Hello everyone .

So I know this is a bit long but i have a friend in deep crisis now and needs your advice and contributions.

Please, no bashing.

Hi, my name is John (not my real name). Last year, I met Joana and I fell for her. I stepped up to her, we clicked and we became an item. We have been happy and satisfied with each other since then, well that was before Ronke came along.

Ronke is a girl i met in school. A rich but very free girl who was also my coursemate. She had actually stepped up to me after a lecture and told me she liked me and wanted us to be friends. I agreed with it without talking to Joana first (my mistake) and we started rolling.

The thing here is that, Joana hates Ronke. Her reasons being; Ronke is beautiful and rich and will snatch me from her. I tried talking to her (Joana), tried convincing her that its her I truly love...but no, she doesn't just get it. So I decided to leave it at that, started avoiding Ronke because of it.

Last month, I had a very big problem and needed money urgently. My dad is late and my mum aint doing that great so I couldn't ask her for money. Went to my uncles and aunties but none helped, they even started avoiding me.

I turned to my friends...still nothing. I asked Joana who in turn asked her family and friends but nothing....no one could help. I was devastated.

One evening, I was just browsing through my contacts looking for who to call when my phone rang. It was Ronke and apparently, one of my friends had told her about my problem. She asked how much and I told her reluctantly, then she asked me to send my account number....

She sent the money, even added extra on it and told me to take care. Speechlessly, I listened to her tell me that I had abandoned her and that it wasn't a big deal. Also said that she has not forgotten me and would forever regard me as a good friend. Then she hung up.

Confused, I called Joana to tell her the great news about the money but she just said "ok" and hung up. I tried calling but she refused to pick my calls. Next she sent me this exact message: John, since u av decided to go begging the same gel I told u I don't like, I don't want anytin 2 do wit u again. Its over.

Since then, she have completely avoided me. I went to her lodge but she refused to see me. Doesn't pick my call, ignore my texts and all those things girls do.

I love this girl and I can't let her go. What do I do? Should I return the money?

Please advice.
