Everybody love the round leather game of football and MTN just cashed in on this love to slash their call rates to 11 kobo/second if you register your best 11 players. Genius I say. Check out the advert creative. Its a picture of an 11-man team comprising mummy, daddy, aunty, uncle. grand pa, grand ma and even junior. I like it.

Remember the song 'O Lord have mercy, mercy, mercy?' well, saw a story last week that says she may be coming to Nigeria to collabo with Praiz on his latest song, Mercy. Well, she has landed in Nigeria. Its been a few years since she ruled the air-waves so she does not look so much like she used to but, she does look beautiful. Cant wait to hear their collabo. Got a few photographs from her visit.

Hmmmmm, this is what I always say about our so-called leaders, they like playing to the gallery. I am not holdin brief for the telco company but I am saying channel the same kind of energy you are using to do this campaign into solving the unending crisis in Jos so that even more companies will come and invest and give our youths jobs. I lived in Jos from when I was a baby up until I left for Lagos and I cry everyday when I see how my beloved town has become a batle field. It is well o! |
Technology Market / Mobile Money Services by twity(f): 12:01pm On Jan 27, 2012 |
Mobile money seems to be the in-thing now. From the features of this service, it sounds like it is going to be the next revolutionary thing in Nigeria. Imagin being able to get money to your aged parents, children, sibblings and even business partners in places where they are ubale to access a bank for any form of transaction. Good stuff. But what is the awareness of this service? how is it operated? aside from knowing that I need to register with my network (MTN) to enjoy the service and that it is being offered by banks, I know almost nothing about mobile money. So, can someone help me out there. Financial goons in the house, how do I enjoy the mobile money service? |
Romance / Re: Can Girls Date A Whole Year Without Making Demands? by twity(f): 2:22pm On Sep 21, 2011 |
Believe it people, its possible. I dated mine for two years and didnt ask for anything. I work so I can take care of myself, its his choice if he wants to give me but I dont ask besides, a good man does not need prodding, he just makes his woman feel good. And YES, some men (a negligible few), can date a woman for one year without asking for SEX. Peace! |

Family / Re: For The Ladies: Moving Out Of Your Parent's House, Yay Or Nay? by twity(f): 4:57pm On Sep 16, 2011 |
At a certain parts of the world, as soon as you reach a certain age, you are expected to move out of your parents' house and begin to fend for yourself but the truth of the matter is that in Naija, a female, no matter how disciplined you are will be looked down upon if you live alone and you are not married. If you are not earning a living, why then do you want to move out? when you are done with your NYSC, you will see that it is a different world out there. As much as I admire ladies who have self-respect and live by certain principles and stick to them, I still think if you dont have to, you shouldnt move out. You will always be your parent's little girl but if you show them you have come of age and are mature, even if you live with them, they will give you your desired freedom. So my dear, think it through before you act. Remember, a time will come when you will really want your family around and if you distance yourself from them, they may just well 'leave' you alone and trust me, you wont like that one bit. |

Family / Re: My Spouse Came To Embarrass Me At My Working Place by twity(f): 10:49am On Jun 16, 2011 |
My dear man, I think you need to think back, you must have given her cause to be like that. I am very sure she was not always like that and dont mind all this immature boys telling you to send her packing and marry a villae girl cos I guarantee you, village girls are even worse. Check inward and see where you may have taken a wrong turn to make her so insecure, then call her, sit her down and both of you should talk it out. Assure her of your love for her and actually show her you love her. You will definitely see changes. Good luck! |

Saw this on my way to work today. A group of people wearing black t-shirts, walking and carrying a banner which read 21 Days of yellow care. I think walking is another very good way of keeping fit and burning calories. I felt like joining them o, but I would have been late for work!

Education / Re: Mtn Finally Releases List Of Successful Scholars by twity(f): 10:40am On May 20, 2011 |
Serendipity: From what I read in the papers, I think they want to encourage young people to embrace more science courses and help them with the scholarship to concentrate on their studies. I also read that they have been providiing digital libraries to help with researches and all that. I think its a good way to go. If this continues very soon, we will begin to boast of aeronautical engineers, brain surgeons etc etc. Weldone again MTN, we need am no be small. |
