point of correction, Russia is not fighting against only ukraine but the entire EU and the US as well. Those ones are just using ukrainian soldiers as proxy but they are the ones supplying all the weapons and money ukraine is using for the war and it's still their military advisers that are coordinating the ukrainian military operations. Add to that all the sanctions they imposed on Russia and froze all russian assets then you will understand why the war has lasted this long. If you leave Russia and ukraine to fight one on one, ukraine won't last more than two weeks

This is different, ukraine is not buying anything, the US and EU are giving them highly sophisticated weapons that are way beyond what ukraine can afford, weapons that can match the Russians, the weapons they've already given to ukraine runs into hundreds of billions of dollars and they are still sending more, where will ukraine have gotten such money for weapons if the US and EU were not involved? The US is also using their satellites to monitor Russian military movements and informing the Ukrainians where and when to strike. EU and US military advisers are the ones directing the military operations on the ukrainian side so the Russians are literally fighting against the EU and US in ukraine. The only thing is that the EU and US don't have soldiers on the ground, they are using ukrainian soldiers as proxy to avoid a nuclear weapons confrontation with Russia.
