On Tuesday, April 13, 2021, nothing could stop players in a league game in Turkey from breaking their fast.

After hearing the evening call to prayer at sunset, the Ankara Keciorengucu players took advantage of a timeout in the first half to break their fast.
In a clip shared by broadcaster beIN Sports, players in Turkey’s second division are seen kneeling on the field, eating dates and bananas.

The players took advantage of the fact that the stoppage coincided with the call to prayer.

Some social media users speculated that the injured player, a goalkeeper, feigned an injury to force a stoppage.

Muslims fast during the daylight hours during Ramadan, which started on Tuesday in Nigeria.

Those who fast eat a meal before sunrise, known as Suhoor, and then go without food and water until sunset, when they eat an Iftar meal.

The Senegalese international goalkeeper penned a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge in September 2020, joining the squad to compete with Kepa Arrizabalaga and Willy Caballero for a starting spot between the posts.
Born in Montivilliers in northern France, Mendy began his career at AS Cherbourg in the Championnat National, the third tier of French football, and remained with the Normandy-based club until 2014.

Following a brief spell at Marseille B without making an appearance, the goalkeeper began to move up the footballing pyramid in 2016 by joining Reims and quickly established himself as the first choice between the sticks.


His impressive and consistent performances for Les Rouges et Blancs resulted in him lifting the first silverware of his career, when Reims captured the Ligue 2 title in 2018 and conceded just 24 goals that term, the lowest in the league.

After three years at Reims, Mendy moved on and joined Rennes ahead of the 2019/20 season. In his first campaign at Roazhon Park, the 6ft 5in goalie kept 13 clean sheets and conceded just 31 goals in 33 games before the season was ended prematurely due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He helped Rennes qualify for the Champions League for the first time last season, with the French club finishing third in Ligue 1. Mendy had European club competition experience under his belt already, having featured in four Europa League games in 2019/20.


His father is of Guinea-Bissau descent and Mendy did actually represent that country in a friendly match against Portugal in 2016. He declined an invitation to commit to playing for Guinea-Bissau at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and later made his debut for Senegal in 2018.

every worker was registered to a gym.

they don't care about your dressing - just ensure it is neat. if you like, wear boxers.

we were always having tgifs every last friday of the month at the office ( and every birthday celebrant for that month will be given a big cake individually).

every team was given a specific amount of money every month for team bonding(they can choose any location they like to go and flex with the money).

the office door was an electronic door, so you can walk in anytime of the day, place your finger on the fingerprint scanner to open the door (i been dey go concerts and night parties wella. no matter the time, i go just go office, crash till morning).

there was a lounge where one can even sleep till working hours.

the icing on the cake was my boss .
he was very nice and lovely.
my teammates and I were even saying that we might quit the job if they send him to china.

We may have experienced one thing or the other while carrying out our activities in work places owned by Chinese individuals and we definitely must have experienced either sweet or harsh conditions. As for me, my Boss is fond using the statements below which she is always serious with-

'Nigeria has plenty workers (many jobless people looking for jobs), if you cannot work, collect your salary and go!' In cases like this, i just try to put in my best and make sure i seek better opportunities.

I have also noticed that they have no job descriptions for their jobs, you are made to work in all departments at once or at intervals and some do not have a well described closing time.
Also, they do not care your dressing type, just do your job diligently and seriously.
