Hi knowledgeable people, I registered for IELTS yesterday and one of the payment methods is to use the state code plus the proposed month for writing the test and last two digits of international passport as account number. In my case, the account number is supposed to be 9952020691 since I'll be writing it in Lagos by September.
However, when I tried paying through mobile banking on gtbank, I was told that the account number does not exist. Please, how do I go about payment as I was given 5 days to effect the payment or lose my slot; I have 4days left?

You can go to GTBank and do the transfer at the bank. They may tell you the account number is invalid, but insist it is correct.

For Canadian immigration/application purpose, professional qualifications like the CFA, ICAN, ACCA do not give any points. These might serve some use when you have landed and are job hunting.

I have to disagree with you on ACCA not adding points to the EE profile. ACCA is evaluated by WES as equivalent to a bachelors degree.

I didn't see any drop down in the EE profile.
I added my two certificates in the profile I submitted

I just submitted my EE profile and I noticed the system calculated my score based on one bachelors certificate instead of two. How do I correct this?

1. Don't get anything complicated, i don't really support changing your passport in the middle of an application process, just do the affidavit and use it. I know people who did the same and had no problems. Just make sure you attach it to wherever its needed. I am planning to do the same for my bank account, I have a compound surname (maiden & married) on my bank account, and maiden on my passport. I used this same bank account for my UK PCC proof of address and attached the affidavit and there was no problem.

In this situation, I will suggest getting an affidavit of 'ONE AND SAME PERSON' and write both names in the affidavit. If you include 'AFFIDAVIT FOR NAME CHANGE', it means you have changed your name and that name is expected to reflect on your passport. So just get one and same person affidavit done, and use the name on your passport for your application, you can also write an LOE and attach it alongside the affidavit to wherever you feel its necessary in your application, like your reference letter placeholder with your reference letter.

I will like to clarify a few issues:

1. I am thinking of doing a new international passport with my married name, but I am worried that it may delay my submitting my EE profile once my ECA is ready. So I am wandering if it is possible to submit my EE profile with my current passport details and when I get the ITA update with my new passport, or I should just stick to the Affidavit of One and Same Person.

2. My husband just did the PCC, but going through this thread, I saw a few people mention that there is a blue form for male, and pink form for female. He came back with two white forms.

Good afternoon, and congratulations to all those at different stages on this journey to Canada.
I'm currently waiting for the ECA report for my husband and I, thanks to uni not yet responding to verification mail but we are trying to get our documents ready. I'm the PA, and I have a few questions to clarify:
My international passport and ECA are in my maiden name, while my reference letter from my work place is in my married name. Is it okay for me to present these documents with an affidavit for change of name. Note I still have a valid visa on this passport.
