Lokoja is not just the worse, it shouldn't be considered a state capital of any sort.The govt house is pitch dark at night and you will see weed growing on some of the buildings inside the state house itself.

This is good news to those who know whats really up in ASCL. The mills and thermal power plant are fine n jst need a little boost. What the indian brothers striped were mainly spares in store. The plant can easily be resuscitated if the FG commits to it. I jst hope this is not one of em talk shows

Like i heard,OBJ brought the last company there through his son,and the company did a wonderful job of selling off all that is sell-able.How on earth can such a place now suddenly start work next year.

I seem to like emma's ideology about the whole stuff.Come and build your refinery here and get crude at subsidies rate. With that we can at least get full compliment of job and employment from all the refineries that will be built and the naira wont be messed up the way it is now

The koko be say the govt is not up and doing ,abi how do we keep going back and forth and every administration keeps doing the same thing and yet the masses suffer for it.Like i said earlier,even if the subsidy is removed,it wont still be the end to issues as regards the oil sector. Can someone help me explain why NNPC spends Nigeria's money without appropriation ?

As oshiomhole once said in his speech, the amount of people that are ready to stand and defend Democracy is becoming smaller by the day and that is a dangerous scenario.
Imagine if one military man wakes up today and say FELLOW NIGERIANS blah blah blah blah , am sure the only set of people that will probably complain is the elite and politicians,which shouldnt be so cos the real strength behind any system is the people and not politicians.

If you were an investor and you calculate that buying crude oil at international rate and refining would cost you about N70 per litre of petrol, would you still invest your money when there is someone out there subsidizing the cost of importing the same product and making sure that selling price remained at N65 or less ?

It is not by accident that we do not have private refineries in Nigeria. If we must have fuel subsidy, we must also have guaranteed crude oil subsidy for private investors to ensure growth in oil sector.

The refineries are not working at full capacity because of the round tripping and racketeering that goes on with the "subsidy". Remove the subsidy now !

Sir who is suppose to stop the above ? me or you. Why is it that when things get to Nigeria it becomes very hard to achieve,and yet some people come here to defend mediocrity and lack of direction.Can someone pls tell me why they give president GCFR etc etc cos to me it seems to mean u become powerless when you are decorated with it

U guys dont know anything yet,once the subsidy has been removed,another cabal will be the one to benefit from it agin then they will stop all Nigerians from using petrol inside their car and generators, cos there is a cabal that has snatched the process from them again.Lazy thinkers we have in Nigeria
