kestolove95:only a woman will say this. Heartless folks |
Ironically Govt was even ready to present 2017 budget for perusal at the national assembly instead of waiting to implement one, check for possible shortcomings, changes in income then integrate into the subsequent budget, this is rudimentary so how can our so called leaders not see it? |
Even when crude was in excess of $100 per barrel our budget never exceeded 4 trillion, yet at a time when resources were dwindling, the govt tried to make us believe they could raise 6 trillion and Nigerians have been waiting to see how that miracle would be achieved. Now excuses are being made like it should be surprising or what? How gullible are we |
The kind of cross sectional laws Nigeria makes can be amazing sometimes. The debate on date of expiration of tires is still ongoing even among manufacturers. Michelin, Bridgestone and continental tire manufacturers tell you their tires expire after ten years. Some safety groups say six years but its still a suggestion. Nigerian Government now tells you its 4 years, where did they do their research? or do they believe every bodies uses GT tires or all other cheap chinese products? Usage of tires is also a factor. If i buy tires and put 10,000km on it annually, and my friend does the same but only puts 2000km on them, how can both of us change tires at the same time after 4 years? Besides some chinese products will not even give you this four years of active service they are talking about. |
Caleboha:This is primarily because Igbos and yorubas are much more enlightened and civilised. life is much more sacred amongst them. The annoying thing about the incident at the market is the complete stupidity and disregard to ones own personal life. A hausa man is in a market, surrounded by people of another ethnicity, yet he still pulls out a knife to stab a man. Even if he does not regard the man he has stabbed why cant he think of his own life? he does not even realise that his own life will be in danger when he does what he wants to do, so they just act first and think later. Very stupid |
Just like I anticipated. No proof whatsoever but everyone has resorted to insults. Someone even said that he just passed some Fulani herdsmen in Enugu. I mean the same Enugu that many people came here to tell anybody that cares to listen that "all Fulani herdsmen" have abdicated some few days ago. Why are people contradicting themselves for goodness sake? Anyway why did the moderator changed the real heading of this thread? Very funny. Initially I thought some logical minds will counter my claims, but I guess I underestimated the thinking and reasoning capacity of some people. Fulani herdsmen might have committed one atrocious act or another in the past, but this latest claim that Fulani herdsmen ransacked nimba community is what I will never believe until I'm shown concrete evidence. But for the meantime, whatever anybody say is just hearsay and I will never take such reports any serious. Fulani herdsmen are not invincible for crying out loud. I'm sorry if I didn't sound like the average typical Nigerian to you people, but facts{thats if there's any}shouldnt be fictionalized The fact is that the average fulani herdsman is non violent and does not possess arms, but i think they are used as a point of access. The people who actually perpetrate these acts use the herdsmen the scout and point so even if the herdsmen are not actually involved in the attacks(debatable), they are still complicit, because i doubt if there has been any attack anywhere in the country that did not involve the actual presence of cattle and hedsmen |
