I am sure Nigerians took advantage of these bumper discounts that were on these two sites all through today, with Konga Sim Shagaya tweeting about the highest traffic to their site because of Yakata sales.

Of course Jumia wasn't left behind, everyone i know stayed up late to get the bonanza priced Samsung S5 and PS4.

Nigerians let's air our opinions about these Thanksgiving sales' offers on these two sites.

let the game begin....

am just gonna press the ignore button for you. I think Jumia just paid you and I know people like you well. acute ignorance mixed with pride is your problem.

shekina.

seyithug:

Bros, I went over your thread, and it's same issues. You could have returned the phone to Jumia, instead of creating a thread to disparage the product. Or did Jumia not tell you they accept returns? If you ever loved the device before you ordered it, you won't want to quickly rubbish it as soon as you got it and started looking for faults, which you eventually found.
You complained of a damaged SD card (you said it's internal memory), that's enough grounds for you to return the phone to Jumia to fix or replace, but you didn't.
Not enough memory? That issue was addressed by Innjoo on their own site within a few weeks of several user complaints, and an update was made available which reduced the user storage memory to 4gb and added 3GB to ROM, for apps storage, while still maintaining 1GB RAM for the smooth running of apps. And then you go on with your spurious claims that the update was FAKE, and users shouldn't have been asked to flash their own phones? Like, in 2014, seriously?. Then, you complained about call quality undecided... Android is an open system, for a lot of reasons. It's not your average phone where you just browse, chat and make calls and go. You own the system, learn to tweak it....or better still, return it, and go back to good old Nokia or Blackberry...where everything has already been thought out for you. Meanwhile, it's a 14k phone, and you do get what you pay for. Don't expect SGS4, BB Z30 or Lumia 1530 quality on a 14k phone. Nobody would buy the premium phones, if the cheaper ones have the same quality. Go for premium, not cheap, whenever/where you can afford it. Meahwile, it is noteworthy too to know that THERE IS NO PERFECT PHONE.....Even the Blackberry Porsche has its own faults. Apple Macbook Air has its own set of problems. Bentley Continental S luxury cars have their own problems. Where there are issues, they are fixed, from ROM supports to recalls. Deal with it. Nothing in Technology is perfect.

Stop whining. Tell us you hate the phone and we'll believe you, but to be coming up with so much fallacious excuses is unacceptable.

i think acute pride mixed with ignorance is your problem. So if i buy my toyota brand new from Elizade and the car manufacturer, Toyota, admits the car has a fault, do i return it to Toyota or i return to Elizade to return to Toyota and sort me out. If you can't get retail stores to fix whatever bad product they sold you and you cool, that is you. I have the muscle to 'wrestle' with them. So let's start.

For your info, Jumia is a retailer of these phones if you dont know. If you doubt, go on Innjoo website http://www.innjoo.com and see for yourself. Or where else in naija can you buy an Innjoo phone.

DNDROID:
so that's what you really think?

let me ask you this, did you read your receipts?

what did they say?

I have been reading this thread and chose to not comment on your gross negligence and unnecessary brand assassination..
only for you to finally extend it to Jumia...

let me ask you this:
did Jumia tell you that they make/import the phones?
did konga tell you that they make/import the Zero phone?

why have you not assassinated Konga brand
and all the companies/super markets/shops that ever sold you a faulty product?

Jumia is a shopping mall not a phone manufacturer or importer...

and if you had told Jumia,
they would have helped you get a new one from the company or even given you back your money as is stated on your receipt...

as the saying goes "don't kill the messenger"...

well i just spoke with a male customer care agent from Jumia called Jonathan. He promised to set up a procedural recall and replacement for monday. I hope it is that easy and they will just change these products.

I think they need to contact all their customers that bought the first set of phones on Jumia that has these faults and set up a recall, it will give their platform a good image.
Phones / Re: Before You Buy The Innjoo Phones On Sale On Jumia.com, Please Read This. by tuncetila(m): 9:28am On Oct 31, 2014
well the number problem is damaged sd card. Now if am using the phone and the ba3 runs out, it goes off right? Yes. But once i boot it back on after charging i get damaged sd card error. Some peopel have compalined about this on their Facebook page but they haven't come up with a solution to that. I have someone with the same phone who is not having this problem of damaged sd card though but he has the memory problem.it goes to show the poor quality tests performed before these phones were brought into Nigeria by Jumia. Varying degrees of problems for different customers.

Jumia will be hearing from me very soon.
Nsonaso:

Please bro... Can you explain that number 1 in a more simpler nd clear terms... I just bought i1s for a friend and the phone seems to be having a memory issues like you said though i termed it as a bad SD Card
Phones / Re: Before You Buy The Innjoo Phones On Sale On Jumia.com, Please Read This. by tuncetila(m): 9:24am On Oct 31, 2014
well said bro. but i think am gonna take Jumia up on this and this will make wave if they dont answer me cos the phone manufacturer has accepted there were faults on the phones. i dont know why jumia wouldn't recall them back afterall Ford and Toyota have been recalling cars sold with faults. And Jumia better not ask me for my receipt cos they are just the only retailer for Innjoo phones in Nigeria. Where else could I have gotten the phones. I have over three Innjoo phones, i1s and i2, with the faults.

