stevolinkon40: Na, worse scenario you wipe it to factory, and get any sim of your choice, from my findings its still working but MTN wants to Butt us(Purge out the 10tb) all out to clean the entire system as their excuse for the 4G delayed deployment. Funny physical cards are popping up this days. Their problem. |

martinz1: Speed is hit or miss for everyone, but I get those speeds at day too, downloads run smooth from a torrent client and idm, for your battery id still tell you its poor, id suggest you get high capacity batteries like the one I attached below, mine holds and am still expecting it to max more, we all know bb battery issues but 20mins, na that's definitely a battery issue. If you're using this on pc I'd advise you play with spot on Dns, if you get good dns' you'll get faster page openings, download speed improvement n sort.

From all these ive noticed that a whole lot is changed, for those with poor reception, please make the swap, get the compensation, then confirm to us the BB plan still works, then we might take the dive, for me tho, am in for the whole package, Data and Voice, and now my current plan rocks, 5 naira a min to calls to any network, which will be changed to only lesser if you pay a rental, i dont do rentals. From whats there its not a must, our credit wouldn't be moved nor transferred, a huge NO for me, i'd prefer to top up with the ATM and online means i still use, no Data transfer another turn off, but for anyone with poor Visa reception, dive to the MTN sim with Visa package option mine was embedded to my phone so another turn off, other packages there are mouth watering, for me am okay with Visa at its current state. Would love to see the new changes tho, if anyone migrates, pls share the details, you just might help another customer decide. |

Phones / Re: Visafone Unlimited 10 Terabyte Blackberry Plan by tuta1: 3:58pm On Mar 12, 2016 |
Zetra: It might be your reception. For me and friends using it, its okay. I'd advise you try triggering it once your hotspot is on, a friend i know use youtube app to get his own hot. for me it works anytime. So consider reception and maybe your own trigger app . I doubt it counts but give it a go, if it works share with others what got yours to get hot. |

tivta: I honestly dont monitor mine, cause well i have this the entire subs time, but over a one week period i tried keeping tabs, i observed ive downloaded over 80GB, i sure id be maxing out about 350 or more GB monthly either thru downloads or streaming. But its not just fast at night, torrents works fast during the day too, streaming 720p or 4k is what works effortlessly at night. if you're new to this it'll feel somehow, especially if you're coming from other faster capped plans, but give it time and based on reception once you get the hang, you'll honestly not go back. |
Phones / Re: Visafone Unlimited 10 Terabyte Blackberry Plan by tuta1: 3:14pm On Mar 04, 2016 |
twicenoni: My advise: download using torrent, leave it overnight and next morning it'll be all completed. make sure you're on 3G tho not 1x(u might be on the lookout for that during diff periods). downloads for me works on torrent day / night, but faster than usual speeds at night is the norm here. Direct download use IDM, it rocks too. |
Phones / Re: Visafone Unlimited 10 Terabyte Blackberry Plan by tuta1: 11:07am On Mar 04, 2016 |
Zetra: Boss, the streaming part is the bad habit, you just keep it flowing lol,you need to use it to understand. I use youtube all night streaming music videos, terrible habit. please we love everything as it currently is, they can use visa as a method to sell the cheapest data available in Nigeria, they should only make physical cards available, those online recharging methods shouldn't be all, i enjoy the cheap calls too. We'll appreciate a buff tho in speed, mainly nationwide coverage would be a big boost for this. 1 Like |

4llerbuntu: 4ller, you of all we have here know that benchmark tests uses closest available server, from my tests there i tunneled my entire device(UK server), try it, post your own bad a$$ results, then we can work on making those speeds possible lol. but honestly mine still rocks, its just painful to keep recharging thru online means, physical cards are pretty hard to come by. the ads below the pages gives some clues away too, lol, imagine downloading on such speeds lol . 10TB can really then be used up, or maybe almost used up. |

martinz1: Haha very funny, it looks absurd, but for those in the know, its just a server trick, lol, read my posts again, about lets try making this default. theres a hidden message there lol, its gotten from Visa, with some other help.......... is any network in Naija giving this kinda speed? hehe, I get mine with visa. |

Mafia4life: This mobile has been my daily driver for 2 months now. its Qualcomm not Mediatek processor. And honestly i don't miss my M8 aside from blinkfeed. This device is a beast. its buttery smooth than most devices ive used and really isnt made as a cheap phone, its premium built and has got great battery life, Corning Gorilla glass 4 screen, super Sony Exynos camera 16MP Back 5MP with flash Front , gyro, compass, acclerometer, great WIFI reception, best audio enhancements so far, use it with original headphones and forget your ipod for life, ambient light sensor, great inbuilt speakers, even the always on feature LG G5 is using to make a glorified ad is already here on Obi SF1, it screen light up only required pixels to display messages on top of lock screen, its a beauty and handles all games and apps ive punched to it. Multitasks is a breeze, and am always having 1.6GB ram always available to run apps from the 3GB ram variant am using. i have loaded over 200 intensive apps and it handles all perfectly OKAY!!! never had any regret getting this. Cant wait to get marshmallow on this. *Note!! Power users like me, sorry guys, no rooting. this device is for now UNROOTABLE!!! your Android warranty is safe. Its secured lol, no access to bootloader. John sculley gave apple type security to Android boot-up lol. If this is launched in Nigeria and its within your budget, get it.

martinz1: Your Math is very correct, i know all those. guess the confusion was my caps on my initial 1.2mbps i mentioned. and his insistence blackberry moderm was restricted to 385.7kbps, that got me. On visas network that's correct, but on HSPA it can give up to 1.8MBPS which i was trying to quell. my screen shots was to prove mine is now slow, if my speed picks up id share burstable speed thats funny. below image happens rarely, but its possible

rumomonga: They'll be no need to reply but so you know, what you dont understand, code writers do, am trying to form techie? lol, for ur info dont get 'mad' by what i said, i never called out on you or said anything to presume the mobile would be bad. Been coding for android runtime since version 1.0, wouldn't be sure u understand tho, you might have been a Java user then. For my earlier statements you think any programmer would waste precious time fixing tree patches for upgrades on a mobile that does basic on what the android tree contains? Not unless that code writer works for infinix, and definitely they'll get them engaged on their new mobile not one they're done already with. Tell me that the current specs would get Marshmallow as an upgrade. They might get stability fixes, but that's all and it'll be only within a year after release. But if that mobile had sensors, individual programmers would run lots of patch on it and it'll be a nice plaything to add more cool branches to the tree. Regarding root access and the rest sorry i cant explain what u cant understand, its like explaining how to debug to your parents who are finding it hard to understand Microsoft office lol. Please ask question and there are a lot of users here to help you. 1 Like |

obosirow: Lol, i bet we both in the same boat, i get phones cause of SENSORS, reasons id stick to the big boys or maybe the new Obi Worldphone which I've seen and honestly works as pretty as any big boy I've used and has nice feel and heft. Sensors are more important aside 3GB Ram et processor and clocking speeds, if a mobile has sensors, have in mind it'll be getting constant upgrades (either android or stability) and the juicy parts Custom Roms. Not every one needs sensors tho, Infinix knows the Nigerian market, they give em what they want, big screens and crap displays/boards thats gets malicious apps once you go online or even get a root access lol. If this has sensors, pls state em, also the processors used and makers pls, for me i have a closed chip makers i can pick up their products any time. 1 Like |
