ogododo: The National Chairman of the People Redemption Party, PRP, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has said that President Bola Tinubu is the worst leader Nigeria has ever had.
Speaking during an interview on Symfoni TV, Baba-Ahmed said the North will be finished if Tinubu wins the 2027 general elections.
The PRP chairman also blasted Tinubu for differing with the ‘true’ position of the Catholic Bishops when they had a meeting with him at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, stating that the President’s denial of the issues raised by the bishops despite clear evidence, underscores his ineffectiveness as a leader.
He equally criticized Tinubu over his ‘poor’ performance, alleging a disconnect between the government and the people
“The North will be finished if Tinubu wins in 2027. He’s the worst President ever in the history of Nigeria. The problem is the disconnect between the government and the people.
“Catholic bishops went to the President. These are highly respected people. He must have thought that it would be a good outing for him. Otherwise, he wouldn’t even have agreed to meet them.
“They went to him, politely said to him, Mr President, the people are not happy with you. They are hungry. They are insecure. There are a lot of problems running in the country.
“For every issue the bishops raised, the President said, no, you are wrong. I am right. There is no hunger in this country, what you are saying is not true. Now, for goodness’ sake, a President in charge of his faculties, in charge of a country that should have prepared him, would not do this,” he said.

Before removing subsidy, a true leader would’ve called a meeting of all governors and made a deal with them: so so so percentage of the revenue must be dedicated to so so so intervention scheme in every state.
Then he would’ve used the house of assembly to make some things law.
This takes only 6 months of intensive meetings and lobbying, if you’re truly working for the people and not your cronies. Your governor cannot think for himself, he requires the President to tell him what to do for his people, then you will wait till eternity if you think the president should be the one to start guiding your governor like nannie on what to do |

They became the judge and jury in that case. After every every, they were now billing us both. Na so me and the guy change am for them. Our cooperation on that subject scared them, las las, shishi we no pay because other road users joined to chase them away.
I just shook my head at the level of lawlessness that Lagos state government has encouraged. The only thing left for these urchins is to be invading our homes and be demanding for monthly protection levy. Shebi the government is acting deaf and blind to this menace. By the time lawlessness becomes the order of the day, perhaps they will address the issue.
#Picks_tooth Will you keep kwayet, if you understand the configuration of Nigeria and how delicate each region need to operate you will know that Agbero are necessary evil that is needed at this time. The North keep and protect their standby Army in the name of bandit and Boko Haram, the SE nurture I-POB and defend them, the SS have creek boys with sophisticated weapon, but you want SW not to have his emergency Army in case of any eventuality. Just keep whining yourself, when you remove all the criminal you are using to further your interest, you can come to discuss the Agbero in SW, but for now let everyone nurture their defense police in peace. AustineE1: There are street boys in all states in Nigeria but the difference between other states and Lagos,is that miscreants operate with fear in other states and are always arrested and dealth with. While in Lagos Alaye boys(street urchins) operate with reckless abandon, they have sense of entitlement, they allegedly have the backings of the government, they seem to be encouraged in Lagos because they are mostly useful during elections,in a bid to preserve a particular man's tight grip on governance of Lagos. They area boys are gradually taking over Lagos, they forcefully collect money from residents, they scare visitors away with their shameless and forceful begging. In Lagos any well connected Alaye is adored and respected, they move with pride and sense of ownership of Lagos. Is a big shame! Lagos seems though like a system state that encourages street boyism and miscreants. Be sincere between the Agbero at Upper Iweka and Agbero in Lagos which one are more deadly. Be sincere for one, you won't die if you talk true |

Politics › Re: Nigeria Cannot Afford The Lagos- Calabar Highway; - Donald Duke by Ttalk: 10:28am On Aug 05 |
9jatriot: Duke should be more intelligent than this. Things like this should be left for lamba king.
Nigeria should not be afraid to demand that their leaders do more and not tell them that they are doing too much. If an ex-governor of Cross Rivers State is condemning a project coming to his state whereas no Northerner is condemning the Badagry-Sokoto highway or the railway going to Niger, then, as many others have said, there is something fundamentally wrong with Southerners.
During the time of Amaechi, a proposal was sent before Saraki led National Assembly for loans for railway development; there was an uproar accros the nation. Fayose even went as far as going to China to try and convince them not to grant the PPP loan.
By the time the uproar was over, the Northerners had ensured that the railways in their region was not cancelled, while clowns like Abaribe ensured that the ones in the South East were not approved. Today, the Northerners have at least one ongoing rail project running through Kano-Kastina-Maradi
South South has been crying poor infrastructural development since time immemorial but now the only drop in the ocean, a respected person like Duke is join clowns to condemn it. This is really shameful Thank you for this contribution. This is the first time in history of Nigeria where the opposition will be begging the government that they don't want infrastructure. These are same people crying that port in SS receive low patronage yet they don't want road that will create accessibility for a thriving port business, how many truck can the existing road in that region accommodate when port activities increase in. Calabar port and other ports in the SS? It is a shame to have someone like Donald Duke to have been a governor of Cross River with this type of retard mindset |
