folaranmi 1009 it's not a scam...I speak from personal experience...I provided guarantors passport, photocopy of NIN and photocopy of passport data page... don't be told otherwise

Yes, it's about $1040 or 705GBP per person. If you have 4 dependants multiply 705x4. You can pay with your domiciliary acc or tell someone to pay for you from the UK because our Naira master card cannot work.

In as much as we are in a hurry for September intake, we need to take some precautions. There are rules guiding this student visa. The timing is very important because each documents has it's own time.TB,pof, Cas. The Proof of fund is supposed to have settled for at least 28 days before your visa application. You cannot do your biometric without a visa application and you cannot do a visa application without meeting the proof of fund of 28days first, Any variance to this or you applied before pof is 28days is an automatic refusal. Same way lots of people were booking TB in april for sept/oct intake so earlier enough that the CAS was not out, they needed to then change the university. It should be one thing at a time, we won't waste resources ooo.
All these rushings are not required if one seized his time and plans ahead. Jan intake start now, sort schools and admission unconditional offer first, make your payment deposit for CAS, then TB, 28days can begin once others are complete, then apply after 28days within full 31 days of maturity of pof, I hate fire brigade approach, Check which one do you want to apply early, sept, Jan, may. You start on time. (My opinion)

Pls is it during VISA application that we would pay for IHS and how is it calculated pls?

That a course isn't on the occupation list dosent mean it isn't in demand..
I advice u look at the bigger picture uk might not be your final destination..
Supply chain is booming world wide especially in the USA, Asia and European countries

I have applied to other universities and got offered admission but I was torn between these two for some reasons. However, having spoken to a friend in London and was given some good advice I have decided to go with the University of Hul[/b]l.
I will like to advice some people here based on what I was told.

-Getting a good job in the UK takes time, most times they require some UK experience so you shouldnt just expect to get a good graduate job immediately you complete your studies, go for the one available, gain some experience and then try applying again for the one you have had your eyes on all along.
-Most employers in the UK check the ranking of your University before considering you for a job.
-It is very rare to get a permanent job with your 20hours student work permit only parttime/temporary jobs are easily gotten.
-You can change your location after your studies to a place where the chances of getting the kind of job you want and/or qualify for is in abundance. -If you do not get a job after studies please do self a favour by applying quickly to leave the United Kingdom for some other country that her economy is way stronger than that of the UK before your Visa expires. Coming back to Nigeria shouldn't be an option with all that is happening here, but if your situation is different and your connect is strong here please do come back.

In summary, do what works for you, individual situations differ.