Leobreezy:
@op Thanks for creating the thread and alerting others who may want to purchase the phone. Some peeps may be experiencing the problems you've stated either about the injoo or another brand but may be ashamed to say them because they've finished singing songs of praise about the phone all over the threads here on phone section, and all over the Internet sef. I must say though that's the risk in quickly acquiring a newly released phone the moment it comes out, and unfortunately people keep making that same mistake over and over again. Some just get easily swayed by the hyperbolic descriptions some deceitful guys here on nairaland use and quickly jump for it only to see it has faults and that the same guys who nugged them on to buy it have sold theirs to get another one. Chasing after the wind. Y'all shouldn't rush to buy a phone even if it seems so awesome, relax keep watching the thread and see if any complaints are made about it. We wouldn't have so much complaints on the infinix zero thread if people had only exercised patience.
Phones / Re: Innjoo I2s Vs Infinix Zero Gold by tuncetila(m): 10:26pm On Oct 30, 2014
Innjoo has its own problems too. I bought the phone the week it cam out on Jumia. see my thread here https://www.nairaland.com/1974585/before-buy-innjoo-phones-sale

Kamaye:
I would pick innjoo I2s ahead of infinix zero, go to infinix thread and see complaints, sim slot, very fragile screen, hotness and poor battery. Meanwhile the only problem I read on innjoo thread is battery.

bro, some of the things you said about Innjoo i2s are wrong. I wrote a thread on the problems of Innjoo phones https://www.nairaland.com/1974585/before-buy-innjoo-phones-sale but that doesn't mean Innjoo is totally bad.

the Innjoo i2s front camera is 5MP while the rear camera is 13MP. i think you mixing the specs of the i2 for i2s. they are different. Innjoo has i1,i1s, i2, i2s. pls check and besure before u mislead nairalanders.

safas20:
Injoo i2s can't stand Infinix zero in any way, here are the point you need to know because I used the both phone and knows the best, let stop deceiving our selves,
1. injoo is2 comes with 4.4 now decieve people that it is upgradable to 4.4.2 while Infinix zero comes with 4.4.2 still upgradeable to any version yet to be released!
2. injoo is2 runs on 1gb ram while the latest Infinix zero runs with 2gb ram, fire in speed
3. injoo is2 is a single sim support with dual sim functionality which means I can use my 3g service on both, while Infinix zero runs on an H+ service on both sim slot
4. injoo is2 doesn't support Gyroscope sensor but Infinix zero supports, for infinix zero users, u can testify to the dancing tree that reacts to surrounding music and react to breeze blown to it
5. injoo is2 has plastic cover at the back while Infinix zero has corning gorilla glass both front and back
6. injoo is2 has only 5.0 tourch screen capacity while infinix zero has 5.0 inches, 720 x 1280 pixels, 294 pixels per
inch (PPI)
7. injoo is2 has only one band equalizer which still have the same old MP3 AMR, WAV AAC,
MP3,MIDI,OGG… player while Infinix zero has 4 band equalizers and run on latest media extensions
8. 2mp front camera with 5 mp back camera is what injoo iS2 has while Infinix zero has 2mp front camera with 13mp autofocus camera at the back which has the power to turn night picture to daylight pix, Infinix also has the 13MP, up to 4128 x 3096-pixel pictures
camera, HDR, Geo-tagging, auto focus camera
with LED flash
9. injoo is2 has 1900 battery capacity while Infinix zero has 1920 battery capacity with autosaver support which make ur battery last looooong
10. Infinix zero has this - SNS integration – MP4/MPEG4/H.263/H.264
player
– MP3/WAV/eAAC+/AC3/FLAC player
– Document viewer
– Image viewer and editor
– Voice memo/dial/command
– Predictive text input which injoo don't have
while downloading with Infinix zero, it has the 2G – up to 236.8
kbps
3G Up to 21 mbs downlink; Up to 5.76 mbs uplink
while injoo is2 has Up to 100kpbs downloads speeds on 2G
networks
Up to 24.57mpbs downloads speeds on 3G

Since when I bought my Tecno H7 phone in July I never had any problem with it, including the ones highlighted by the Op. Take it or leave it, Tecno is doing a good job with their phones.

well i still can't verify your claim about new set of i1s phones on Jumia. But if that's true, what about those of us that Jumia sold a very bad product to.

Heeboy94:

Well, those are the 1st set of Innjoo phones that were made. The 1st set only had those problems u stated, buh am not sure of the loudspeaker thing u mentioned.

Although Innjoo corrected the errors by rolling out new i1s phones, which no longer have memory issues because that's the one I bought from Jumia. That is why Innjoo users here do not complain of "Low Memory" issue except battery.

Like I said earlier, I do not experience ANY problem since I started using this phone
