To what end now? Show off, the past activists and heroes didn't get noticed doing Rubbish like this, they got noticed while speaking the truth and standing for the people...... Small time now, when you enter the trouble you dey find, some people will start the hash tag war #IStandWithSowore. Nonsense angry
Our past activists and heroes didn't have a means to get noticed...no internet, no social media. Most of them were showmen, think about it.
It's the times we live in these days, people around them build the hype.

Leave that clown. He failed to tell u majority of the 16 countries where declared enemies of the state by Isreal where Isrealis are already banned by their own government not to travel there except on special permit by the government.
Bros thank you oo, unfortunately/fortunately we can't all always see things from the same point of view...everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

People should endeavor to continually educate themselves though, it really is key to our development as a people!

You got me from a neutral stand to picking a side, I was just weighing advantages and disadvantages which had me standing in the middle, maybe because I wasn't affected but your points are really valid and not one of those that try to bully or abuse one into picking a side. Kudos!
Compliment much appreciated wink

You know you're lying right?

Sometimes try to find out the truth for yourself. Don't take news reports at face value.

There's bias on both sides.

Additionally, do you know that 16 Muslim countries do not allow admission to Israeli passport holders?

Where is the outrage?
I am extremely sure i told no lies, you'd know this if you followed the US presidential elections. There's ample video footage of several discriminatory statements he has made on youtube. Why don't you take out the time to see the facts for yourself.

Meanwhile i have never said Islamic countries and radicals are not doing many things wrong, please note i'm not taking the side of Islam here!

My point is that a President of the United state, the undisputed leading nation in the world, must always set the best example for others to follow. Any adult with basic decency and maturity knows that division is not the best way forward.

Yes we know that many people are frustrated with terrorism, islamic radicalism and immigration in general, but people should learn to channel their frustration positively.

Thank you kiss

And you, my friend is very convincing
You are welcome hun kiss

We are more divided across ethnic and religious lines in Nigeria today because of the presidential campaign/election in 2015. APC and PDP used religious and ethnic rhetoric in an attempt to create division and thus garner more votes, and some of the bigoted comments we commonly see here on Nairaland today are partly as a result of events during and since the 2015 election.

Creating division whether by religion/race/gender on a global scale helps no one, it only makes things worse. Even moreso when it's coming from the US, a country that's always been the model for inclusiveness.

Everyone should be worried when the president of the US is seen to be promoting racial/religious division...his action has the potential to incite millions of people negatively.

Why on earth are people making noise about the American ban. If someone says you should not come to his country, then go to another one, or better still, sit down in your country where nobody is pursuing you, afterall, America is not the only country in the world.
And what will become of the world as we have it today if every country follows America's lead ?

You can't blame him, how can you be a threat and not bring anything to the table? tongue You have to bring a considerable amount of positivity to the table. Don't get me wrong, the nicest person I know is a Muslim but I don't think his fears are unfounded.
You, my friend, are fantastically cute smiley

Moving on back to the subject matter though, you can understand why many people are concerned with radical muslims, but for a POTUS (Supposedly the leader of the FREE world) to suggest that the solution to that fear is to ban entire populations of seven countries (and possibly more) including existing American green card holders from those countries is cowardly and shameful.

Let us not forget that there's been such a huge furore because this isn't only about Islam or terrorism. He consistently expresses a disdain for anyone that is not a caucasian male. He is already solidifying plans to build a wall at the Mexican border, has threatened to deport latin Americans, and he has made several derogatory and threatening statements about black and asian people, and women. Donald Trump is hateful and divisive.

Mexican immigrants and Islam are the first easy targets. If he's allowed to get away with these atrocities, tell me who nexthuh

I'd never forget that day, i was in my family residence in GRA Ikeja roughly 2KM from the cantonment. Every single window in our house shattered, many doors got jammed. It was crazy. The day after our compound was filled with ashes and debris. A day never to forget indeed.
CrimeRe: Fulani Herdsman Killed A Farmer In Abuja Today - Twitter User by Tunenez(m): 5:01pm On Jan 25, 2017
Anyone that feels this Fulani herdsmen mess has gone on for too long can protest by boycotting beef and all other products obtainable from cows...stop buying and eating them, there's plenty of other alternatives anyway! Tell your neighbors, friends and kinsmen...put them out of business. 90% of cattle is obtained from these guys. Buy beef if the source is verifiable to be from a ranch/farm.

Thank you.
