A letter of authority is a letter which authorises another individual to pick the EOR/TRF on his behalf. It could be something like -

Letter of Authority to Pick up Test Report Form

Further to your email/letter/text dated Bleep, requesting me to pick up my EOR results, I hereby authorize Mr/Ms xxxxx to pick this up on my behalf. He/She will be identified by his/her xxxxx identity card. Kindly note that he/she is also authorized to pick up my TRF.

To those who successfully requested for remarking, I have two questions.
My brother has been told to come to Abuja for his result or send a representative with an authority letter to pick the result on his behalf that they do not send EOR results to candidates. He's in a fix as to whether to travel to Abuja now
His questions, 1. what is an authority letter?
2. How will he know his score increased? As it is stated on their website that if the score increases, a new test report form would be issued and refund would be made but if the score doesn't increase, the original test report form would be returned to him.
Or is it that the score didn't increase?
