Well, what I see is that: its either you re not a christian or u re an unlearned one: Every Christian ought to av a local church where he/she is committed, taught, corrected, rebuked... However for muslims, its not so...
Eph4:11-16, 2tim4:1-3

You don't become a christian by association or inheritance! You aint a Christian if you are not born again! That is to say: if our dear presi aint born again, committed to a local church where he is submitting to! He is simply not diff from the other guy whose end is ....

So they should stop deceiving us with some sort of I'm a christian!

EducationRe: Is I.Q (intelligence Quotient) Hereditary? by tuncy(op): 5:18pm On Nov 20, 2014
christejames:
...yea, I also have a friend in my department who is very brilliant (he doesn't read much to pass also) and his parents are equally brilliant. I also did a research for my cousin sister (who is a teacher) on 'parental influence on children's intelligence' (or something like that) and found out that children of educated parents tend to perform better than those that are not educated because the educated ones know the value of being educated thereby making sure their children are educated. My take is on student that comes from poor background with their parents relatively educated but still have high IQ, the environment such student finds himself would push him/her to excel in any competition of academic, from the example u gave to stenon above, the children of the professor might find themselves in the environment where other children care less about education and this would adversely affect their IQ whereas the children of parents with low IQ that find themselves in a milieu of children with high IQ what do u expect would happen to the IQ of these poor children? ...they would strive to be like their peers. Our local aphorism has it that 'when hunger knack you, you go remember your talent...' its real bro! #Or maybe u are saying being intelligence is different from being educated.
Wow! Great stuff but 'YES' intelligence is different from being educated. I'm looking at IQ among educated people.

But really I hope we get a psychologist here to help us! But I believe that IQ is both hereditary and influences too(peer group, school, parent,..)

STENON:
I Dnt really know for others.

But I got that IQ and boookworm traits frm my Parent.

So I think It should be hereditary.
Well, I think so too.... But how will you explain, a student whose mum n dad re professors yet very dull?
EducationRe: Is I.Q (intelligence Quotient) Hereditary? by tuncy(op): 7:11am On Nov 20, 2014
christejames:
Its not hereditary because they are some students that build their IQ themselves, its mainly determined by the kind of environment one finds himself.
I get, but there re some students called genius simply because their IQ is more than 70%. High retention... Some of those I know don't read as much as others do to get a good grade. And their parents are quite brilliant too... How about that?
EducationIs I.Q (intelligence Quotient) Hereditary? by tuncy(op): 10:11am On Nov 19, 2014
Some people are of the opinion that a student's intelligence is almost proportional to the parent's IQ. That is an intelligent parent will make an intelligent child. What's your view?

SportsKeshi, Osaze And Enyeama Resigns From Super Eagles by tuncy(op): 5:41am On Jul 03, 2014
The big boss, Stephen Keshi is truly gone for
good!
In an exclusive interview with the CableNG,
the super eagles coach, Keshi gave an insight
into why he is leaving the team.
“Yes. I have done my bit. I am tired of all the
intrigues and backbiting and insinuations I
get. The criticisms are nothing really because
even siblings criticize each other. In this job
sometimes it goes overboard and my family
and those of my players get called names. I
have had to tell the players many times to
ignore those criticisms and just focus on the
tasks at hand,” he said.
When asked if it was remotely possible that
he stays considering the fact that he is still
loved by many Nigerians, he expressed his
doubts saying: “The same ones who were
calling for my head after the Iran match?
That “the World Cup is too big for Keshi”? I
know there are many who truly support what
we have been trying to do over these past
months but I just cannot continue in this job
anymore.
“To start with, my contract ended with the last
match and the Federation never approached
me for a renewal. What does that say? It says
to me I’m not wanted. I am going to go and
rest, spend some time with my family and
then hopefully get another job where I am
wanted.”
Meanwhile Osaze Odemwingie and Vincent
have also resigned!
Following their defeat to France in the World
cup knockout stage on Monday, Nigeria
goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama and Osaze
Odemwingie have quit the Super Eagles team.
“I am confident I should go now, and I can
say I have no bad feelings. I am happy we
played well but lost. I am not too sure now
whether to wish we played badly and win or
the other way round. Whatever the case, I am
happy I am leaving the team in the hands of
capable younger players. “Odemwingie said

