Health / 5 Trending Home Remedies For Treatment For Pimples by twizzlefrisky(m): 9:21pm On Aug 22, 2015
Acne popularly called Pimples affects the skin of the majority of teenagers and a significant number of adults. This may occur in teenagers as a sign of puberty or in adults due to choice of diet. Some individuals are lucky to have clear skin, some have occasional breakouts while others may experience ongoing (chronic) problems.

The presence of pimples on the skin, especially the face, may cause anxiety, embarrassment and low self-esteem. Whatever the case, this home remedies for treatment for pimples is just what you need:-

1) Washing Your Face Three Times Daily.

During sleep, our skin naturally loses hydration or moisture. Lack of hydration causes our skin cells at work to generate oil. The oil generated can result to pimples. So, if you wash your face in the morning, it hydrates your facial skin and unclogs the skin pores, wiping out too much oil present in your skin and maintains the pH level.

Doing so during the day washes away accumulated sweat on the face keeping it fresh and lastly, at night, taking off make-up before going to sleep helps alot.

2) Drink Lots Of Water, Tweak Your Diet!

Increasing the amount of water you drink is a great way to flush out internal toxins and hydrate your skin from the inside out. Importantly, some foods cause your blood sugar to rise quickly, triggering a boost in insulin. Too much insulin in your bloodstream can trigger changes in your body that can lead to the growth of pore-clogging cells. It can also boost action in your oil glands.

So make some changes to your meals. A study in the American Journal of Nutrition suggests you may have fewer breakouts if you add more whole grains, beans, fruits and veggies and cut back on pasta, fried food, saturated fats, processed food, white rice, white bread, and sugar.

3) Exfoliate Regularly

Sure, overzealous oil glands can lead to breakouts, but so can under performing oil glands. Dry skin has tiny cracks in which bacteria can breed; plus, excessive flaking can lead to clogged pores.

The fix: Gently exfoliate your skin a few times a week with a scrub designed for the face, and follow up with a non-comedogenic moisturiser. A great substitute is Bump and Blemish. This is a great non-drying, sting free product with Salicylic Acid which promotes exfoliation.

4) Get Some Exercise To Reduce Stress.

Exercise helps cut stress, which may contribute to acne outbreaks. Physical activity also helps your skin by increasing your blood circulation, which sends more oxygen to your skin cells and carries cell waste away.

But keep in mind that sweat from exercise can also lead to breakouts by irritating your skin. So it's important to shower right after a workout.

5) Do Not Burst Or Squeeze The Pimple!

By squeezing the pimple, you stand a risk of pushing the infection further down, causing more serious blockage and worse swelling and redness. By bursting the pimple, you'll only leave your skin with black heads (black spots). The best remedy for this outbreak is using “over-the-counter (OTC)” pimple treatments solutions that contain active ingredients such as Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic Acid and Sulphur.

Bump and Blemish is perfect for this with its three patented active ingredients that help reduce the appearance of dark spots, acnes, brightens and soothes the skin.

Health / Shaving Bumps On Neck: A Threat To Good Personal Hygiene by twizzlefrisky(m): 6:42am On Jun 28, 2015
Little wonder why huge numbers of Africans queue in drones at the embassies of European countries all in a last minute attempt to jettison their mother land. Most quarters argue this trend is as a result of poverty but recent research has proven that most people leave Africa because of the high level of accumulated dirt, untreated waste and total negligence of personal hygiene.

Everyone seems to litter the environment with impunity and no agency in Nigeria for instance is yet to create strict laws to curb this threat to personal health.

The least form of enlightenment about the environment is done when a certain community or location uses threat signs to ward off perpetrators of this unholy acts.

People have gotten so used to living in a dirty environment that psychologically, it affects their facial looks. You see a young man with after shaving bumps on their neck and when you try to proffer a solution, they shove your advice to a corner adamantly saying, “It is yet to kill me”.

Hmmm…it is quite disturbing because you notice there has been a significant rise in the number of young men who suffer from adverse complications of shaving bumps on their head back which when infected, advances into keloids, a more severe outbreak.

BUMP AND BLEMISH® Razor Bumps and Ingrown Hairs fighter plus Dark Spot Corrector has proven to be a perfect solution for ALL hair removal complications: after shaving bumps (PseudoFolliculitis Barbae or PFB), razor bumps/burn and ingrown hairs, as well as their associated dark, hyper-pigmented spots.
