You insinuated that Ike sacrificed himself fro Mercy and that's not true. Ike had about 1k coins while Mercy had 900, she had to sell her property to Mike to raise the remaining 100 coins.

Ike was never going to buy the immunity as he can't afford it, neither did he ever mention it. But Mercy asked him to support her which he did.

Only way you can say he sacrificed himself is if he had the complete 2k coins required to buy the immunity but instead gave it all to Mercy.
