I applied for my passport online, went to Warri office today at 8:30am for capturing.
The moment I told dem it was DIY Dey said I should wait (we were over 15 in DIY) after about an hour plus we were attended to by the servicecom.
They asked us if we want to drop something so Dey can process everything for us fast and capture on time, we replied NO. Den Dey smiled. We went through all the process and majority of us in DIY did capturing at (5:00pm) And where given our enrollment slip.
One thing I will advice someone in DIY is just be PATIENT, they will delay you just to see if you will pay but d more Dey see how relaxed u r Dey won’t even bother u, and also carry all necessary documents (Original and Photocopy). THANKS To everyone here cos I got all the information from here 🙌🙌

Perhaps passport booklet paper for 64 pages is very scarce.

Choose 34 pages/5 years.
I even tried 64 pages but didn't change to 10years and that 10years is the real deal.

Choose standard passport (32 pages or 64 pages).
Thanks, I noticed it's only the 5years option that is on the page. I thought there's 10years passport or it has been cancelled?

Family / Re: My Friend's Future In-Laws Live In Kaduna, How Safe Are The Roads? by tym92(m): 2:47pm On Jan 17, 2023
I stay in Kaduna and I can tell you categorically that Abuja-Kaduna road is presently better than some Nigeria road in terms of kidnapping issues. We only have to be praying not to move around on evil days...
More so, you are not even concerned about bad roads all around the country that could easily claim life you're talking of kidnappers that can enter ones house to pick anyone they deem fit to pick.

Many up there suggested train or plane, no where in Nigeria is security guaranteed. Even security agencies can't protect themselves let alone the masses.
Just apply knowledge in your plans...

Thanks to all those nairalander, that helped us without collecting a dime,
Please if you are going to go for your visa at Vietnamese embassy in Abuja, go to the 1 at asokoro address, not the maitama own...

Visa fee for studies is $400 in $100 denominations (2013 or 2017 preferably)

Go with your international passport, 2 white background photograph..
And both invitation, admission letter from Vietnam... Thats all

The process is fast and easy... You should be done within 30min...
Please, how you gat dollars to pay?
Through BDC (which is very high now) or Bank?
If you get the dollar through bank, what's the procedure please.

Alright thanks...
1) Is there any difference between Benin Republic cfa and Ivory Coast cfa?
2) after exchanging let's say 1million naira to cfa, is it safe to carry the money throughout the journey or is there other means of keeping and withdraw after getting to the destination.
Thanks

When a man knows he is to die tomorrow or soonest, he lives each day being carefree and take nothing to heart

Story continues

Guys, it became official, my countdown from naija had began, I stayed a week extra in ABJ with my friend and we had crazy fun! Oh. Kubwa and Maitama will never leave my head in a hurry. After my week of stay in Abuja, i had to board a flight to Benin- I didn't wanted to take chance with the messy roads and accident rates at that time. Trust me, lots of accident happened at Okene and Ore road at that period, plus it was very discomforting. I had thought to myself, I have my visa, so i should pamper myself to safety.

Upon arrival to the great City of Benin, i boarded a taxify straight up to my home. It was then i knelt down and thanked God. I could recall the stress i went through in naija, how i lost my job, my relationship that was on the speck of going down, my old mama who should be retired from work and my old papa who is fast ageing. I couldn't stand them growing old in my eyes with little or no assistance to do for them.

I had always wanted to travel, but my elder brother in the US for some selfish reasons always discouraged me "Richard, things are not the way you see it, stay back and supervise my projects" Apparently his plan for me was to be an eye to his businesses, i had more plans for myself.

I visited my parents and broke the news to them, they were so happy. Sheard tears of joy and reached out to hug me. It was already a script of blessing dishing out from their mouth like i was travelling the next day. They genuiely knew how messed up naija was and were in support of my movement.

Guys, I had plan i should leave naija in a month time (My school resumes in a month time) Although, it doesnt matter if i leave in 3 months time, but for some reason i was itching to leave sooner. I thought to myself, i dont want anything to ruin this chance- Maybe another lock down, maybe naija could go extinct, just maybe a war may break out. So i knew i needed to act fast and move...

Now all i needed was money for flight reservations and some travelling allowance funds, I knew i had to intensify my hustle, I got back to my taxify, it was a hell of a task for me. Got lots of harsh encounters with customers, very rude- Mostly ladies. I kept calm and smiled because i knew it was just for a very short time. I was able to raise some money. I never wanted to discuss my Visa with my brother, hence he was never financially there for me and always disregarded my travel plans, but my mum broke the news to me. He reached out to me and confirmed, i could sense he was shocked and forcefully eased off congratulations from his mouth.

Abike also my girlfriend, we had serious issues all this while. it was a patchy relationship. She never knew about my travel plans, never wanted to tell her. At the peak of when i was trying to decide if i could have a future with her thereafter, she cheated on me. Oh yes! She always told me i wasn't man enough for her bills, i never knew she has been seeing a yahoo guy all these while. I found out when i reached to meet with her after many disappointments, saw a leaked chat on WhatsApp when she left for the bathroom.

I beleive it was God own way and making me know my priorities and cutting off the shafts... I never confronted her, we had our last pound of marathon sexx and that was it.

It was two weeks to my departure- I had booked my flight after sure i am financially ready . I booked with Turkish on a student discount of less than 270k. Everything seems to be moving well.
Ride on bro
