@togobingi please i am so much interested in this job seekers pathway. But my husband would be the one going for it by God's grace.He graduated from petroleum training institute effurun Warri,Delta state.He got his HND there.He has over 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering of which ;he has worked as a qaqc engineer and also as a quality inspection engineer. He has worked with GE oil and Gas. So please what are his chances since has HND in mechanical and production engineer. Also ,if possible how do i go about it will he have his results evaluated? Please i really need your candid advice.

@thanks for the quick response mr recto and mr Bellong. see my hubby just asked me now that if he reapply using EA which he is qualified to apply.and he is eventually assessed positively after he must have submitted his CDR on his project work and siwes but not in his work experience.the question is that how will he reconcile his points .BECAUSE HE HAS NO INTENTION in adding his work experience which would hav given him more marks. please I need your reply.

or if we are to reapply we can apply through EA? because my husband has his HND in mechanical engineering and he is working as a QA?QC engineer.and he also has experience in NDT so please all the bosses in the house please help to advice

please all the ogas in the house please I would like to ask this question. last year October we sent our application to be assessed by TRA, under Mechanical Engineering technologist, but it came out to be negative. The reasons are :
1. My husband's school could not be reached to confirm that he actually finished from that school.
2. That his OND result was not submitted ,that they saw only HND .but actually they were wrong on that because both were submitted to them.
3.lastly they said the company's telephone number we provided couldn't be linked to the company we claimed to have worked.
so they suggested we re apply or apply for a review which is almost the amount paid before.so please can you please advise us should we take the review and what is the possibility that we will be successful or should we re apply to another assessing body .because after we saw the result , we called them and the guy that assessed it answered us and said , if we should re apply we should call the school to email them that my hubby actually schooled there .and we should do the follow up on sending the result. please I need your candid reply cus the three month to apply for review will soon elasp.

Thanks very much for your quick reply, actually I logged in and wanted to change my user name but couldn't, so I used my wife page Tutu to send you the question. Any ways, please I still have two more questions for you . In the Scol list, I saw Mechanical Engineering Technician so I feel since I am a mechanical Engineer I can apply, but what is restricting me is that on my experience, I was mostly employed as an NDT inspector/engineer for Pipe inspections and containers. and finally a Quality engineer in an oil and gas coy. Do you advice me to go ahead and apply? I think both are closely related. Lastly, is the assessment done before payment or after payment? Please advice?

Company one is two years as NDT inspector,
Company two is five years experience as NDT Engineer,
Company three is over two years experience an a QAQC Engineer.
I am 36 years old. according to the rating please what is my rating so far . Note I have not yet written the English exams.

Lastly, I was going through the SOL and i came across mechanical engineer and Production engineer with Engineer Australia as the assessing body. Am I suppose to apply for this qualification or is there any other option you can advise me to go for with respect to my job experience above? I Will appreciate your quick response . many thanks,
