Politics / Re: How EFCC Is Destroying The Economy With Its Excesses. My Case Study. by tudor900: 8:05am On Dec 08, 2018
bolethings:
I would appreciate if you would be kind enough to read through before making assumptions. You can attack the message but not my person.

As much as I really want all the heartless, corrupt and selfish who have held down my beloved country to rot in jail. I would necer succumb to an anti corruption war style of the current EFCC. Give it to Magu, he's a bitter man as he admitted the very week he was initially nominated by the president in 2015. He made it clear that corrupt elements are actually best kept behind bars for life and I couldn't agree more. When someone diverts money meant for hospitals or roads which would benefit countless into his pocket. I agree such persons deserves a bullet to the forehead. However, what I detest is the virtually lack of strategy and noise making the EFCC has been known for in the last few years.

I'm actually also bitter right now that in it's bid to show off and claim it is actually working, the EFCC is actually causing more damage without a reasonable well thought strategy to all it's programs.

Recently, all new business account holders are subjected to getting a so called scuml certificate at www.scuml.org , I have been using corporate accounts for 10 years now and because I needed to open another account in order is to help a friend who just got employed in a bank, it has been hell for the past 2 months. Normally banks confirm your company is duly registered with the corporate affairs commission before you can get their cheque book and you actually have to pay the banks for that. Search fee they call it.

I opened the new account, got a cheque book and expectedly I gave the account to clients. I had a new invention and I was able to get 300 interested distributors, however as a new product, they were all afraid to make payments for the products and just one of them did while others said once he gets the goods and customers give good feedbacks they'll pay for theirs also. 2 months now, I can't access the money neither do I have the trust of other interested distributors because the guy who paid has been telling everyone he hasn't gotten anything. This is because the account has been blocked with bank insisting I must get a scuml certificate, I've filled the form online, submitted documents at the EFCC office, done so much and I have been asked to come back next week for over 5 weeks now. Wasting money and time. Expectedly my gain should be not less than 20k on each distributor and I had plans to employ at least 10 new workers to ensure we keep up production. I can't do that now because the person who even paid hasn't gotten anything in 2 months yet EFCC told me yesterday they are awaiting confirmation from CAC on the company's certificate. That's 7 weeks after I submitted the application. The bank is also saying they can't release the funds because they'll have to pay a fine of N2m to the EFCC.

I was shocked yesterday when I saw almost 150 people, some even coming from Abuja because according to them scuml certificate is only issued in Lagos so if you open an account anywhere in the country, you have to come to Lagos. Many said they've been to Lagos more than twice just because they need to open account.

I felt so humiliated when I heard the government now saying it takes 2 days to register a company but in truth you would not even be able to use the account for atleast 2 months due to EFCCs overbearing and overreaching excesses. After all if you register a company you open an account in the company's name.

I regret ever considering President Buhari for this top job, because while President Jonathan was in charge, he was solely blamed for the excesses of his aides and appointees, now that President Buhari is in charge, it's only fair we serve him the same as he did his predecessor. I am sorry but I don't think President Buhari is fit enough for that office, forget his health, this government lacks innovative ideas that the country badly needs right now. We have more pressing concerns as a nation that shouting corruption everytime, they claim we are world's top 3 producers of rice but suddenly after a month Lake rice disappeared from the markets.

I am speaking from personal experience and I can only wish this isn't affecting too many businesses. My client is threatening to report me to the Police and I can't blame him. I paid for adverts, halls, refreshment and even had to travel to 5 states showcasing my innovation before I could convince people to be distributors. My only mistake was opening a new account and trying to expand business while Magu was still in charge. I hope these dullards and incompetent power mongers won't destroy this country with their noise making and no action attitudes. God bless Nigeria.

So how far bro. Whats your latest experience about this?
Have you been able to access your account?
Its a shame how government cannot put their heads together to assist or promote well meaning, honest Nigerians who are striving to make a decent living out of legitimate means. All they do is promise us fake next level and promote thieves and corrupt people. Its a shame bro

yes i know. but in this case, you dont have to start selling anything apart from showing your initial pack to people. come to think of it, you can market the product and earn money. I suppose you use close up and irish spring to brush and bathe, have you ever been rewarded for using any of them?
The person marketing me has reached managerial level, and just collected 5mills last month, part of which is 2,000 pounds due to her marketing some foreigners. She used to be a medical doctor but now says she doesnt even know if she can administer injection again. Anyway i am willing to take the risk, im also into businesses. I run a cybercafe, and presently looking for a way to start football viewing center. Life is all about risk, what if I invest 120,000 (in my own case) and lost all, wel that's part of life. life must continue. What if i was never born, or if i never had the chance of making hundreds of thousands, or am i garage boy, or an orphan,
, but what if it clicks, then that adds to the part of the ways i earn money. No big deal, life must continue.
Please key in, i say again, and if you want to wait to see my testimonies (good or bad), then you'l be my guest.
Its alright, everything is going to be well, as long as you dont stop believing.

Hi all,
If you are considering setting up a cybercafe in Oyo, Lagos or Ogun state, please contact me on 08076354490.
The uniqueness of my setup is that you don't have to worry about putting an anti virus and the troublesome update of the anti virus on both client and server systems.
The server will run on virus attack-free Linux platform, while the clients run windows xp. the hard drive of each client systems will be locked so that even if 1 million viruses were introduced to your cafe deliberately or by the use of flash, a simple reboot (restart) of the system will clear away all the viruses. This happens every time you restart the system.
Any file left on the system including all viruses will disappear after a restart.
This is an efficient way of running a cybercafe as it ensures that all your client and server systems are up and running every time (24-7).

