Well to cut the long story short, after stumbling on his thread, i contacted via email, and enquired about investment opportunities in Abidjan since he claimed
to reside there. He then offered to show me and facilitate some business/investment we talked about.

I proposed a date of arrival, but he said he wont be available then because he'll be coming to Nigeria to bury his late Dad. We agreed another travel date, as well as other logistics. Thankfully, I made hotel reservations myself. I was simply to contact him on arrival. Mind you I don't speak French, so he was to help me on arrival. Well, I travelled to Abidjan, and from the moment I arrived, I kept call and messaging him for 3 days without response, only for the crook to chat me on the night of day 3, saying he had to make a quick dash to Abuja in Nigeria. Meanwhile we chatted just the night before my departure(less than 10hours before departure)

Thank God, I wasn't too stupid to put all my eggs in one basket, I would have been messed up big time in a country where I could neither understand nor speak thier language. If he comes here and denies my post, then I'll post our chats and possibly his own voice chats.

The guy is dangerous. I was skeptical at first when I observed some strange patterns in the way messages deliver to his WhatsApp, but when I eventually started conversing with him over voice, I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Well, I'm sure he realised I was to smart for his con, and so he went silent on me. People like him make it difficult to trust Nigerians. I never knew someone could be so cold hearted.

So there is your explanation. Anyone dealing with him is dealing with a conman.
Donfanuchi1 your attention is needed here. Let's try to always be there for ourselves na, if you can't help simply say NO you can't and not to just leave someone stranded after you've given him hope.

Donfanuchi1, What can you say about this?

Guys this guy is a scam. Don't contact him for anything about Abidjan. He does not reside in Abidjan. He's not who he says he is. It will be unfair if I do not put out this warning after what he made me go through.
Please, shed more light on this so that people will be guided.
Explain more, let's know what transpired between you guys.

Please how did you solve the nin verification issue
NIS in Kaduna also fix some NIN issues.

As I was looking for where to submit the document, one NIS officer stepped on me and at the process of him saying sorry I just told him my issues (DIY, NIN palava) and he asked me not to worry then collect the document from me.
He took file from his office (though, I took files along) , put my document then straight to the capturing room and was called for capturing within an hour of getting there.
Although, he asked if I have anyone in there to make things fast (9ja way) which I told him NO.
After every every, I gave out 5k as office documentation as per what he said (I gave him as sacrifice, at least to have someone to monitor my passport processing).

I don't think you can be able to reschedule anymore, this happened to a friend of mine. Sort out the NIN issue first, after that... Go to the selected passport office very early in the morning, even though your scheduled date has passed, no issues.

Just explain to them. And hold small cash Incase situation dey hard
Thanks
What steps do I take to solve the NIN issue please?

The "Print Acknowledgment" button will help you print "Payment Acknowledgment Slip" with Transaction ID, Application ID & Reference Number.
With the copy of your Payment acknowledgement slip, proceed to any of the approved banks by NIS for payment.
On making payment at the bank, you MUST be issued with a payment receipt.

Thanks alot...

I would suggest Payfixy (cash at bank/Sterling Bank). I hope there's a branch of Sterling Bank near you.
I'll have to visit the bank for payment and not directly from my account if I use this method right?

Minna is very free, the day I applied the following day was free for booking appointment.

If you want to get it in days, you'll have to pay extra for urgent service.

It's better you know someone before going so that everything will be finalized, you just go, capture and wait for your passport at agreed date/day
I'm at the point of payment, please guide me on how to go about it..

Avoid Abia State immigration command by every means if you're using DIY.

Just like what I heard about before going, I was forced to cough out 12.5k today for logistics today when I went for biometrics. Even after that, my file was dumped because according to them, I needed to entrust my application to an officer to process it for me.

The servicom officers there are as corrupt as other officers.

I waited till pass 5pm before I was attended to. This came after I couldn't wait again nor come back there, so I had to also sort myself out, because they were ready to frustrate me because I did DIY.
I'm at the point of payment, please guide me on this.

Local Government letter of identification or State of Origin Certificate. Original and photocopy.

Birth certificate (if you're born after 1992) / Age declaration (if you're born before 1992). Original and photocopy.

2 recent colour passport photographs
Payment receipt. Original and photocopy

NIN slip. Original and photocopy.
Acknowledgement slip. Original and photocopy

Photocopy of data page of guarantor's valid international passport.

Photocopy of guarantor's NIN slip

White file (for fresh applicants). Please note that the brown file is for renewal applicants.

You will be able to have access to the guarantor's form when you pay the application fee either at the banks approved by NIS or online. Only one person is mandated to sign the guarantor's form. It could be a family member or a friend.
Thanks for this... I was born 1992 precisely, which one do I use as the 2 options are before and after

I applied for my passport online, went to Warri office today at 8:30am for capturing.
The moment I told dem it was DIY Dey said I should wait (we were over 15 in DIY) after about an hour plus we were attended to by the servicecom.
They asked us if we want to drop something so Dey can process everything for us fast and capture on time, we replied NO. Den Dey smiled. We went through all the process and majority of us in DIY did capturing at (5:00pm) And where given our enrollment slip.
One thing I will advice someone in DIY is just be PATIENT, they will delay you just to see if you will pay but d more Dey see how relaxed u r Dey won’t even bother u, and also carry all necessary documents (Original and Photocopy). THANKS To everyone here cos I got all the information from here πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

Perhaps passport booklet paper for 64 pages is very scarce.

Choose 34 pages/5 years.
I even tried 64 pages but didn't change to 10years and that 10years is the real deal.

Thanks, I noticed it's only the 5years option that is on the page. I thought there's 10years passport or it has been cancelled?
