would have been the person drunk.

In this life not everybody you see really deserves a helping hand. I can tell you that some poor people are proud than some elites.
We once had a neighbour who we were very close to. As in family-friends. So one day i saw the trouser that my friend was wearing, the trouser was under-sized for him because he had grown taller than the trouser's length. And that is even one of his best trousers he wore to church.
l hope kiss 😘 and tell is not the reason? undecided

So one day i picked some of my favourites clothings and jeans trousers even palm shoes. I ironed the clothes and some trousers and presented it to him. He was very glad and happy and showed his mum, the woman pretended to be happy about it sha.

But till date, i have never seen my friend wearing anyone of them. The thing pain me o because i still loved the clothes and shoes i gave him. I am even confused maybe it is my friend or his mother that are ingrate. What do you call this type of attitude?

Happy new month! [/quote] I hope kiss 😘 and tell is not the reason? undecided

"My salary came Yesterday and immediately I received alert, I rushed to my husband and asked him how much he needs me to contribute after informing him that my salary has been paid.

Guy thought I was joking and mentioned a figure thinking I was going to contest because it was almost all my salary, I just carried my phone and transferred it to him.

It was doing him like film, I then went ahead to pay the salary of our children's lesson teacher so that he would stop thinking about it.

That's when I realized that he was doing so much without complaining He sees it like his duty and even when the financial burden is too much on him, he struggles to pay without asking me.

He was so surprised and happy, I know that my money is just a fraction of what he brings but he felt like I gave him millions.

I then told him that I am putting in the effort to make more money so that I can still reduce his stress. He didn't marry a responsibility and liability, he married a helper and he should be feeling more relaxed than when he was single.

I have never felt entitled to anybody's pocket and I won't do that with my husband.

Oh boy, guy rushed entered straight inside market without even telling me, stocked up the home.

Cooked and served me, this small support has gone a long way to settle silent quarrels that I didn't even know about.

I will keep working harder and doing my best, men also need support, they are not supermarket. Men need our support too ❤️♥️"

Nigerians have called out Vera Anyim, the lady who became famous because of the controversy that trailed her recent testimony at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja, for asking Nigerians for support in finding secure accommodation.

In a video that became viral on Thursday, Anyim who now describes herself as a celebrity called on Nigerians to help her secure a new accommodation.

Reacting to her call for help, several netizens expressed shock at her request, saying she should have priority in securing employment.

Jasper Aniet Louis, who tweets as @trueAFICIONADO, expressed concerns about how she would manage to pay the rent after the initial payment if Nigerians assist her in finding a place to live.

@trueAFICIONADO wrote, “Instead to look for employment, or business to do, na comfortable accommodation, she is looking for? Who will help continue the payment of the rent?

Another tweep, Alfred The Hermit who identifies as @OrokwaDas1, said her request should be to her pastor instead of forgiving him as compensation.

@OrokwaDas1 wrote, “The opportunity to get some cool cash from Yahoo pastor that defamed your character, you said your forgive, na Nigerians wey no do you anything, na us now go change your accommodation……sumthing dey worry you.”

Mine, who tweets as @Mr_PMO78 stated, “Dunamis Church is rich enough to get you an accommodation and not the strongly Nigerians.”

On the other hand, a Facebook user, Sonny Kilete called on Nigerians to sponsor her master’s degree, saying, “She should be helped with a scholarship for her master’s degree in the UK.”

Another user, Odey Marshal, stated, “Nigerians must finish what they have started. She is a divine project and can never be abandoned.”