PoliticsEkiti: APC Heading To Court For Infractions- Lai Mohammed by tuncy(op): 7:52pm On Jun 28, 2014
Ekiti: APC Heading To Court For
Infractions – Lai Mohammed
EKITIKETE NO COMMENTS
The National Publicity Secretary of the APC,
Lai Mohammed, on Thursday disclosed plans
of the All Progressives Congress, which lost in
the just concluded Ekiti governorship
elections, to head to Court for various
infractions against its members, during the
elections.
“We are going to challenge all these
infractions in court so that it would be clear
we are not making anything up,” he said.
Appearing as a guest on Channels Television’s
breakfast programme, Mr Mohammed listed
various offences for which the party was
going to seek redress for in Court, including
the detainment of Governor Chibuike
Amaechi and other APC governors on the day
of Fayemi’s last rally.
He also mentioned the arrest of some APC
leaders the night before the election, as one of
the issues for which they seek redress, noting
that they had no problems with the outcome
of the election, but with the process.
“Two weeks before the election, a peaceful
rally by the APC was forcibly dispersed which
led to the death of an individual,” he said,
adding that there was no investigation into
the matter.
He also mentioned that “a vehicle was
intercepted containing 200 boxes of electoral
material which INEC discredited as waste
material” and there was yet to be an
explanation for a reported aircraft carrying
suspicious material, which landed in Ekiti.
Mohammed explained that “what happens
before, during elections determines if the
nation’s democracy is being deepened.”
However, the APC spokesman said that the
Party had no intention to contest the result of
the election and it was standing by Fayemi’s
decision, unless there was compelling
evidence to necessitate such a move.
“We have gone beyond the issue of who lost
or who won the election”, he said, but insisted
that the over-militarisation of the process
created fear in the electorate which may have
caused many APC loyalists to stay clear of the
election.
“We have absolutely no problem or issue with
law enforcement agencies in keeping peace”
he said, but noted that it was a “selective
keeping of peace” which was against the
opposition. He claimed that members of the
APC, as well as some accredited journalists
had been “deported” and “forcefully
removed” on the day of the election.
He further insisted that certain incidents, if
not corrected, would not give the desired type
of democracy.
On the emergence of Ayo Fayose as governor-
elect, Mohammed said that the concession of
defeat by Fayemi and the APC was evidence
of the opposition’s democratic nature.
“By this we have shown the world that we are
true democrats and that election is not a do or
die affair”, he said, maintaining that the Party
had respected the wish of the people.

SportsFC Barcelona To Present Ivan Rakitic On July 1 by tuncy(op): 7:28pm On Jun 28, 2014
FC Barcelona To Present Ivan Rakitic On
July 1
Ivan Rakitic will officially become an FC
Barcelona player in the coming week.
Since Croatia are out of the World Cup in
Brazil, the midfielder is free to travel to
Barcelona and finalise the arrangements
with his new club.
According to information on the Barcelona
FC website, Rakitic would be posing for the
traditional picture outside the club offices on
Monday at 6.00 PM CET.
The day after, Tuesday, he will be taking
routine medical tests at the Ciutat Esportiva
Joan Gamper. Then at 11.15 AM CET, he’ll
sign his new contract in the Camp Nou
presidential lounge, and at around noon he’ll
be appearing on the pitch in his new kit.
The final stop will be the Ricard Maxenchs
pressroom, where he is due to give a press
conference at 12.45 PM CET, which will be
broadcast live on Barça TV as well as being
streamed on the FC Barcelona website with
an English translation.
It was officially announced on Monday 16
June that Croatian international Ivan Rakitic
would be joining FC Barcelona for the next
five seasons.
Ivan Rakitić (born 10 March 1988) is a
Croatian footballer who, until his transfer,
played for Spanish club Sevilla, as a central
or attacking midfielder.
Rakitić started his professional career at FC
Basel and spent two seasons with them before
he was signed by Schalke 04. After spending
three and a half seasons in the German
Bundesliga, he was signed by Sevilla in
January 2011. Two years later, Rakitić was
confirmed as the club captain and captained
the team to UEFA Europa League triumph.
On the international level, Rakitić plays for
the Croatia national team. Although naturally
a product of Switzerland’s youth level, Rakitić
pledged his international career to his native
parentage of Croatia instead. He made his
debut for Croatia in 2007 and has since
represented the country at UEFA Euro 2008
and UEFA Euro 2012.