My services are also flexible. If you want me to come in on the networking and configuration of servers and clients only, or if you want me to supply everything, you can choose.
There are plans for all you want to do on cybercafe setup
Contact me on 08076354490 or mail me on babalowo00@yahoo.com

Note: This mail was sent with the presumption that you know about the profitability of cybercafe business. However if you are wondering how lucrative the business is and the stress involved, send me a mail with you inquiries, I will be willing to let you into the in and out of the business.

Jobs/Vacancies / Want To Setup A Supermarket With Barcode Scanning System? (oyo, Ogun, And Lagos) by tudor900: 10:44am On Aug 20, 2011
Hi all,
In case you want to setup a barcode scanning system in a supermarket, and you are wondering how to do that, then your problems are half solved. The remaining part rests on you.
In case you don't know much about barcode system, the following is a brief on the system.

A barcode system in a supermarket is a system that allows you to efficiently manage your inventories in a store, track you goods within the store, and make correct decisions based on your current stock that you have.

In case of a supermarket, a barcode can make the running of a supermarket easier. This is how it works, normally I presume you've seen how it works in a supermarket.
A customer walks into a supermarket, picks some items and shows it to the cashier.
The cashier takes the items shows the barcode on the item to a device (barcode scanner), the system calls up the product, item number, price and other information related to the item and notes it.
The cashier shows the other items to the system and the system calls up the product in that manner.
After the cashier has shown the last item to the scanner, the total cost is displayed on the screen, the cash drawer is opened and receipt is generated automatically, and the system records the transaction against the account of the cashier that completed the transaction.
The manager just connects to the database and review the transaction summary performed by his cashiers.

If you need to setup a system like that, and you are in Southwest region, send me a mail on bpitecks@gmail.com

Thanks and God bless.

In addition to the above topic,
Please read below.
I have created different packages to make things easier for my customers.
If you have any questions, you can reach me through any of these media:
bpitecks@gmail.com, babalowo00@yahoo.com

BARCODE SOLUTIONS
Vendors charge differently for various reasons. Some vendor charge for training, programming, transportation, accommodation and the actual job. This approach is not very scalable as it does not have the customer in mind.
We in BPI have different packages for the barcode solutions we provide.
We have basic All-in-One package, alpha package and premium package. They are discussed below.
A. Basic All-in-One package.
In this package, the customer will have the following delivered and installed:
1. Barcode scanner for scanning barcode labels on goods items
2. Receipt printer for printing customer receipts
3. Designer software for generating custom labels in case items that doesnt have barcode labels needs to be sold
4. A Pc (not new) comprising flat screen monitor, desktop system unit (with windows xp OS), keyboard and mouse
5. A fully functional POS software
Please contact me for this package price.
In BPI, the customer pays for the package and the bar-coding solution is simply deployed at the fastest pace possible. We dont have extra charges for anything else. The customer will be well trained on how to use the solution and will be able to do basic troubleshooting. There will also be remote support via emails and phones. Even, if the job could not be completed that same day, and there is a need to continue the following day, there will not be extra charges.
Everything in this package comes new, with the exception of the pc. The reason for not using a new pc is to prevent the price from not escalating beyond reasonable limit.

B. Alpha package
In this package, all the packages in the basic All-in-One will be available to the customer but with additional pc system and a client/server access of the POS software.
This package is a good option if the business manager wishes to be able to monitor sales, track inventories, and be informed about what is going on, in and around his business from the comfort of his office within the same building.
In this package, the customer will have the following delivered and installed:
1. Barcode scanner for scanning barcode labels on goods items
2. Receipt printer for printing customer receipts.
3. Designer software for generating custom labels in case items that doesnt have barcode labels needs to be sold
4. Two Pcs (not new) comprising flat screen monitors, desktop system units (with windows xp OS), keyboards and mouses.
5. A fully functional POS software with client/server access.
6. Networking equipment, comprising network switch, and cabling to each pc point.
Please contact me for this package price.
This package can be altered if the customer wishes to pay for the basic All-in-One package and wants to implement Alpha package. The customer will have to provide the extra pc required and the networking equipment required as addition to the basic All-in-One package. Provided this condition is met, the alpha package will be implemented for the customer at no extra cost.
In BPI, the customer pays for the package and the bar-coding solution is simply deployed at the fastest pace possible. We dont have extra charges for anything else. The customer will be well trained on how to use the solution and will be able to do basic troubleshooting. The will also be remote support via emails and phones. Even, if the job could not be completed that same day, and there is a need to continue the following day, there will not be extra charges.
Everything in this package comes new, with the exception of the pc. The reason for not using a new pc is to prevent the price from not escalating beyond reasonable limit.
C. Premium package
In this package, the customer will have access to all the items in basic All-in-One package but will have access to more than two pcs in addition to networking equipments. For instance, the customer might require that he/she needs an access point (pc access to the pos software for monitoring the cashier), and few more terminals for the various cashiers in the building performing various kinds of sales to their customers.
This kind of package will require more than two pcs and lots of networking. This package is a custom package and is dependent on what the customer wants. There is no fixed price for this package. The pricing is negotiable and is dependent on what the customer wants.

The only thing the customer might need is the printer for generating tags. This is intentionally left out of package in additional to the one above to keep the price from escalating, however if the customer so wishes, the cost can be factored in.

Tudor
