Lol... "Economic hardship" doesn't justify lack of common sense.. we all know fuel is highly volatile...
And besides sef, are you aware that that fuel (consignment) is owned by someone? That's someone's business...
Because the truck developed issues on the way, don't you know that those spilled fuel is business losses.. and these ones are outrightly stealing it....
So please spare me your "Economic hardship"...
So if the fuel spills on the ground and is wasting and people scoop some of it, the owner would lose? I don't think so. However, I blame them for throwing caution to the wind and embarking on a dangerous adventure. This comes back to the sad state of the economy. So please show some sympathy

Abi poverty cause this one?

Coz common sense no dey come with riches or wealth oo wey be say poor person no go get ...

Next Case Please!!
Don't be so insensitive. With the current economic hardship amidst the cost of fuel, they wanted to make some money to survive by scooping the fuel probably to sell. Unfortunately, it went wrong for them. Blame the government that has impoverished its people

OK, he praised his kinswoman. Let the northerners praise theirs too. Is there anything wrong in doing so?

When Igbo people stop fleeing to the SW after their self created disaster and trying to disrespect SW on top by involving themselves in trying to destabilize the region out of envy. I will stop.
So is that the main reason you refused to tackle issues affecting your region but rather fixate on Igbo sit at home? Anyway, Igbos would never abandon Kanu. They must sacrifice everything to ensure his release, they are not like others. So if the thing de pain you too much, you fit go buy sniper drink

Which enemies was Nnamdi fighting? Don’t compare Igboho to Nnamdi ever again. Nnamdi is a coward that was sitting abroad and instigating actions against the Government of Nigeria and the SE. Igboho was in Nigeria fighting the Fulani bandit menace in his village and surrounding areas. Nnamdi had to be trapped by greed for threesom#e, which is who you are now fighting for his release. Igboho will come back home as he did absolutely nothing wrong. He did not go out there instigating crime in cowardice, spreading propaganda, spreading hate and killing the innocent and planning attacks of innocent people of other tribes. Nnamdi is a lunatic but you fail to see it.
Mr. Man, you are Yoruba, we are Igbos. Why the thing de pain you pass? Face your region and discuss your challenges and allow Igbo tackle theirs. Abi Igbos are too important to you?

It's either Igbos are coward chest beaters or they support his compulsory holidays in a way.

Sad truth
You have just shown us your true colours. So if Sunday Igboho who risked his life to fight off the enemies and who you cheered on for his bravery by putting the enemies where they really belonged was later arrested by the same enemies, you would abandon him even though the courts ordered his release? Igbo don't behave like that. Until KANU is released, they won't give up. It has nothing to do with cowardice. Except on newspapers, how many people are complaining like people who aren't even Igbos? Let them release KANU and all this rubbish would be over

No broblem, everybody does what they like hike prices, devalue naira but the services provided did not match the price they are quoting.
For example BEDC power supply in Ondo is nothing to write home about today 14th July 2023 we have not had power supply for a total of 5 days ,in some area it total is darkness , I pity those on estimated bills. I will and can never stay in place without a meter . The discos start to accumulate Bill's for power not supply .

BEDC is the worst Disco I have ever known. I came to Akure in 2015. We have never had light for continuous 5 hours. Sometimes in the day, 3 hours,, in the night midnight to 4 am. Those are the days we are lucky. At the end of each month, they come with their ladder

Traffic in your so called mega city is so scanty because everyone has run away from the city. Only houses that look like coffin where Igbos that have fled to SW for opportunity come to be buried.

For those counting development by building duplex, I laugh. Where are your industries or work for the average person? It’s not by going all over the world to sell drugs so you oppress your village people in December. Yet nothing works in the East. By the way, for hot climate, bungalow is the best. Go around the world and check it, except you don’t have enough land. People who build duplex abd mansions that block the flow of air should pay special fees.
Chai, this post pained this one well well. Sorry

Oyaoooooo. See opportunity. Abeg, all east states, make em go. Thing be say easterners will not live in their new country. The ones in Lagos, delta, and all states in south will not go. The ones currently living in d east, live there cos of presence of government and security agencies. Once these agencies leave, 70% of Igbo's living in d east will relocate to south and west. They will claim to be deltans, cos we share names. We may end up over stretching our resources and infrastructure in d south. See asaba alone as case study. Since 2016, the population almost doubled
Wouldn't that be a great opportunity to deport your enemies back to their country? Please support Asari

@ hahahaha

We said SW is not a refugee camp for the displaced people. Is that too much to ask? Had SW not been taken care of her own security challenges , would the displaced people make it their choice of destination?

Those who are prepared to settle down properly are welcome not the displaced with no economic input to the region

I agree with you. That was the reason they rather fled to Benin Republic

Settling properly in any part of Nigeria or settling like a refugee? Tell us which the constitution is talking about
My man you are just a mischievous fellow. Simply tell SW senators, HOR members to move for a constitutional amendment so as to include secession in the constitution. This would allow your region to run your country the way you like. Not coming to Nairaland to make a noise

Let me make it simple.

Settling is totally different from being displaced and turn SW to a refugee camp.

You truly know some people are currently being displaced from their own region due to the madness of the illiterate kids which dem born no professors so say peem.

If those displaced people can't solve their internal problem, they they should stop flocking enmass to SW to seek a refugee.

Those who dey settle down for other places no dey come with polythene bag
So please lecture me. What does the constitution say about citizens residing or settling in any part of Nigeria?

Those who can't handle the insecurities in their home region should stop turning SW into a refugee camp for displaced people.

May be it's time to build a big wall around our borders.

You can't be sharing the little resources meant for the indigenes and still be ungrateful.

SW politicians should rise above pettiness and stop the influx of those who have been displaced from their region but seeing SW as a refugee camp.

Enough is enough
Whether you like it or not, nobody, I repeat nobody can stop any Nigerian from settling wherever he or she likes. The constitution supersedes any other law in Nigeria. If you aren't content, tell your politicians to amend the constitution to include secession so that your region would if possible deport whoever isn't a citizen. There isn't nothing you can do about it
