I found your objectivity commendable! Given the emotional baggages that usually accompany breaks in relationships at any level, it is understandable that a number of persons are wondering how you were able to speak so glowingly of your ex or if you are over him. The expectation is that you will dismiss him altogether as not being good at all! But then, I think it is a virtue all should cultivate. Not being on good terms with an individual or entity does not mean you should suddenly become blind to their good attributes such that you are unable to acknowledge same! Job Role: STEWARD Job Type: Contract (Renewable) Location: Port Harcourt Responsibilities: • Ensures a clean and workable kitchen area at all times. • Perform general janitorial cleaning, such as sweeping and mopping floors, washing worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks • Re-stock cooks; line and dining room service areas with clean dishes, glasses and silverware • May assist with food preparation, such as blending soups, washing and peeling vegetables and shellfish • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas • Collect laundry and dry-cleaning bags from guest rooms and ensure that guest name, room number and laundry pieces are listed • Responsible to processing the guests’ clothing on the correct equipment/machines using the appropriate chemicals and temperature. • Once processed, neatly fold or hangs the clothing as requested by the guest on the laundry sheet. • Sorts employee uniforms for appropriate action like washing, dry cleaning or pressing. • Assist in the loading and unloading of dryers and sort out washed laundry items • Operates and maintains all laundry equipment. • To service public areas to a high quality as directed. • To service guest bedrooms as per section/floor list to the required standard at all times. • Replace and restock all items provided for guest use within each room and bathroom. • To strip and make bed to a quality standard following the trained procedure at all times. • Service of bathrooms, empty and wash bins, clean bath, shower, basin and toilet. • Wash floor and all glass surfaces to the highest quality standard. • Vacuum bedrooms and bathrooms floors to remove all debris including your section of the corridor and stairs and lift and check the vacuum cleaner weekly and change dust bag when necessary. • Dust and polish all hard surfaces to a quality sheen using appropriate cleaning chemicals.
