Most women who see blood when they are pregnant are either spotting and should go the hospital to rule out any danger signs, or are going through implantation bleeding.

Wait until two weeks after your period and test again but if what you saw was your regular flow ( quantity of blood and number of days), it's likely that you're not pregnant.

I have been reading and decided to create my account today.

I just want to ask a question.

Can you see your period and still test positive for pregnancy?

I had my period last week 10th till Wednesday but I have been having all kinds of symptoms of being pregnant. I just want to know before I go ahead and get over the counter drugs for malaria.

My expected date for this month was September 10. On September 9, I had these sharp noticeable pains on the left side of my tummy.

On the 10th, I saw my period which was later in the evening.

For the days I had my period I wasn't feeling so fine, cramps and the likes.

On the 6th of my cycle, I started having symptoms of Malaria and sore nipples. Mind you I did a pregnancy test which came up negative.

Now that I am having Malara(Headache, running nose, bitter mouth, frequent urination, body temperature).

Is there a possibility that I am pregnant or should I just get anti Malaria drugs to use?

Can one still see her period and test positive for pregnancy too?
