PHD is not into branding. As pointed out in my earlier post, they are a media independent outfit. What this means is that they engage in media planning,placement and control. Google this out. This is about the highest paying sub industry in the field of Marketing Commsunicatons. When young graduates like you are setting out for jobs, look beyond the salary aspect. Look at the entire industry, the growth potentials of the industry, etc

The Kero Direct documentary we have been seeing on AIT is the worst and ideologically-bereft PR stunt i have ever seen in my life. A company was given a blank cheque to import kerosine and sell to the people at 50 Naira per litre while the government settles him for the price differential for importation and selling price.Who no know how to put meat in the mouth and then get it missing from the cheeks. Yet we saw mammoth crowd at each selling point where Kerosine was being sold. Its a shame to see even governors cutting tapes to declare sales of Kerosine open .Are we moving forward or backward. For a company to be selling that ugly scenario as a PR stunt beats all sensible imagination. Few years ago, we walk to nearby kiosks or filling stations to buy kerosine- no hassles. Today capital oil sells kerosine with a mammoth crowd waiting and they bring camera to cover the event!

Its quite very difficult to decide the top five. Apart from salaries and other perks of office, there are so many runs and package these agencies package for themselves. Of course, some are formal and some are runs- as we term it in Naija. But i guess the list below stand a good chance of fighting for top five positions

Alabi Yellow currently resides at Ikorodu Lagos. i do see him occasionally, sitting by the entrance of Ikorodu Local Government Secretariat. His appearance is very pitiable- he epitomizes poverty. Most of the other cast members of that series lives at Ikorodu. Some years back, i saw some of them, Thompson inclusive shooting a movie somewhere at Ikorodu. I remember seeing the likes of spark, The lady that played the part of Thompson Fiance- she is looking very much older now( but her beauty still shone like a million stars) and many other crew of that series.
The song Mr. Deinde, Mr Deinde posted earlier was done by General Kollington Ayinla in the album- KASABUBU.
