Lionessza6: I get what you're saying. But he isn't the only person going through whatever he was going through....yet he chose murder. And he should be held responsible for his actions and not pitied . There are millions of people out there in bad relationships or marriages and they don't murder people, they walk away and he didn't. No excuses here. He is a criminal. I am sure he didn't set out to murder but situation can change so quickly. Possibly he was provoked and he couldn't walk away so easily. Very unfortunate. |

Esthered: Why didn't the wife take her mum away from her home when she must have seen that her mum and husband don't get along well. It is the fault of the wife. She didn't manage the relationship between her husband and her mum very well. She must have been feeding her mum with wrong information about her husband. Some mother in law can be difficult and even behave as if they are the wife. God help us to control our anger in these times. |

Earthstorms: You are so wrong. Diabetes can be reversed and people are reversing it through diet.
Once the insulin sensitivity is restored through appropriate diet, you can eat all foods in moderation. So if you are reversed you can begin to eat Pounded Yam, drink Malt and all those bad food.? Go and do your research. Reverse means that you will not need to be taking diabetic drugs again once you stick to your diet. |

Earthstorms: The responses shows that none of the above responders have ever successfully treated diabetes.
Op what is the reason for your question?
Do you want to reverse the diabetes so that the patient becomes diabetic free or do you want to just manage the diabetes so that it does not get worse?
If you want to reverse the diabetes, then go on the keto diet for 6 months the diabetes will go away if there is minimal carbohydrates in the diet for that long.
If you just want to manage the diabetes without curing it, then just reduce carbohydrates and eat proteins, fats and fibres.
My simple advice to manage diabetes is to eat soups and stews alone and avoid all swallows and grains. You can't get it wrong with this approach. Diabetes doesn't go away. Once you start eating the same food that makes you diabetes, it comes back. |

Upon all the Great Fela Anikulapo Kuti's struggles for a better Nigeria for you, I and unborn generations, it's his hemp smoking and many wives that makes you not to recognise his dogedness. Indeed, illiterates of the 201st century are not those who cannot read and right. What is rubbish talk there. Fela was unruly beating and maiming innocent people just passing by his shrine, destroying the lives of innocent young girls with hemp and drugs. He was completely lawless and he paid heavily for it. Had he set good examples for his children, they would have followed his role model. He had opportunity to lead a better live but he chose a path of destruction loosing all his wealth, his mum and killed himself with HIV. |

Everyone, Every country had rights to defend himself, herself and itself.
The west has no rights to dictate to Iran how Iran is going to defend herself against Israelli and western nuclear weapons. It is Iran you have to blame. They said they want to wipe off Israel from the face of the earth. Anyone in Israel shoe will do what they are doing especially with their previous experience of holocaust |

Hemanwel: I don't know why England parted with Gareth Southgate. Man has given them one of the best results they could get in recent times. From taking the team to the first semi-finals of the WC since 1966, to getting to back-to-back finals of the Euros. Even Zlatko Dalic of Croatia hasn't done close to what Southgate had done for England, yet he still retains his job as the coach of Croatia.
I guess this is what you get when a nation is filled with too many football pundits. But Gareth is the one that resigned. He wasn't fired. |

Okay. It isn't 4 years yet though. But are you not aware that the man just pressed the "reset botton" We are starting from the scratch and the next person to come in won't do miracles This is the excuse that they always use that the" next person to come in won't do miracles" but Nigeria is full of talented people and Tinubu is not the best leader we can produce. We have people who can turn things around more quickly, who can more transparent, not corrupt and also able to deal with corruption. We haven't had a good leader in this country apart from Muritala Mohammed and Tunde Idiagbon. |

MightySparrow: This is issue of deception not money. Why didn't the husband tell her the truth from the onset? If the woman wasn't comfortable with such union, she would have another man and the man would have another woman.
How many more children has the man in secrecy? This is a woman, what if the woman has problem of child bearing and the husband feels indifferent? What is her fate?
I think your position is callous. |

Free2Fly: Probably because you aren't able to judge things and reach a decision on your own.
What offence did people who just wanted to help the impoverished, hungry and beleaguered Nigerians commit?
The organizers triggered the stampede by themselves intentionally??
Or you don't understand how stampedes happen and that it has happened in several places in the past despite good security arrangements or that even the security men themselves when present can trigger off a stampede where there is a huge crowd of hungry and desperate people? Let us reason well. You are expecting 5000, they should have asked the question what if more than 5000 turned up what do we do ?. It has happened before. They should have sat down and decides what remedy should they put in place. "Ore a ma da ibi " if we are not careful. |

Now tell me from an unbiased standpoint, what could the organisers have done? So who is responsible for the death of the 35 children . Are we going to arrest the crowd that caused it ?. The organisers should have sit done and assess this risk and put in place measures to prevent it from happening. They were naive in their approach. They and the society should learn from it so that it doesn't happen again. This is how the society grow. Come December 2025 people will do it better. aariwa: This is what we could have enjoyed in Nigeria. Electronic, free, fair and credible elections that would have inspired Nigeria and black race to acknowledge Nigeria as giant of Africa. Real democracy through free and fair elections is the bedrock of progress and development as a nation in the sense that Nigeria boasts of one of the best brains you will find in most western institutions today but can’t contribute to make Nigeria great due to our electoral system. Without fixing our electoral system, 200 years from today Nigeria will not make progress but get worse. Our abysmally corrupt electoral system recycles greedy criminals and greed is an incurable disease. Imagine after rigging of last years elections Wole Soyinka came out to support the anomaly while same man condemned US 2016 elections, Bolaji Akinyemi did the same viz US 2024 elections, Clergy Adeboye supported it, called it spiritual problem and call for prayers etc then you begin to get an idea where the biggest problem of Nigeria as a country is coming from Thank you so much . God bless you with more understanding. We have Nigerians doing brilliantly all over the world yet we choose the worst of us to be head of state. Until we fix electoral processes and bring transparency into it , we are not going anywhere. |

Caseless: I've always said it; the easiest way you can have peace and keep your blood pressure in checks is to give up on Nigeria. If Nigeria gets better having given up on her, It's better. But hoping on her while you don't see sign of Nigeria getting better, that's where the danger lies to you and your health.
What goes bad yesterday is different from what will go bad tomorrow - It's from one thing going bad to another every minute.
We don't have the national resolve to do the right thing; it's always about the individual interest or personal gains. No national value.
Everyone want to get into the system to get their own share and leave every other person to suffer.
Look at the power situation that led to you missing promotional exam. It's an every day thing. Then grid collapsed and everywhere went dark.
They said there's an attack on transmission lines and 16 states in the north are without electricity for the past 9 days, we have not addressed that issue. We don't have any alternative to fall back on when situation goes out of plans. If we can't manage this kind of man-made situation, what do you think would be the situation if nature had put us in any space prone to earthquakes or natural disaster.
We're not prepared for anything, not even a pandemic. We're only ready to ready to steal and destroy. It's a sad situation. As a Nigerian, I feel like a man whose only child is not doing well in life. It's constant sadness.
We're a confused nation. But that is the philosophy of Tinubu that is ruling us. "Iwo a ri tie se lasiko temi" (You will succeed during my regime) . His regime is for individual to be successful not the whole country. Individualism and selfish approach which has always been our problem. We are not concerned about what happened to our schools, roads, health system, our youth etc |
