Heheheh, are you guys still on this boycott MTN thing? we have said it before, if you no want, migrate. Abeg lets discuss more important stuff like the wantom killing of our innocent brothers and sisters up north jo and how this rubbish must be stopped afterall, if Nigeria disintegrates today, I am sure MTN and their so called bad service will be the last thing on our minds. Its simple, if you have a very good business model, you will make good profit even when our so called government officials spend 25% of our money on ariya repete. Tell me if all the telecoms company today pack their load and leave what will become of our economy? what will become of entreprenuers, recharge card sellers etc

Me I am looking at this thing from another angle o, it means there is good business to be made here in naija so why would people leave here to go all over the world including Libya and Spain where Nigerians are treated as second class citizens? Anyway, people should be  prosecuted in Nitel and PHCN and indeed all those government parastatals that are not working. What are they doing wrong? why cant they manage governement owned businesses as well as private businesses eh? I dey vex o. Read about the Nigerian woman, Mrs. Idogun who was jailed for sending her son back to Nigeria. A court in the UK sentenced her to 8 months because she refused to bring back her son from Nigeria. The woma felt the boy's life was spiralling out of control and if going to jail is what it will take to make her son an honourable person then so be it. I am wondering, is this a good move? the boy in question Ebirin Idogun will be 18 in anoher month and legally, that makes him an adult. So is the mother going to jail for his sake worth it? Hmm, sad! This boy was not just sent back home to starngers but to his father who lives in Nigeria. Why then would the court hold her in contempt and slam her with all manners of charges including forcing the boy to get married and sending him to a place where his life is not safe. Are they saying those of us living in naija are also safe? hmm, na wao!

@Tokotaya, they dont know that I am Iya Ijebu. My own is this, dont promise me what you cannot deliver. It doesnt even end there o, even that their 20k per minute is suspect, hmm, i dey vex o. I know the topic is Glo not working and everyone seem to want to crucify MTN but they forget that "quiet" ones like airtel, Etisalat and even starcomms are busy reaping us off and blocking our faces with their yeye freebies and free offers. @ COMPAQ and G -reycells, I think the questions you guys should be asking is why are we still having network issues at this stage of development and if the problems are being addressed? I know for certain that it wont cost them so much to explain these things to the public atleast, they owe us that much. My beef has actually been for Airtel, the call drops for the past couple of days have been really annoying and what is worse, they claim I have 20 free sms but anytime I send a text message to another airtel line, I am billed N5. Why bullshit me that I have free sms, when you still bill me? na wao!

Wow! the possibility of a Nigerian University joining the top Universities in the world is a fantastic accomplishment for this country. If this means that students will enjoy free access to the internet it would definitely transform the whole institution. Wish such an opportunity was available back when I was in school, it surely would have made things much easier.

I think we like badmouthing people in this country as soon as we stop enjoying awoof from them. If we call MTN a fraud, i wonder what we will call Celtel that does boju boju with their so called 60 mins free call for only one day. You spend 20 hours out of the 24 hrs trying to place a call. I know that all networks from time to time have these network fluctuations that cause call drops and the rest of them, but I think its not fair to call them frauds. Anyway, am not holding brief for then, neither do i work there but lets just be considerate, especially given all the Corporate Social Initiatives they have pioneered in nija.
